  This is the same installation folder for Camera Raw and Lightroom (i.e., a .dcp installed in the folder you have described will be readable by the CR and LR).

• Profiles of calibration of camera for Leica M - P in Lightroom

  Generally, there are profiles of Calibration of camera for digital cameras in the Lightroom Develop module. I couldn't find these benefits for my Leica M - P I bought this month. Why?

  I know that there are four movie Modes for Leica M - P:

  1. turn off (it should be Standard)

  2. vivid color film

  3 smooth color film

  4 B & W and for which, there are six filters:

  a. Off (it should be the Standard B & W)

  b. yellow

  c. Orange

  d. Red

  e. Green

  f. Blue

  Leica M - P offers beautiful images for each movie Mode on when I shoot with jpg file. Lightroom is my favorite software. Unfortunately I couldn't find profiles of Calibration of camera for Leica M - P when I choose DNG for shooting. This means that I could not use DNG and get the same results that I shoot with jpg. It's really frustrating!

  Could you tell me how to solve this problem? Please don't tell me to create them myself using Adobe DNG Profile Editor, or to find them through some websites.

  To my knowledge, old Leica M3 user in 1972 to M8s in 2007, the M - P is just a Leica M Type 240 with some additional features/design/model.

  So it will probably not all profiles camera-specific for the M.-P. The M - P uses the exact same sensor and electronics as the 240 Type.

  But then there was probably a M9 M.-P. I'm not sure. There should be a few more other than just M.-P model designation.

• Profile of Calibration of camera for Leica D - Lux type 109

  I have Lightroom 5.7 with Camera Raw 8.7, so supposedly the latest versions, and yet I see no choice other than Adobe Standard profile of Calibration of camera menu. I have the 109 type newly supported for Leica D - Lux and expected to see some specific choice of camera in the profile menu. I am not mistaken?

  Most cameras have only one Adobe Standard profile:

  492 models of cameras have the Adobe Standard profile.

  166 models of cameras have in most Adobe Standard profiles, for the most part, Canon, Nikon, Olympus and Sony.

  The only Leica model that has more than one Adobe Standard profile is the M8.

  You opened an empty catalog.

  You can try the following two steps to open the appropriate catalog file.

  1. Use the file-> open recent, open the list of all catalogs
  2. If this does not work, you will need to find the appropriate help for your operating system catalog file and double-click it to open it.

• Bridge cannot read the format from my new camera RAW

  I just bought a new Sony SLT - A58 but bridge says that it cannot read the RAW format, so, I can't download my pictures.

  I went online and found an Adobe Camera Raw 6.7.1 and DNG Converter 7.4 plugins that supposidely would solve the problem. Nothing helps. Still refuse to recognize the RAW format.

  Desperate as it's my job to camera and and need it up and runing as soon as possible. I have had absolutely no problem with my older Sony A100.

  What's weird is that... If I pass the photos in the converter, it shows me the .dng pictures version, so something is there. Why the bridge can not see my RAW photos? ... and also, leave tons of caches and weird icons in the file, a real mess.

  I'm on Mac OS 10.6.8 platform (Snow Leopard) and using CS5... and Yes, all my programs and software are up-to-date.

  So if the RAW support is specific, why do a plugin for CS5 and for my camera?

  Adobe has released versions of Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) immediately to ACR 1.0 (which was compatible with Photoshop 7). However, cameras supported varies according to the version of ACR and the version of the Adobe application.

  You must match:

  • your camera brand and model
  • the version of Camera Raw that takes in charge your camera brand and model
  • the specific version of Adobe software that supports the version of Camera Raw that you need.

  In your case, the Sony SLT - A58 was first based ACR 7.4 - which is only supported in CS6 and later versions. CS5 is not compatible with ACR7.4.

  CS5 is certainly not an antique and the A58 Sony isn't a huge technology Hasselblad. I have friends who have a large Nikon and Sony A77 and Canon and import their FIRST in their Bridge CS5.

  All that matters is that the specific camera corresponds with what version of ACR - and what applications are Adobe are compatible with this version of ACR.

  Can't comment on great Nikon or Canon mentioned above without specific camera model numbers.

  However, the Sony A77 is supported by ACR6.5 which is compatible with Bridge CS5 +. Easy to see why this combination works.

  Similarly, your Sony A100 was first supported by ACR 3.5, which is compatible with Bridge CS2 +. Easy to see why it works.

  Always read the tables linked above Adobe and cross with each other. That should clear up your confusion.

• Cannot migrate the profile T-Bird

  I have another profile there that was created when I started Thunderbird on my new computer. Then I went in the profiles.ini file and here is what I have and what I tried, none of this has worked:

  I tried almost all combinations of 0 and 1, no luck. Could you please tell me how this is done? It seems that the changes I do return to the original values, when I try to save them, even if I click on save before leaving. Also, I end up finding new profiles when I restart Thunderbird. I have tried to delete the new profile in the profiles folder, nothing helped. Thanks for any help you can give.

  I think that we should give the full path to the program file. On this machine, that would be:

  "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla" PEI

  That's why we often suggest that you copy an existing link and then modify it. Usually access mode safe, or as in this example, the Profile Manager.

Finally, I went into the control panel and I could not yet find the program until I went to uninstall/change programs where I got Lenovo EasyCamera. However, it is the only place where I can find the program. I tried searching again in the list of programs in the start (this time by typing in Lenovo Easy Camera) and he told me that no such program exists even if I saw him clearly in the list programs in the control panel uninstall/change.   Step 2: Download the SOFTWARE of easy Capture of the pilot site above.
  Right-click on the Setup file and select Properties, then select the Compatibility tab, check the box nex to run this program in compatibility mode for: menu drop-down select Windows XP (Service Pack 3) then click apply then OK and try to restart the installation.

• Cannot change the profile

• Code 80070241 in Windows update and "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file" when you try to run any program.

  A few old machines will not recognize a USB keyboard/mouse until after Windows starts.  Look at the back of your computer and see if you have a PS/2 (round) connector for a keyboard and a mouse.  If you do, then you will need to use a keyboard with a round PS/2 connector or a USB-to-PS/2 adapter and plug the PS/2 connector on the back of your computer so that it recognizes the keyboard until Windows starts on your keyboard.

  The SATA driver applies to your hard drive.  A CD of start-up/installation of Windows XP does not recognize a SATA hard drive.  If you install Windows, you will need to hit F6 at the right time and insert a floppy with the SATA driver on this subject.
