Cannot export to HTML

Screen Shot 2014-10-16 at 2.38.00 PM.png

Whenever I go to export as HTML I get this error and it blocks (by Prerelease). Then I try to muse it blocks everything simply. I've updated everything... don't know what to do.

Please send us the .muse to [email protected] file as well as a link to this topic and your return e-mail address.

According to the journal of the accident there is an image in your file that triggers a bug in our code JPEG management. This isn't an accident because I've seen before, so we will need your .muse file to isolate and repair. Also, we should be able to provide a solution once we identified image that is at issue. We may eventually need all active links to your .muse file, but we're going to start with just the .muse file. Sorry for the inconvenience.

If the file is larger than 20 MB you can send it by using a service like Adobe SendNow, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc. (if you use a service, please include your email address in the body of the message back, given that some services do not include in the sharing invitation they send.) Thank you.

  • A page is not export as HTML

I recently exported my HTML site to my GoDaddy FTP. But there was a problem. I looked into the problem and found a possible error. That is, when I export my site as an HTML element, one of my pages (homepage) doesn't seem to export. I can't find in my files.

You should see the index page in the files which is the home page.

When you create a new site, the first page in the map view is the index.html page. In Muse, you can check which page is the index page in section "Page Properties". Usually the first. Check this short video on how you can check the file names: http://jingsite.businesscatalyst.com/jing/2013-03-12_0405.swf

The name of file (as shown in the short video above), is the name that the pages are exported with. The pagenme is the name that you see on the page, as noted in this screenshot: http://jingsite.businesscatalyst.com/jing/2013-03-12_0411.png

For all other pages, the file name is usually the same as the name of the page (it is by default and you can change), with the exception of the index page. The index page, you can change the name of the page to soemthing else, however, the file name will always remain index.html. This cannot be changed, which is the reason why you will find it grayed out in the section "Page Properties". "

  • Large gaps appearing between the content when exporting to HTML

    Good afternoon

I'm relatively new to Muse and I'm evaluating whether to take out a subscription, but this problem made me very frustrated. I have very large gaps appearing between content in my drawings, causing the site to look terrible and not anywhere near what it looks like Muse.

I've seen this error reported earlier on the forums, and I checked and cannot see what "hidden boxes" or "content 0' causing this bug. Please look at my screenshots to get an explanation of the problem.

That's what I see in Muse, it seems relatively clean and I love how it appears.

    Hello

I checked the file, you used the width of the browser 100% for white rectangles that includes content, the issue was that same content was placed in Master and who was at the origin of the page elements cause the problem.

I deleted the duplicates of the homepage which is already included in the master page.

There were also a few rectangles that are hiding the items you have placed in homepage, once we remove that everything gets fixed.

You can download the file here:

  • How to export the HTML with size in percentage

I created html slices in my cs4 fireworks png file. now I'm exporting to html file. When I open it in dreamweaver cs3, the slices are tabulated in size in pixels, but I want to be in percentage (so that my website could adapt to any resolution) (I don't want to not select all the tables, image everything calculate its size in percentage and edit by dreamweaver one).

My answer doesn't really :-). FW cannot export as centered or percentage table. Your options are to build the page itself in DW or you can try the export as CSS and Images. I recoemmmend you read about this export process if you want to try if given that a certain State of mind to creating CSS based pages using Fireworks.

I recommend also to download and install the update CSS and Images export script:

  • Keynote with GIF exported as HTML > gif plays not

I really hope you can help me.

I'm trying to develop a data base info with cross pages related, photos and videos, I decided to use invisible pixels to maintain the small package.

When I export the Keynote to HTML, index.html file works perfectly with everything, but it does not play the GIFs in Chrome, Safari, or Firefox.

The gif plays well in the presentation and I tried different, none of them like to be played in any browser.

Could someone please advise if this is expected behavior? There is nothing extra is that I need to make this work?

  • export bookmarks.html files

In Firefox 5 on the export of HTML files, two unnecessary items are included for each entry in the web page; namely, < TD > < A HREF = "http://www...". "ICON_URI ="... favicon.ico "ICON =" data: image / png; " Base64,... < /A >

These two elements (ICON_URI and ICON) this adds considerably the storage size of the bookmarks.html file that keeps growing wider.

These two elements are not necessary in my opinion. "" Please remove these two items: ICON_URI = "... favicon.ico" icon = "data: image / png;" Base64, of the bookmarks.html file structure; or at least give an option to include in the exported HTML file or not.

Fixed moderator code then it will show

You can remove these attributes with this bookmarklet, if you open the HTML file in Firefox via file > open a file.

    javascript:(function(){ var ls=document.getElementsByTagName('A'),l,i; for (var i=0; l=ls[i]; i++) {l.removeAttribute('ICON'); l.removeAttribute('ICON_URI');} alert('Cleanup Complete - Save as Web Page, Complete')})();

  • paragraph of export to HTML

I have a bunch of text that includes some character sets that correspond to HTML - example the degrees symbol entities. Is it possible to export the contents of a html paragraph so that HTML entities are treated by the conversion by a native function of ARE? And if not I'm hoping that someone took steps on it. My thoughts are that export to HTML manages this task so it must be buried in the DOM somewhere I saw there is a function where I can export section of an HTML document, and I could then enter the content of the text file and analysis footers header file - but it feels better just to have a function to handle it.

    Conceptually, that's what I hope:

// Input - Dalton’s Law of Partial Pressures
    var p = app.selection[0];
var pHTML = p.convertToHTML(); // Output Dalton’s Law of Partial Pressures

Export of JavaScript mapping files is adjustable and UTF8, which is also perfectly valid for HTML. ... You try to solve another problem?

But that being said, it is as easy to use a custom function to replace. Typing on my iPad so entirely from memory, but the general idea would be

    pHTML = p.replace (/ [\u007F-\uFFFF]/g, function (r) {return "& #" + r.charCodeAt (0) + ';' ;});}])

Unfortunately, whenever I export my site in HTML, it converts all web fonts, I used (I got of Typekit), in Helvetica when he gets a preview. The fonts must be Europa and Josefin light. I it is possible to export the html code?

    Hello

Yes, Muse gives you the ability to export the site in HTML format.

    • You must go to file > export to HTML format.
    • Select the folder where you want the site to export and muse will export all the required files (HTML, CSS, JS and active)

  • What is the difference between the two publish to ftp host and export as html in Muse?

What is the difference between FTP publishing and export as HTML in Muse? When I had some problems with missing assets, I exported as HTML and fixed it, but it didn't update on the layout of the phone or completely on the desk until I published on ftp. Assuming that perhaps export just updates the files on the server? Thank you

    Hi Brian,.

Site as HTML export will export just your Muse site on your desktop without making any changes to your site online, but when you select Publish to FTP, it publishes the changes you did for your website online.

Export to HTML format is mainly used when you want to use any external client to load your site on the server.

Refer to this document to better understand: Adobe Muse Help | Download a Site from Muse Adobe on a third-party hosting service

  • Muse stops working when it exports as html - and always at the end of 87%

    Hello

This morning I tried to "Export as HTML", my main site. However three times now, he put an end to 87% complete.

Now, I tested on another file of Muse and exported this one, yet once stop Muse to 87%.

So I don't think it's my muse files, but I think it's associated app.

Is there a topical around export as html?

    Thanks for any help.

Please send us one or both files .muse so we can attempt to reproduce the shot. It is likely that we will also need all the assets related (since that is probably where the shot), but let's start with a .muse file. Please send us the .muse file at [email protected] as well as a link to this topic. If the file is larger than 20 MB, you can use a service like Adobe SendNow, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc. (if you use a service, please include your email address in the body of the message back, given that not all services to include it in the invite sharing they send.)
