  A client came to me with a problem with one of their Illustrator files.

  They recently moved from Illustrator CS2 creative cloud. When opening and closing result/backup files, all work plans are converted into a single plan of work and a new layer containing the 'Guides for plans of work' is created. Reopening the CS2 original file and save it with the CS2 version selected in the dropdown menu with save option results under in the same issue, as the possibility of using work plans are grayed out in advance...   It is a problem for them since they cannot create this multipage PDF files. Is there a work around for this? Either by saving the file differently or a trick in order to save a PDF of several page from a single source of work plan?

  Create new plans of work of the guide layer.

  In CS2, you can only export a multi page PDF of fiddling around with paper sizes in the print dialog box. Since CS4, it is therefore more necessary. You just set up an artbaord for all the pages you need.

  We have published a 19.0.1 hotfix that resolves this problem in discussion on this topic. Please apply the patch to your creative cloud application. The creative cloud application checks the update once a day, so you may see the update immediately.  If you want to force the check for an update at the beginning please logout and log back into the creative Cloud application.

  There is no such API exposed by OIA. However, because it uses the quartz Scheduler, you can find something useful if you look at the documentation of the API of quartz. Quartz is open source so just google it.

Whenever I try to delete a file or a folder in 'My music', I get a message saying "you need to provide the staff privileges to perform this action."   Well, I tried this and I've had some success. I stopped getting the message "you need administrator permission", and instead he traded in the ' cannot delete files: access is denied "or something like that. In all cases, I did all my permissions and other things, it turns out that some malicious software must have gotten past my windows firewall and established a camp in my music folder.
