  I have a HP 8630 printer connected to my local network via a wired connection.  The printer works fine for computers on the same network with the printer.  What I call the 'normal' network

  I also have a Samsung Galaxy 3 smartphone using Android software 4.4.2.  I want to print directly to the printer from the phone using WIFI Direct.  I was not able to get this process works.  The smartphone is on the part "comments" of the network for security reasons.

  My samsung galaxy ace s5830 was a 10.2 cyanogen mod version (compareable to 4.2.2 android). but it was not compatible with the real version ff for android. then I upgraded to version 11.1 cyanogen mod (compareable for android 4.4.4 kitkat). but the real version ff for android isn't always compatible wirh this hardware/software-configuration. download game google store is always denied.

  That old phone of 2011 is ARMv6 cpu that is no longer supported.

  from Firefox 31.0 support for ARMv6 was ignored, because only ARMv7 and Intel x 86 is supported.

  Using a homegroup allows for easier sharing, but if you want to connect the phone then unfortunately, I must inform you that you can not connect mobile phone or android device to a homegroup connection.

  You must have the drivers or firmware upgrades installed that are provided by the manufacturer for each device you want to connect. But before moving on to which you can check if you need to make your computer discoverable to Bluetooth devices, or set Windows to alert you when a new device is trying to connect to your computer. To do this, you need to control how your computer pairs with (connects to) Bluetooth devices.

  Method 1: To control how your computer pairs with Bluetooth - devices

  (a) open the control panel by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel.

  (b) in the control panel search box, type Bluetooth, and then click Change Bluetooth settings.

  (c) in the Bluetooth settings dialog box, click the Options tab and do one of the following:

  Pour rendre make your computer discoverable to Bluetooth devices, select the check box for Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer.

  I'm having the same problem.  I use Hotspot on the Sprint for Internet network on laptop and TV.  Hotspot and mobile connected properly.  On the first attempt, everything went well past and Samsung Smart Tv connected without any problem.  I could turn on Netflix and watch 2 movies.  The next day, I was unable to connect the TV to the Internet, but he has been connected to the Hotspot signal on phone.  Everything is good with HotSpot connection and worked for hours with Netflix.  I am obviously missing a step that I had done before.  The answer is Yes, Smart TV will connect to the hotspot.  Uncertain of the WIFI.  Hope that helps.  If you find new info, please let us know.

• Cannot connect to the admin page of R6400 laptop, only on iPhone

  I installed a new router R6400 but can not access the admin of my laptop page. I was able to access it from my iPhone, so I am able to connect to the internet.

  I have talked to support 2 or 3 times and they always say the same thing: reset the router, type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar, try routerlogin.net or routerlogin.com, ping the router, check the IP address, etc. etc. I even tried to simply connect to the router via an Ethernet cable and still no go.

  Is someone can you please tell me why it does not work? I have read both articles, and they all seem to be saying the same thing. I just want to be able to access the admin of my laptop page. Someone at - he found a solution to this?

  I activated just improved Protected Mode and it worked. Don't know if it's the best solution (saw where to uncheck enable protected mode was an option too), but at least the admin site open - finally!
