  Yes, that's where I tried to change profile details and it wouldn't work for some reason any. In any case, I found a solution: I just downloaded the desktop version of Skype and managed to change my profile through which coordinates.

  I don't know if this is the right forum, so I apologize if I put it in the wrong place.

  I recently (3-4 weeks ago, tops), downloaded the latest version of Skype. Since then, I could not change my profile picture, a problem that I didn't have before. When I click on 'change your image... '. "or my profile picture to change it, the regular menu comes up, and I can browse and select a picture. However, the second, that I click on an image to select it, Skype Cup (if I am in a call), gets lag returns for the briefest of moments and then crashes. My icon is not changed when I return.

  The only one I can say based on the error message that it could be a conflict between Skype and a system, maybe graphics card drivers. You can try to update your Skype to the latest version, either 5.5.0.124 or 5.6.0.110. See this:

  Don't get me wrong, I can always change my details within the program, but the portal has been my favorite way to edit the details of the profile and I'd like to find a way to make it work again if possible.

  Windows 7 laptop of my grandson, I'm migrating FIREFOX (excellent resource!) of my aging XP desktop. An existing Mozilla installation on the guarded device tries to connect to an ISP in Sydney (1000km) which kept out, I guess because the signal is too weak. Too far - on the Internet?

  Reinstalled my new ISP contact, reinstalled a fresh copy of Firefox, copied the old profile XP (just underneath the random string file name), but cannot change the fault. Firefox at startup tries to raise the old ISP (Sydney) and expires, and then allowing me to establish a manual connect with the ISP (my current) new.
  Perhaps a clue: in my Firefox troubleshooting info, change preferences, the browser start page is the address of 'old', with 'override mstone' ignore, what look like prints of registry entries, but I can't change all that - and maybe it's wise! An annoying secondary question: on arrival, the laptop listed no administrator user. So I am me came as an administrator, but I wonder if a past or current even Admin hidden could register (or other) entered resistant to change.

  No, you cannot change this profile shortcut key.

  Here are a few shortcuts homescreen to another model. I don't have a complete list for the 8900, but 90% of them work:

  I suspect that the reason why you had no answer is that no one understands the problem, because there is not enough detail to explain it. You have posted in the forum for e-mail client software - Windows Live Mail - which your question seems not to have any connection. So, I guessed, that you need help with Windows Live Family Safety, if your question has been moved to a forum where these issues are now after a reorganization of the forum.

  It might be useful if you answer these questions:

  1. I created 2 profiles of children: where?
     In a program on your computer? If so, which? Please give full name, for example Windows Live Family Safety, family of Norton 360 V5
     In an applet of the Control Panel on your computer, such as user accounts?
     On a website? If so, which? Please copy the address in the address bar of your browser and paste it into your reply here.
  2. What operating system is installed on the computer? If you are unsure, press the Windows key + R, type winver , and then press enter. This will show you the version of Windows installed.

  If this is not sufficient to allow a person to answer your question, it should at least be possible to point you in the right direction.

  _rl.cur is not a slider that comes with XP. Nor is the folder named arrow. You must have installed a 3rd slider party system and I guess you are trying to change that.
