• cannot receive vCenter performance data

  Hello.

  I start with vFoglight to monitor my vCenter, and I can't receive vCenter performance data.

  I vFoglight hava installed on a host of Windows7 6.6.1. My vCenter is installed on a virtual machine and the operating system is Windows Server 2003. I Manager agent hava installed on vCenter host. I have a VMWarePerformance package deployed the host to vCenter and created an agent. The agent is active and data collting. But on the dashboard environment VMware, I see no performance information. There is only a single virtual centre with no performance data, and no there is no host ESX or Virtual Machines.

  I wonder if I need to deploy other cartridges or there is something that I have not properly config.

  Can someone help me?

  It is clear now that I have the same problem like SOL87716, my vmware host uses the Chinese language.

  vFoglight is a stand-alone noncompliance, this means that there is no single cartridge for download.

  I connected the support engineer and open a support case, and then I got a legacy vmware agent 5.5.8.1.

  After I installed it on my vmware host, I can receive performance data now.

• vCenter Web Client 6.0 U1B - users cannot see VM performance data.

  Our 6.0.0 U1b vCenter server and a Windows Server 2012.

  My problem is, the VM admins have access to their virtual machines, but when they go to look at the tables of performance they get the message...

  "Authorization to perform this operation was denied.

  "You do not privilege" system > read "on the server vcenter-name folder.

  They have the ability to turn their VM and they appear in their list.

  Any ideas?

  For historical data, I tried to follow this KB article . The problem is, I can't find him described configuration of "Advanced" tab/button

  Where can I find it or how to get the data on historical performance on the performance tab in the vSphere Client?

  What is your level of statistics on? I suspect it's only level 1 and therefore do not collect all counters. Increase to the desired level (I use level 3), but take note that this affects the performance and the size of the database.

• Historical performance of ESX data

  Hi guys,.

  Of in Vmware vCenter server, I produce a weekly report of the perfmance.  Call it the default report generated by the highlighting of the cluster, then clicking on the performance tab, and then change the scope from daily to weekly.

  We have recently disconnected two hosts critical vCenter for security reasons.  Now, we connect to them directly by using the host name.  The performance tab when connected directly does not appear to be the weekly report.

  My question is, if these ESX hosts are not considered the vcenter then is it possible to display the value of a week of the performance data?  Stand alone hosts even keep statistics of performance beyond 24 hours?

  No, of course. vCenter stores data on the performance for a while, but only for the short period of time, detailed information and the information sheets aggregated after expiry of the specified period. But vCenter is a Management server, this is the main purpose is to manage and provide basic functions of monitoring real-time performance.

  For example, why I love Veeam Monitor - it can aggregate Datastore IOPS load from multiple clustered virtual machines, while vCenter can show the burden of the current host only.

• No available performance data

  I had questions, get historical to display performance data.  I can see data in real time.  I've scoured the forums and knowledge base articles and found only one that is relvant.  However, it did not solve my problem.

  We run esxi4.1 update 2.  I have inhertitied this system since the previous Director of sys.  I think at a certain point, the database has been corrupted and the entire vcenter server was rebuilt with a new database.

  I can't find the error message in the vxpd.log files but when I run the query "select count (*) from vpx_hist_stat1 ' it returns 0

  Originally the load_stats_proc procedure was not, adding that in there in accordance with article has no effect.

  8 all the jobs are there, and history shows that they are running successfully.

  Really, I don't know where to look for here.  Any help would be appreciated.

  I have not any article more KB than those already mentioned. However, I have seen this question several times before, and as a preventative measure, I would check levels of statistics within the parameters of your vCenter server for anything above 2, particularly given that you inherited from the environment. When the statistics of level 3 and 4 are used for long periods of time, it tends to cause this problem due to the extreme amount of measures which must be wound regularly.

  Ahmed,

  It's something should be set by your development team.

  If CUSTOM.pll has been changed, you can simply determine what has changed (unless it is documented), and you will need to contact your developers to see what has changed. If you have any other instance on the same level of Group of patches, then you could replace the CUSTOM.pll file and see if it helps.

  Forms must be compiled successfully on the layer node client (using Forms builder) before moving them to the server and compile again.

  In my opinion, a great place to start to learn and understand TimesTen is to make sure that when you install TimesTen, you install quick start-up equipment and then take the time to read and follow the examples. They have quickly you will fill in on several important concepts of TimesTen much better I can do in a post here in this forum. To try to answer some of your key questions:

  1. you can run Oracle DB, TimesTen on the same machine that the machine has sufficient resources. You try to run as well on a 32-bit windows with only 2 GB RAM machine probably isn't a very good idea. In general, TimesTen is installed in another machine to Oracle Db and communicates with it through SQL * Net. In general, TimesTen is deployedin application layer, usually on the mchine hosting the actual application.

  2 TimesTen is a comprehensive database full and is not in any way on Oracle DB. However, when you use the IMDB Cache of TimesTen feature you use the database in memory of high-performance data cached for faster access of Oracle Timesten.

  3 TimesTen is not "delivered" with Oracle DB and vice versa. They are separated from the products that are installed and configured separately. If you use TImesTen as a cache for Oracle DB, then you must install both (either in the same or different machines), and then configure the connectivity between the two. It's all covered in the quick start guides.

  4. If you are using SQL * Plus then you talk to DB Oracle (SQL * more don't work not today with TimesTen). Similarly, if you use ttIsql then you talk to TimesTen (ttIsql cannot connect directly to an Oracle DB).

  I hope that this helps to reduce confusion :-)

• When I opened tab check "send performance data," I don't have that choice of the tab. He wasn't there.

  I followed the instructions to check the firefox slowness and high utilization of the processor. Tools > options > advanced > General > check "Send performance data," but it there was not a box to check. All the other boxes were there. Just not 'send performance data."

• Where can I disable 'Send performance data to Mozilla' or if it is enabled?

  A few hours after the upgrade to Firefox 20, a bar has been shown at the bottom of the window telling me that some data was sent to Mozilla. the bar had a button called "Select what info" (or similar, I do not have a screenshot). By pressing the button doesn't not more opening the page root Options (the one in the row of icons at the top) and hidden bar.

  Help Mozilla on this option (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/send-performance-data-improve-firefox) has passed: it shows the old Options dialog box and refers to a checkbox control that no longer exists in Firefox 20.

  It seems strange, but no, I don't think that you can mark the date on the pictures. You can print the with a good date.

  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.  The first thing I would suggest running a virus scan.  Make sure you have no virus causing problems.  If you do not have an antivirus program, then you can download it free here: http://www.microsoft.com/Security_essentials/

  If there is no virus or it still does not work after virus cleaning, then start in safe mode and test from there.  Here are the instructions for Safe Mode.

  Cannot burn Audio or data on Media Player get an ERROR!

  Very well, I was burning cd I burned a couple and a third, I put the disc in and it showed that it is in their. I did my burn list and clicked on start to burn. He acted as if she was going to burn. It is on the first track for a minute or two then came red of lil DEPISTENT what ERROR which track this continues through all the tracks. I've ruined several discs. I tried to reduce the speed of combustion and that did not help at all. I also have problems with getting the DVD to read. Read some DVD movies and some will not. I did Diagnostics on the burner itself and it keeps coming back that it works correctly and everything goes well with the material itself. Please someone help me.

  2. don't you make changes before the show?
  3. when exactly the burn process stops?
   
  If the song is playing, but the burn process continues to stop when inspecting the song, try turning off the upgrade of the volume:
  1. click on the arrow below the burn tab, and then click More Options.
  2. turn off the volume apply upgrade across tracks on the CD check box and then click OK.
  3. try burning the CD again.
