Cannot associate id apple on iMac user account

Recently, I wiped my drive through the recovery and reinstalled the OS X. I wanted to have a new start and configure things again. All my data is supported in large part upwards, or on the cloud, so it was easy to restore what I needed. Something with that I'll have a problem, is that I can not reset my account password with my Apple ID. I wish that my account is linked to my Apple ID to use my apple ID password. On my macbook my ID apple is associated with the account, and I login using this password. On my iMac it does not give me the option to reset using apple ID. Any ideas?

User account:

I did a right click and click Advanced options. It is connected to the correct apple ID. For alias, it was my apple ID email and another code name. I deleted this one just to leave my email Apple ID.

Additional note:

In my contacts, I have a 'my card' that is connected to my user account. Is there a reason why the image of this map is not sync with my mac account picture? I don't know if that is expected or if I need to change the picture of user account on all my devices manually.

The Apple ID can be a real problem. For me it took finally a call for technical assistance. But take a look on the support Apple ID try to connect to your iMac your Apple ID and password in the App Store or iTunes. It should work. Some of the real pros may have the solution, if it does not do.  Good luck.

  • Cannot open options feature or power user accounts.

    I'm not a fan of the AOL software. Personally I would not use AOL as my Internet service provider. I only had a close encounter with the AOL software in recent years. Finally, the problem has been solved and it was not caused by the AOL software but he could have easily.

    AOL has always provided a brand of software developed by others.   • Cannot print PDF files with the user account, can with the other.

    Windows 7, drive 11, when logged in as a user, I can't print PDF.  No errors, no waiting in line, other types of files / print very well.  If I connect with a different domain account, PDF s print very well.  I have uninstalled/reinstalled drive, went out something about player since the users profile/user files.

  • My iMac freezes during a turn on and between two switching user accounts

    My 2011 iMac has been crashing for weeks. Usually, it freezes when I turn it on, connect to switching user accounts or user accounts.

    I upgraded to Sierra yesterday and I continued using for hours and it was fine.

    I turned on today; some of the Apple applications do not work... Mail, App Store, Safari (this is what I tried). Responsible mail application, saw a list of emails, but when I click on a particular message, the message will not load. Safari cannot load a Web page at all (I'm now using Chrome). AppStore cannot load anything too.

    Definitely get rid of "Trusteer" however. As a needless "anti-virus" garbage is still installed on your Mac, it is unreasonable to expect it to work the way it was designed to work. Safari won't work. Mail will not work. A lot of other things that you really need to work just won't work. Please read of effective defenses against software malware and other threats.

    You don't need the Extension Safari DDG, since DDG has been integrated natively in Safari for some time. Select the Safari menu > Preferences > Search and select the dropdown Search engine DuckDuckGo . Then, select Extensions, select the extension DuckDuckGo and Uninstall.

    Leaving the current Extension is OK but it does nothing.

    I don't know what it is. If you do not either, get rid of it. At least delete your login items.

  • Two accounts using Apple ID on the same user account

    Hello

    I just bought my two children, who are 7 and 9, an iPod Touch each. I would like to implement separate Apple ID (with the sharing of the family) then we can use and iMessage, find friends - but I don't want to set up separate user accounts on the Mac Mini that we (the two user accounts would be unnecessarily complicated for them).

    All the tips I found online seems to suggest two user accounts, then someone can tell me if logging in and out of the Apple ID in iTunes even work for them (as identifier Apple is much broader than iTunes just used by Mac system)?

    With the help of two Apple ID on the same iTunes account will cause problems as the Apple ID use two families sharing. When iTunes is connected to with an Apple ID and one of the following conditions is present:

    Download the latest purchases

    Use the family sharing

    Use iTunes game

    Use the automatic downloads

    Use iCloud music library

    The device or the Mac becomes associated with this Apple ID. Once that the device or the Mac is associated with one Apple, another ID that uses one of these services cannot connect for 90 days. After 90 days, the second ID can connect, but it then becomes associated to this ID.

    But if you use the sharing of family and children are less than 13 years old, then they must use ask to buy, and that would mean that the organizer would be when even pay for all of their iTunes purchases. Then why not sign Organizer Apple ID in iTunes on Mac Mini?

  • You cannot associate computers with this Apple ID.

    Received the message "You cannot associate more computers that Apple ID" on my MacPro main, which is the main computer for all Apple devices.  But I used it this past weekend, so not sure what happened.  Just updated two phones for my children, and upgraded to the plan of the family music from Apple, would it be it? We have this MacPro, a MBPro, mine & wife & 3 phones & 3 iPads & 2 Apple TV children.  I logged on my iTunes account to "Manage devices" and a generic iPhone listed that does not have anyone there, but I can't remove it (the button is grayed out) - it just says: "iPhone (iPhone).  5 phones, 3 iPad and only the MB Pro are listed - the final spot is that the generic iPhone which I do not know what it is.  And now this MacPro is more listed.  Any suggestions?
