  Of course you can upgrade to El Capitan. But I think better if you can change the internal hard drive (SATA drive) in the SSD drive. You will get better results, faster than still, you only have 4 GB. This is mine... MacBook pro in early 2011.

  Do not simply close their windows. Choose EXIT their menus. If they were all off at the stop, they should not re-launch at startup.

  But if you simply close they windows, they are still worn running. next time you start, it will be open again.

  I can't answer that question, but I can say that CS5 is is no longer being updated for the new hardware and operating systems, so as far as I know, if you buy an external with the same kind of screen 'High definition' monitor you have now, you will have the same problem

  Hello, I recently got a new MacBook Pro to replace an older Macbook and I am an old user of CS6.  I searched the forum and found many questions/answers about CS6 and El Cap, but most deal with people who have updated their current computer to the new IOS.  THIS isn't the case for me, since it is a new computer that has never had (yet) installed cs6

  Yes. Find LR catalog file in Edit/settings/general catalogue. Close LR and go to this place. The catalog file is one that ends by .lrcat - move it where you want. Beside the .lrcat file is a subfolder called Previews.lrdata. You can move, but if you don't not LR will generate new insights. As I said, it doesn't have a stable wifi connection, and I can see the presence of the printer when I click on the plus to add a printer, but then, if I want to add it, it says "cannot communicate with the printer at this time." I rebooted the computer laptop and printer and even left stop for the night, but it does not work. Nobody knows anything else to try?

  I understand that you are having problems with HP Officejet 6700 Premium does not connect to your Macbook Pro.

  The router must sometimes be recycled.  I unplug the router, turn off the printer, shut down the computer.

  Turn on router wait 5 min and turn on the printer and the computer.

  Check the printer if the Wifi is STRONG.

  Open Preferences system, Print and or print and scan pane. If you see the printer listed
  Click Printer button remove. It will ask for confirmation to delete printer.
  Click on add it or + button, select the MFP Hello not Fax. Adding that should update the drivers.

  If the Wifi of the printer is not fixed, you will need to reconfigure.

  1. Press the power button to turn on the printer.

  Your best option is to go to a store (Apple or reseller) and compare screens side by side.  Only then can you make an informed decision.

  The main differences between the two models is that the retina has no DVD player and cannot have put RAM at day after purchase and the PCIe SSD updated at great expense (which will also void any warranty).

  The non-retine can have the RAM has increased to a maximum 16 GB at a later date and may have installed later hard/SSD drives of up to 2 TB of capacity.
