Cannot find a J2SE SDK installed

Hello

I installed SQL Dev 3.2.2 and when to run. I am asked to show java.exe.

Then I go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe

I get the error message:

Could not find an installed J2SE SDK.

Any solution?

Thank you.

You can read in the 3.2.2 release notes:

  • JDK support

    • Oracle SQL Developer 3.2 version comes with JDK 1.6.0_35. You can use the JDK download embedded or to connect to an installed JDK. Developer SQL supports a java version minimum of to a maximum java version 1.6.0_04 less than 1.7.

If you use the JDK 1.6 or

install the SQL Developer 4.0 version, it works with 1.7

Developer SQL requires a JDK to run (you are actually showing a JRE).

To set the location of the JDK to use for SQL Developer, you can add the next line with the path to a valid JDK installation:

    C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_18 SetJavaHome

Developer SQL must the JDK Java JRE not to operate successfully. Your path looks like a path for the JRE. There is a download of windows that comes with the Java developer kit.

  • Modeler data SQL cannot find the java sdk

    Hello

    I want to install 4.0.3 - 853 on windows xp 32-bit.

In the first inning, message "could not find a java sdk SE way...» »

I had already installed first jre 1.7.0_45 - as indicated on the installation notes page that produces this error message.

After reading other peoples problems I replaced it with the jdk 1.7.0_45 because the request for enforcement is the path to the java JDK home.

Still get the same message as above.

I tried to change the SetJavaHome in datamodeler.conf, but that didn't work or the other.

I tried pointing the Launcher to d:\oracle\java\jdk1.7.0_45 as d:\oracle\java\jdk1.7.0_45\bin and d:\oracle\java\jdk1.7.0_45\bin\java.exe all to nothing does not.

On a light off the coast of the chance - like cleaning the windshield when the car won't start - I installed SQL Developer 4.0.3.16.84 in case the treatment was slightly different.

    Same result

Very frustrating every previous version of the developer and grouped data with java maker has just installed in a few minutes.

All of the inspiring thoughts / solutions would be extremely appreciated

    Thank you

    Ok

It seems that - maybe - jdk1.7.0_71 high is needed and jdk1.7.0_45 is not acceptable whatever the installation notes which stipulate that jre 1.7 is suitable. Mind the same version of SQLDeveloper says he wants to 1.8, but seems to work very well with 7u71

I had stayed in 7u45 to minimize disruptions to the installation of 10g of shapes on the same machine which of course do not now

It's looking no doubt easier to get this working with 7u71 than the other way around.

  • Cannot find and original Windows install disks

I have an old Inspiron 530 of s that has Windows XP on it, and it came with Windows Vista discs as well, but I can't find them. I looked on the Dell site and have not found a place to order or download those, is it possible to do? If not, is there a place on the computer to do a factory reset in case I want to sell it?

Windows XP is the end of life so its not recommended to reinstall. You will not be able to download it or ask the Windows XP at Dell support. eBay is the only place to get media.

For Windows Vista you can download it from Digital River by following the instructions here:

  • Cannot find file - after you install apps googlemap in Simulator

    Hello

I use the Simulator (8120) to download the google card application using the browser integrated from the Simulator

the next day, whenever I try to run the Simulator, I always get this message saying file not found 'GoogleMaps.debug '.

Here is the screenshot of my error screen:

[URL =http://img504.imageshack.us/i/bbproblem.jpg/] [IMG] http://img504.imageshack.us/img504/2638/bbproblem.jpg [LINE] [URL]

the google maps work fine in any case (I just click on don't ask me), but keep this error msg appear whenever I have re-launch the Simulator...

    Thanks in advance.

I know this is trivial, but if someone could tell how to solve this problem, that would be greatly appreciated!

This message means that JDE can not find the Google Maps app debugging information and that you will not be able to debug. Of course, Google distributes debug info toghether with their application.

If you need to Google Maps or any other third-party on your Simulator application, I think that there is nothing you can do about it except to keep them by clicking on "don't ask again". If you do not need, the simplest is to use clean.bat to bring back the State of origin of the Simulator.

  • Cannot find CS2 series to install the CS3 upgrade version (* @*!) Yosemite)

    Hi all

Have to re - install my CS3 (old, I know, but still does the job) after having to wipe my hard drive after making the mistake of updating my OS to Yosemite... problem is that it was the upgrade version (due to first install CS2) now I have to enter my serial number CS2 - which I did not.

Still waiting for answer on the 'Chat' service (customer support is no longer 'fact' for this customer support), and nothing in my products in my Adobe ID page so a bit stuck at the mo!

    A popular solution

I don't know if it will work, but if you own CS2, then you qualify for the special version which is available now.  Maybe you can install that and then CS3 will recognize that it is installed.

As it is, if you try to install your own version of CS2 you wouldn't able anyway.  There is no available activation server.  You can read this about and how to get the special version at the following link:

  • XP cannot find the drive hard installing macbook

Install XP from ISO image, that I burned to a DVD.

XP then says «Setup did not all hard disks...» "can not continue then starts to do things.

I did google and install messages found of it during the nonmac - something about lack of drivers scsi... but everyone has got a solution for Mac?

    Cheers from Aus!

    Dave.

This has nothing to do with the Mac or your installation of Fusion software. This has to do with the type of virtual disk that is set when the virtual machine is created.

Merge (and other VMware products hosted) supported the virtual drive as SCSI (BusLogic of SCSI controller compatible) devices devices or IDE devices. What is probably happening (as noted by the previous posters), is that the virtual hard disk that is created is a SCSI hard drive. You can confirm this by opening the settings of the virtual machine, click drives, and note if it is IDE or SCSI disk to the virtual disk.

Since the Windows XP installation diskettes is not the SCSI driver required in them by default, you must do one of the following:

    • Inject the SCSI driver provided by VMware in Windows Setup (as you would with any other device that does not have a driver on the XP installation disc). The driver provided by VMware is on a virtual disk "inserted" in the floppy drive virtual drive (see VMware Fusion help on how to access the virtual floppy drive floppy image). From there, the process is exactly like the addition of a driver in a physical machine.  As says rcardona2k, using the Easy Install option automates this task for you.

    or

    • Make sure that your virtual machine has a virtual IDE drive. You don't have to completely recreate your virtual machine - you can take your existing, open its settings, click on hard disks, remove the existing hard drive and add a new hard drive with an IDE bus type (and other options and desired size).

For the record, the virtual SCSI hard drives perform a little better that the IDE, but you may or may not notice the difference.

  • When x 64 SDDM says "could not find an installed J2SE SDK to...» "what is actually sought?

First of all, please forgive me if this question has been answered before, but research in this new forum facilities are even more waste than the former, which is a feat that I thought not possible.

    Anyhoo.

I downloaded the 64-bit version of the data modeling software, which comes without JRE.

I installed JDK1.3.0.21.  Subsequently, I also downloaded and installed JRE 1.7u21.  However when I run datamodellerx64.exe for the first time he rushes with this message: "cannot find a J2SE SDK installed in C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_21\bin.     She also doesn't like C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin (to the title of the JDK installation) or. C:\Program Files (x 86) \Java\jre7\bin (the JRE installation)

    So which way really does?

I guess I could download and install the 32-bit version with integrated JRE but it would be a pretty sorry workaround solution.

    Cheers, APC

Post edited by: APC - just realised I had typed "with the JRE' instead of 'without', which is actually the whole source of the number.  DOH!

    Hello

Maker of data "with JRE" version includes only a 32-bit version, so if you want to run the Modeler data in 64-bit mode (using datamodeler64.exe in the folder datamodeler), you must provide your own 64-bit Java JDK.  It must be a JDK instead of a JRE.

The first time you start Modeler data, it must invite for the Java House.  You must select the java.exe file in a Java JDK jre\bin folder.

You can get it to ask once again by removing the line SetJavaHome to the datamodeler64.conf file in the datamodeler\datamodeler\bin folder.  (Mode 32-bit, you must update the file datamodeler.conf instead.)
