  One of the device of ISE of my client has just hung this morning.  He has rebooted and is back in business.

  However, the client wants to know the root cause.

  Is there a dump file that I can analyze?  Logging does not seem to have this information.

  "show support" in the cli can enlighten us. (First set "term len 0" and connect the output - it will be over 10,000 lines).

  There are also a number of newspapers still more detailed - they are listed when you run 'tech show' that the TAC can analyze if necessary.

• Development planning of the ISE problem backup

  I had configured our ISE v1.2 (patch 5) running to run weekly backups for Configuration and operation of the data through the user interface.  This initial setting worked perfectly.  The question I have, is that I cannot now change the frequency of these backups.  The GUI allows me to change the settings and no reports some people make mistakes.  The graphical user interface displays even the new calendar (every day in this case), but unfortunately I still end to the top with her backups only each week.  Everyone knows this, or have a suggestion what to look for?

  To implement this workaround solution please join the TAC. This defect will be addressed in ISE 1.2.1 release.

  We received this error after the backup job hung and the device is down.  An error was received from the ESX host, while powering cannot open the disc

  The Data1 - XXXX-SVR_2_1.vmdk has been removed.  Does anyone know how to remove the task so the unit COME will start?  The only thing I have not tried must manually create a VMDK bearing the same name.  I'm afraid it may cause more damage.  Did someone came across this?

• ISE 2.0 Server backup problem

  I'm trying to implement backup-TFTP to an ISE 2.0, but the TFTP entry does not appear in the repository list, once I configured it.

  Does anyone else have this problem?

  I also had problems with FTP backups. The repository is configured and healthy air. The backup starts, runs for 5 minutes while getting progressively to 80% and fails. Newspapers reported simply that there so I don't know why he did it.

  When you get a chance, do a battery pull.  When the red light goes on the front of the phone, hold down the back button all the time while the phone is in boot.  When initialization is complete, the phone goes into safe mode.

  You are right that the GRUB was stuck at step 2.  I didn't have enough expertise to edit my own health then downloaded PC advisers.  She restored the start function and the problem is now solved.

  Backups must be in a file in ~ / movies. This is the default location.

  Have you ever used the clip open depending on the timeline? Check each of your clips and see if they are approximately the same length as your project.

  I could back up my old phone with script of B2G-flash-tool. And I could push most of this backup on a new phone, but he hung up and kind of crapped on my phone.   The process creates a "sep13bak" directory and create subfolders for b2g-mozilla, given local and wifi, but they are all empty. I can't understand why I would not be able to pull files. I didn't need to root on my old phone. Is there a setting that I rocked long time that I'm missing here?

  Yesterday, I tried to downgrade my iPad Mini 2 (128 GB) of 9.3 to 9.2 of iOS in DFU mode. Before that, I backed up my iPad in iTunes. After decommissioning, apparently all of my 3rd party apps have been wiped out, and that left me with a huge 'other' part of the use of the iPad. So I decided to reset the iPad and erase everything. I noticed that after the reset, the iOS returned to 9.2.1.

  When I plugged the iPad to my computer later, and tried to restore the backup, I got the message "the backup cannot be restored for iPad because the software is too old". In addition, in the iTunes iPad summary page, the button "restore backup... "is grayed out.

  I guess it's because I backed up my iPad to iOS 9.3, and now it's 9.2.1. But y at - it another way to restore backup of iTunes? Or do I have to update to 9.3 first? iOS 9.3 is currently unavailable (last week it was, however).

  You cannot restore a more recent iOS backup on a device that has an older iOS. You have saved when running iOS 9.3 and your device is now in 9.2.1. You must update the device until backup, you can ise. Unfortunately, as you know, the update is no longer available. Apple shoot because there were significant problems.

• HP Pavilion g6-2298nr: when HP Recovery is not available... the system using Windows 8 as image backup?

  Family of a friend asked me to work on their laptop, because I know more about computers they do... they are people very well, was happy to help out, but true to form, like many PC users, they did not bother keeping the documentation provided with the laptop (HP Pavilion g6-2298nr), or they bother to burn recovery using HP DVD built in recovery software which is comes standard on laptops... If I am interpreting what HP's Web Site had to say about the laptop model HP Pavilion g6-2298nr, correctly, she is the serial number it is no longer eligible for free technical support and I have to pay a fee just to talk to someone and to order recovery of the HP DVD (family friend bought in Dec 2014 so it seems REALLY odd that I wouldn't be able to just order) DVD recovery without having to pay tech support a tax just to ask to order the recovery DVD!  .. But anyway...) ...

  Where was the product key "integrated" in the BIOS really comes in handy!   I crossed my fingers, used the method mentioned in the thread linked above, and it worked!   ... have to admit it was a bit strange at first, do not use the product key sticker like the old days, but I can see how it works better in the long term - helps prevent piracy, you don't have to worry if someone who do not realize the importance of product keys thumbnail it takes off and he throws...

  Unfortunately, it seems that when you reinstall Windows in this way, you lose the HP Backup and Recovery program ... in this case my friend family had the misfortune to pay someone to repair this laptop which has not bothered to tell them "Hey, I replaced the hard drive that goes wrong but if you don't get a laptop cooler for this sucker to the laptop just going to overheat again." ... of course, the money they paid what we call 'tech technician' who went down draining when the laptop fried a second drive hard, or maybe the tech them faced with a bad hard drive, who knows? (technology bought a hard drive OEM off ebay)...

  If program HP Backup and Recovery manager would work even first because it is not an official hard drive WD (I also ordered a hard drive OEM off ebay .. but does not support the family of my friend for the drive hard because they were good for my munchkins and did not want to pay through the nose for a more expensive hard drive so of course I tried to minimize my own...)... I also think the type of program is based on a "C" and "D" drive is set up as if it were when the laptop comes with the original hard drive and saves a copy of the backup on the disk "D"... I guess I could use disk management to create a different partition, label it "D" and see if HP Backup and Recovery work, but it seems a bit... questionable... not to mention that I feel uncomfortable to download something that is not directly on the HP Web site as an "official"... download

  I know that Windows 8 has a utility of 'image system' built-in that allows you to do exactly that... an image of the system... as I said my friend family is good people, but I'm guessing that sooner or later they're going to screw up this laptop by pulling again as do many users of the computer... it would be nice if I could burn a system image of what is on the laptop now on DVD and hang on, then when they come back to me screaming in the future ' help, laptop does not work yet! I can just restore the system image on DVD instead of having to go through the hassle of reinstalling Windows, graphics/audio/drivers etc., zillion Windows updates and an etc. all over again.

  What I was asking, that is... would this even work?    I have never tried to use the image of the system in a situation like this with the product being key ' built in ' BIOS, this kind of thing is brand new to... worth me burning the DVDs and hung their just in case where?

  Yes, which makes a system image will work.  I do it all the time.

  PC GE set up the way you want and make the image of the system and the usb drive recovery you'll need access to the system image, or you can use W8 OEM disk made you (via the menu to repair your computer at the bottom left of the screen install Windows when you start from the DVD) to boot from, and access to the system image.

  If you have the DVD you have to more than one.  Probably not less than 4.

  But as much as to try to submeter a recovery partition, which is not going to work.

  I am very surprised that you cannot order a set of recovery discs HP online at the link below, last line labeled order recovery media.  Some people have reported trying to enter information such as the serial number and the link is dead.  But nothing venture nothing have nothing.

• Hung HP during the update of Windows. Does not start.

  HP woman desktop computer apparently hung during a Windows Update. A few hours later, she she turned off.  Now it does not start until after the blue HP screen.  I tried to boot from a backup CD, but nogo.  Cannot do anything on the blue HP screen (boot, diagnostics, etc.).  What are my options for the system restore?

  Shut down the system. Just unplug the tower including the power cord. Press and hold the power for 10 seconds. Reconnect the monitor, keyboard, mouse, & power. Make sure that there is no cd/dvd in the drive.

  Restart the system by pressing F8

  You should get a screen that has advanced startup options

  Select "last known good configuration".
