  The author of the tutorial is able to use 30pt font because the size of the image is much smaller than yours. Take your image size down to a width of 400 or 500 px by going to Image > Image size.

Using the activity monitor to stop the process of connection window manually also fails to solve the problem. I want to assure you that I can install future updates, and it would be nice if I could install it. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

  I have had similar problems with other programs of freezing and not allowing me to exit the application, close the session, restart etc. I submit a post with many other issues I'm having with 10.11.6. I have just deployed 150 machines in schools and it is beyond frustrating.

I did not install new programs (auto-mises updated either) or what I know changed settings, but suddenly today, I is no longer drag and drop files on my laptop... it is everywhere, but more significantly on the desktop, where I put the files usually group then where I want. If I want to move files from the desktop to My Documents, I must now cut and paste!

  It sounds too simple to work, but it worked for me:

  (1) find an affected icon.

  (2) click and HOLD the icon with the left mouse button.

  3) press ESC now left button of the mouse.

  That's all!  This drove me crazy.  It had nothing to do with the registry entries or something else.  Simply a failure & operation drag move which had not left.  Even rebooting worked only temporarily, so I suspect that my Esc key may have been stuck down, or at least the thought system that was!

  My particular variant of this problem appears to be either a Virtual Machine taking the focus of the mouse, or a window of browser (I was running a virtual machine within a browser window) can be interrupted during the action of the mouse.

After I rip the songs on the cd, I can't drag and drop them in my playlist.
