  I'm under CC and I am up to date with all updates.  I look at tutorials and I noticed that on 2 of my tools; Healing & healing spot brush have no flyout menu drop-down available, however in the tutorial, the menu clearly has the drop-down list on this subject? Also, I used the perspective distortion, and I could not use ctrl-click according to the tutorial.  Does make a difference that I said that I was a newbie when I downloaded CC?   Hi guys, I am a full-time Retoucher. Just installed and started using CC 2014 from CC.

  Photoshop has migrated my prefs/settings on what is optimal. However I notice weird things with the heal or brushes spots (that I used 80% of my time).

  Then, when I use a tool, instead of a line of smooth brush from point a to b, I rather get a shower or Jig such as the stroke.

  This is not the case in CC. I use a Wacom 3 so I tried the same tool with my mouse, same jitter.

  Buffer of duplication and the standard brush is very well.

  Anyone else does? Or know a fix or setting I need to change.

  Just I just stumbled upon a post where someone mentions the Reset tool menu item. And guess what, he fixed it! Here it is:

  

  Click the icon for the tool in the upper left corner, then click on the gear icon and choose Reset tool.

  This does not mean that something is not bad but, as the problem will probably return, and I'm sure this isn't a setting I change by accident. But at least we have a workaround solution.

• HP Envy 17: HP Envy 17 Notebook Synaptics click & drag does not work

  My Synaptics-click & drag does not work. When I click on an icon it will highlight, then I click on the new icon and drag, and it do not drag. If I manual pushes the lower left corner of the Tablet and make it work. Sometimes it works but 90% of the time it does not work. The problem makes this laptop a laptop of poor and done really click and drag a pain.

  I deleted the driver and installed the latest driver HP Synaptics for my laptop than a couple of times and no luck. I even downloaded the Synaptics ' generic driver for win 8.1 "and it's worse. I can see why there are so many people not loving is not this Synaptics click on the button and I would certainly not buy another if this is not resolved. All other synaptics features work except this one.

  Figured it out. My mistake. Must click twice VERY quickly and hold to drag on the second. I have been to much too much time between clicks and it wouldn't hang in the window or icon. Hope this helps others who may have difficulty with this.

  This problem may be caused by the Yahoo! toolbar as scopes as well down and covers the top of the browser window, allowing links in this part of the screen not clickable.

  Not cheap ($70), but for people in your position, it is an excellent alternative.  It's like an upside-down mouse.  The ball is on the top.  The ball is the same size as a ball pool on a pool table.  Roll you the ball with your hand open until the pointer on the screen where you want.  Then you lift your hand and use your thumb or a finger to click one of the buttons.  This separates the function positioning and selection in two different actions.

  Then, it probably doesn't and therefore more recoverable.  If several computers say it cannot be read, or it must be formatted before it can be used, then the problem is the flash player.  It does not, or the files that it contains are corrupt.  I hope that you have a backup of them stored somewhere.

  Try resetting all the tools. Left corner of the top toolbar.

  Then try to reset the workspace. In the dropdown to choose the workspace is the option to reset.

  Finally, restore preferences. Ctrl alt shift on Windows or cmd opt shift on Mac like Photoshop starts.
