Cannot connect to the Oracle 10g Enterprise Manager have Sysdba but on order

Hello experts,

In I found a problem my Oracle 10 g today (new facility to test) that I cannot connect to the Manager of the company have SYSDBA but can connect if I use command... prompt as connection system as sysdba downside... This method works.

I need to take a set of DB to the top, and I guess I need to connect to EM as sysdba for this.

Also, when I try to take all DB Backup (connected as user of norman in EM) I get the error below.

Validation error

Review and correct the following errors, and then try again:
Error - connection to the host as user dmadmin failed: ERROR: wrong password for the user

But my user name and passwords are correct.

Pls help

Kind regards
Rognard

Hello

First you need the installation for the user credentials, you can do

Panel-->---> local security policies--> local policy--> assignment user--> the administration tools log on as batch > add the username of the BONE to the Group (if does not exist, create it).

Then use this user name to set crendentials

Default password for user 'oc4jadmin! I'm not aware of this user in 10.1.2.x, maybe there's one of OC4J side but not otherwise. If you are looking for credentials to connect to OracleAS controls (EM), the username is "ias_admin" and password is the one you specified during the installation. There is no default password. Refer to this:

  • Oracle 10g Enterprise Manager DB control vs Console Enterprise Manager

We have a consultant to install Oracle 10 g on Windows platform. Somehow, I see that Enterprise Manager Console installed, and I can use this console to access database. I don't see installed Enterprise Manager Database Control. What is the difference between the Console and DB control? Please notify.

    Thank you

I see that the interfaces are completely different. the console is more like Oracle 9i. I know that the DB control is a web tool, just for Oracle 10 g. My question is in terms of admin, what is the best? Why Oracle has a different tool to manage the database?

The Oracle Enterprise Manager Console is a stand-alone Java client, not a 3-tier as the Console of DB EM product.

The stand-alone Java client has been deprecated in gR 10, 1. Probably because not all features were brought to the DB Console at 3 levels (for example: the Spatial index and the management of the workspace management), Oracle decided to let us use the Java Console as an additional installation on the customer/partner drive. However, it is no longer available to go ahead in 11g.

If you look carefully at the "Console", you won't be that some areas are more functional and it covers all the capabilities of 10g, for example in partitioning and indexing.

    Hi Debbie,.

You might face this problem because of wrong settings in Internet Explorer. You mentioned that you get the update of windows Microsoft Silverlight, so we can deduce that there is a problem with the Internet browser. Please write us with the following details.

    (1) do you get error messages when all websites fail to load?

    (2) what is the brand and model of your computer?

Why can't I connect to the Internet?

  • Adobe Connection Manager cannot connect to the Adobe servers

    Hello

I found many sons of this topic, but not helped me to solve my problem.

I have not used my app in a few months. A few weeks ago, I did it again and still get the message that my subscription cannot be verified because it is unable to connect to the Adobe servers. I started the Application Manager and get the same message there.

I tried everything in this document: http://helpx.Adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html all measures are successful and

I tried to connect my laptop directly with the LAN cable to the modem, always without success

    I do not use proxies.

I disabled my firewall and Antivirus, spyware, etc. applications, it always says that it cannot connect.

I tried to download the Desktop Application, but also the message that it cannot connect to the servers.

I really don't know what to check out more. I have no problem with secure sites or something else, that I use.

Any suggestions that could be the problem?

Note: it is said to set the clock correctly. What time does yone check against? My Windows is German, he CC is German, I'm in Germany and use the time zone correct. I often use the US formatted numbers and date formats, because I need it Hat way for work. I tried with the settings the Americans and the Germans, well. Makes no difference.

  • Cannot connect to the database Oracle Hyperion EPM 11.1.2

    Hello!
I'm deployment Hyperion EPM 11.1.2 on a single machine with Windows 2008 R2 x 64. I created an Oracle database, and I can connect to it through SQL, so everything looks ok here. I also installed the Oracle Client for Win x 64 and ODP on my machine. The installation of Hyperion EPM also completed successfully, and then I went to set it up. I have entered the database connection information:

    Driver database: Oracle (thin)
Server: the IP address of the machine >
    Port: 1521
The service name or SID: < my Oracle database name >
Username: Oracle user with the role of s/n >
Password: < password of the Oracle user >

And then I click on 'Next' and I get the error message: + "" i/o error: the network adapter could not establish the connection "+"

I would point out that I also had a problem connecting to the Oracle SQL Plus error first database: "ORA - 12560:TNS:protocol adapter error. But after the creation of the ORACLE_SID environment variable by assigning the name of the database, this error disappeared.

Please help with any advice on what could be bad! Thank you!

If you use 'localhost' or 127.0.0.1 during the configuration of the database not the real IP address

I can connect to XDB through a DEV instance on the same server, but cannot connect to the instance SCIDEV. The differences are THAT DEV is nls_characterset WE8MSWIN1252. SCIDEV is AL32UTF8. DEV has ports 8080 and 2100. SCIDEV has ports 8089 and 2102. HTTP request continuously a user / password without error. Watch FTP authentication failed. WebDAV continually requires a user name and password. I've tried a few things with no luck yet. What should I do to be able to connect? • Application is not able to connect using the Oracle SCAN chain

    Dear Oracle gurus

    We have 11g r2 11.2.0.3.0 2 cluster nodes

We have configured the scanning using scan-vip single using/etc/hosts file resolution

Our app to work correctly using the string of double local Vip (10g method)

Scan works very well in the database server when we check using sqlplus

Works very well in the database server Oracle SCAN

    Sqlplus DB - 1 test bench / testbed@my-db-scan:1521 / orcl

When we use it below URL JDBC in Tomcat Version-6 then "doesn't allow not to connect even if there will connect a while but connectivity isn't stable when we reboot the tomcat"

    Hibernate.Connection.URL=jdbc:Oracle:Thin:@My-DB-Scan:1521/ORCL

Application is not able to connect using the Oracle SCAN chain

But even once, when we try to stop and start then same problem occurred that we are not able to connect to the database

    Thanks in advanace

We had solved the problem of our self
to disable the setting of listener_network

We also increase the connection timeout on the demand side

  • Fire power User Agent is unable to connect with the power of fire management center

    Hi Cisco supports,

I have problem with firepower User Agent, when I want to add a power of fire management center agent, then I get the error "cannot connect to the management center of firepower." You can find the error in the attachment! I have already added the User Agent in the CMF.

My Version of power of fire management centre is 6.0.0.1

and my 2.3 10 User Agent

    Hello

You don't need to open it manually. If you have added the CMF officer, then it should be opened by default. What I wanted was to ensure that there is no intermediate firewall between the agent and the CMF.

You can capture packets on FMC cli and check if traffic reaches here.

  • My laptop cannot connect to the internet with the error (code 31) Qualcomm Atheros AR9485WB-EG Wireless Network Adapter

Hi, my laptop have this problem cannot connect to the internet, but the bar shows that I am connected to the network, but without access to the internet.

I tried someone's guide to uninstall the network adapter in Device Manager and then reinstall it again, but now I'm stuck with the laptop cannot even detect the wireless network and the "Qualcomm Atheros AR9485WB-EG Wireless Network Adapter ' on Device Manager displays this message"the device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)"

I forgot since when this problem persists.

Please help me with this problem of internet connection,

List of maybe / don't may not be the problem:

    1. I had mcafee antivirus 3 weeks around which has already expired for about 50 days and I uninstalled to turn into kaspersky anti-virus

    2. my windows is still 8.0

    3 ASUS N56V

    4. browser chrome incognito window

Thank you Mr President, I found a solution for this problem

I just turn on the download via connections counters my PC-> devices config->download via connections counters

and then I tried to enter the following command at the command prompt run as administrator

    netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

I hope this helps anyone else having the same problem as mine

    Thank you again Sir
