  • Cannot connect to Admin page

    Hi guys,.

After a power failure, the virtual environment is down.

At reboot, vCOPs service returned to Foundation mode even if it is allowed with a key Advanced Suite.

I tried to re-register vCOPs with the vCenter server but cannot connect more to the page/admin.

By clicking on Login button that it remains a "check login information." literally 5 minutes then fails with a "General error has occurred."

I checked the disk space on/data on both virtual machines and it is less than 10% used so it is not a question of space and so I did not add a new measure/data disc (see KB 2016022).

I've done the usual audits of common sense but no luck...

    Hello

I got the same question but used 2013358 KB to fix.

I ran the script resetadminpwd.sh that came out with the error: "the password was not correctly reset" because of the command of psql not found... but it worked on the UI VM.

Note that I used the same password that previously set, which violates the new requirements of the SP2 SLES-password only my root password was to be performed.

  • Cannot connect as Admin user in a new installation of the workspace 2.0

I was hitting my head on my desk and I was wondering if I lack just something. I'll put in space 2.0 using EGGS and when I set up the username admin and the password that I can not make it unique. In fact, it uses my newspaper AD in when I don't even have these setting again. If someone could just tell me how to change that, it would be great. Thank you!

    Jared

    Hi Jared,

Thanks for the clarification. The user name on the license key cannot be changed, it is hardcoded to "admin". You can use this user name and password to connect to the ISU following Admin

    https://Configurator-VA.domain.com

    https://connector-VA.domain.com/HC/Admin/

    https://gateway-VA.domain.com/SaaS/login/0

If you want to connect to the admin of https://gateway-va.domain.com or https://gateway-va.domain.com/as an administrator, you must log on as a user you specified as the Bind DN.

https://gateway-va.domain.com/SAAS/login/0 and https://gateway-VA.domain.com/ admin that both take you to the same functionality. The only difference is that the former allows you to connect as a user no AD.

  • Cannot connect to admin account (the user profile Service failed)

    Hi all
When I try to access my admin account, well I typed my password, BUT this message appears:

    User profile service failed
    User profile cannot be loaded

I can get my guest very well account, but can not use my admin... anything that can help please!
Anyone who can help would be great

This problem may occur if the user profile folder is deleted manually. A profile that is manually deleted does not remove the security identifier (SID) of the list of profiles in the registry. If the SID is present, Windows will try to load the profile by using the ProfileImagePath that points to a nonexistent path. Therefore, the profile cannot be loaded. Here you go:

    1. Use your repair Windows CD to start the machine in Repair Mode.
    2. Use system restore to set Windows to a point before the injury has been caused by your friend.
    3. Instead of giving your friend one and the only password on your PC, to plan ahead a little and create, test and document an alternative admin account, same as you have a spare emergency House key.

    Hello

    -You're on a domain network?

-Have there been any changes made on the computer before the show?

-What happen when you try to connect through the other user? You are able to boot to the desktop?

I would suggest trying the following steps and check.

Case 1: Group Policy "" Allow the local newspaper"was not set up to allow users or users of the domain. Configuration allow users or domain users to connect to the computer or the domain, you must add users or users of the area to "allow the local newspaper. Please follow these steps to add users.

    1. Run gpedit.msc.
    2. expand Configuration ordinateur\parametres securite\strategies windows\parametres
    3. click on user rights assignment
4 4 veiller ensure that "Allow the local newspaper" includes administrators, backup
    Operators, domain users or users.

Case 2: Group Policy "'Deny log on locally' has been installed to deny users or users of the domain. For the installer allow users or users in the domain to connect to the computer or local domain, "Deny log on locally" must be empty or no user or users of the domain in the list. Please follow these steps to remove users or users of the domain of the 'Deny log on locally '.

    1. Run gpedit.msc.
    2. expand Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies
    3. click on user rights assignment
    4. make sure that "Deny log on locally" is empty.

Case 3: Local group policy allow for user logon. However, group policy domain that overrides the local policy does not allow users to log on locally. The resolution is to modify the domain policy to allow users to log on locally.

Case 4: The domain policy allows domain users to log on locally, but is not the local policy and domain policy does not apply to the computer. The fix is running gpupdate to force the update of the domain policy.

Case 5: Norton Firewall blocks communications between the domain controller and the client. The solution is to disable Norton firewall or reconfigure to grant access to the domain controller.

    It will be useful.

  • Cannot connect my Satellite L20 to AP

    Hello
I have a satellite L20-214, just bought it and an edimax 7205 ap.
    Both supported the 80211b specifications.
Access to the AP is completely open!
But I can't get the laptop to connect.
He sees the network in the list, but it just cannot connect to it.
    I tried all settings,
The access point works perfect with smc cards and a few old books.
I set all the possible settings in the config of Toshiba, disabled the encryption, change the channel to 1 because it is the channel of pref. of the ap and choose 80211b as prim.

For now, I'll give some further tests before I have to return the laptop to the store because it's brand new.

But I hope someone has an answer for me.

  • NSLU2 - cannot connect a network - xp home sp3 drive

    Hello!

I have a network of two xp machines connected to a wrt54gl router (dhcp) a xp pro and XP home.

I bought a NSLU2 unit. I successfully set up according to the instructions of a xp pro machine with a USB plugged into the port of disk1. It shows on this fine machine as a network device, as well as two shared folder (admin and disk1) without further delay. (A minor hiccup: I tried to serve as a dhcp client, but I couldn't for some reason, but it works very well with fixed ip.)

However, on xp home, I can't connect at all. It does not appear in the My network, cannot connect to it with-. I can see the device in my work group, but that's it, if I click on explore, it hangs for a while, then gives a "no access, no doubt you have no authorization" error.

I can still access it from the web interface, but otherwise no luck.

I tried to create a user on the NSLU2 web interface with the same name as the users private XP, without success.

Someone has an idea what to do?

There is a resounding slap on my forehead. It was through the firewall.

(Although now, I do not understand, how NSLU2 forced on another machine with the same parameters...) I just had to add the slug of the IP of the zone of confidence.

  • WRT54GL establishment cannot connect to the Internet

I'm so basic in my problem as I feel stupid, but I get the message that the router cannot connect to the Internet.  Why the hell not?  I am writing on the same laptop, using the same ADSL modem and Internet connection.  So why don't the router sees it?  The last time I have tried again, start over from scratch, he kept do and re-do "check your computer's connections" and then ask me again my password of.  I didn't know if he wanted the original preset 'admin' or that I had sometimes back (hours) came the first time that this has been asked.  So I tried both.  Finally he moved reset the password or something, and I finally return to the "the router cannot connect to the Internet.  Power, then turn on the DSL Modem. "I did already too many times to count.  And again I say, this direct DSL connection of the modem for my laptop is fine.  But when the cable Internet through the router, then the other wire goes to my laptop, no Internet.  All the time my DSL modem displays a green light for the Internet.  And the router shows a light on the Internet.

I'm too tired to walk any further tonight.  Maybe someone has a simple suggestion.  I'll check tomorrow.

Thanks for helping this rank amateur.

Try to configure the router manually.

Connect the modem to the Internet port and the computer and port Ethernet 1 of the router.

Press and hold the reset button on the router for 30 seconds. Release the reset button and wait 30 seconds. Power cycle the router and reconfigure.

Follow this link to configure the router with DSL Internet Service.

Hi guys, my laptop cannot connect to wireless internet. I tried to use ConfigFree Diagnostic tests already installed on my computer, reset the router, and even taking on the router for 30 seconds and put it to. Anyway the same answer applies: update WiFi driver that something has probably
He touched. Make sure that the wireless device is turned on, if there is a switch on the computer.
Many Toshiba have a WiFi switch on the front or side.

Update the driver WiFi, use the wired (NIC) to download the driver or do it on another
system and your transfer on removable media such as CD, DVD or a USB key.

Control Panel - device - network - WiFi note the brand manager and full
model information - double click - writing tab Drivers version - then power management tab uncheck "allow the computer to turn off this device...". »

Then on the tab driver, click Update driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind
drivers of certification) - then right click on the device - UNINSTALL - REBOOT - this will
    update the driver stack.

Go to system Maker and search for the WiFi Driver updated - download - SAVE - go to
where you put it - make a right click on it - RUN AS ADMIN - REBOOT

Then go to the site of the manufacturer of the device and get even more recent (Realtek, Intel, or one that makes
the device) and try the install again.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
