  What is the brand and model of the computer?

  This problem may be caused due to bad/corrupt audio driver. A damaged, obsolete or incompatible driver can disrupt communication between the PC and the sound card.

  Method 1:

  Configure audio settings by following these steps:

  Right-click on the Volume icon in the Notification area. Choose devices to record or playback devices. In this window that appears with the right button on the devices listed as well as on a box empty to show more devices (devices disabled, etc.) and see the options available for configuring your sound.

  I'm trying to get the PP to record sound from a microphone. All entered record, including monitors audio studio and bounce internal audio meters from the mac, but nothing registers in PP. Here is the configuration:

  Shure SM58 dbx microphone preamp in. dbx on M-AUDIO Fast Track Pro xlr xlr plug XLR to xlr.

  Fast Track Pro connected to the mac pro via USB (directly, without hub)

  Studio monitors are Fast Track Pro runoff through ball. lines 1/4.

  Prefs Pro Prem audio material is set on Fast track pro

  Prem Pro Mixer audio microphone enabled on the two track.

  It's the audio except Prem Pro. the counters are dead.

  I was thinking about running asymmetric RCA Red/White audio output of the MA Fast Track Pro for the inputs of analog cable in small groups on the intensity of Black Magic Pro Mac Pro internal card and see if that would work. Thought he had something to do with the Fast Track Pro is connected by USB.

  Final Cut Pro 7 records the audio mic, but it has been end-of-life, so won't use it for any position.

  When I try and save a screen cast, I get no audio - I get a warning 'Adobe Captivate must establish the audio and record levels of sensitivity to create the best audio quality possible. Want to continue his tests of noise levels?

  I hope that the nsaudio.dll trick will work for BasementJack.

  However, there is other information that might be relevant also. I had terrible audio problems myself and the hokey-pokey nsaudio.dll does not solve my own questions. What finally solve was to follow what is described in the below blog post.

  You must go to the location where your Lightroom Catalog is stored and remove the .lock (not the .lrcat file) file and then launch Lightroom.

  Very well, I was burning cd I burned a couple and a third, I put the disc in and it showed that it is in their. I did my burn list and clicked on start to burn.   If the song is playing, but the burn process continues to stop when inspecting the song, try turning off the upgrade of the volume:
  1. click on the arrow below the burn tab, and then click More Options.
  2. turn off the volume apply upgrade across tracks on the CD check box and then click OK.
  3. try burning the CD again.
