  Back up files from my iMac to an external hard drive, including all the photos and the Lightroom Catalog by using time machine.

  It seems that the external hard drive does not write the changes on it and that's why the error that says "the catalog cannot be used because the parent folder"xxx"does not allow files to be created in the breast of this."

  The error is not related to your original catalog being located on the hard drive in the Imac.

  I suggest that you copy this file .lrcat and .lrdata from your local external hard drive to a location on your hard drive and try to launch it from there.

  If this does not work, then you can go for the option to create a new catalog and 'Import from another catalogue'

  I thought the idea of using a CD - RW so you could delete everything that you wanted to and use this part of the disc again and again.

  I didn t find this info in the user manual and if you burned a few data on the CD - RW disks, then it should be possible to format this CD - RW by using a tool like Nero Burning ROM third 3rd for example.

  I need to update my question.  In fact, the files DO NOT play in iTunes on Mac.  They all have "!" before their name and when you try to play it says, the song "Track 01" UMBD1 couldn't be used because the original file cannot be found.   Connect the iPad to your Mac with USB cable and use Image Capture to download video files to iPad.  Make sure they are playable in Quicktime player and then import them into your library.

  If you close the program, but the file is not yet clear, restart your computer. You can view all programs currently running on your computer in the Task Manager.
  
  
  Try this:
  
  1. press Ctrl + Alt + Del
  2. Select the Task Manager
  3. check if word.exe runs in the process
  4. If it is running, end it.

  My printer online should be linked.  However, I have selected a file to print.  I went to Cancle printing in printing (QC) she's being held.  Now the State says "deletion - feel" and is stuck.  I can't print anything else, because they are ensuites in printing only
