  I use Adobe Acrobat DC v15.0.2 Build: 116303 on Android version 5.0 on a Galaxy S5 Sport.

  I have problems with highlighting of text in a particular document, a study guide security + cert. On other documents, I've tried works fine on the phone of highlighting text. It's just that a document that has problems, it is a 942 pages, 39.7 MB file. And here is a picture with its security settings. Note that I can highlight text on this document on the PC just fine.   It's a PDF, encrypted, and we currently do not support any changes in a PDF is encrypted on mobile devices. We have taken it as a feature request and will try to add this feature in one of our next versions. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  Adobe/Acrobat Reader cannot perform text recognition; you will need Acrobat for that.

• Cannot move icons or highlighted text

  I just bought a new MacBook and can't highlight text using the trackpad or move normal icons with the 3 finger drag. I don't see anywhere in the settings to change that. I do something wrong after all these years?

  For all purchased from Pearson Education (www.informit.com) PDF ebooks I can't highlight text or make comments if you use Adobe Reader 16.3.154899 on my Android tablet. It does not, however, when I use Adobe Reader on my desktop running Windows.

  Is this a bug in the Android version of the Adobe Reader software?

  Your document can be encrypted because of security or a restriction of document settings.

  Acrobat Reader mobile apps (for iOS, Android, Windows Phone) have the known limit, where the changes cannot be saved to encrypted PDF documents.  As a result, users are unable to make changes (adding annotations or forms) for encrypted PDF documents.

  On the other hand, there is no such limitation in the desktop version of Acrobat Reader, Pro or Standard.

  I have a PDF brochure that I'm changing some of the text, but I'm in trouble I've ever had before.

  I will open the PDF file, select the Touch Up text tool and go to text that needs a few changes. I will highlight the text, but when I start typing, I get a message saying:

  I will try then to recognition of OCR text-> recognize text using OCR, but this message:

  I tried to convert it into an XML, convert it to PDF and fixed text. I will highlight the text and click on delete, but nothing happens. I'll try to add text and type it shows nothing type. The cursor moves as he types, but nothing does not display or change.

  It seems that you are using Acrobat 9.

  Highlight and change the color of the text is not the same thing!

  Adobe Reader can highlight text using the highlight tool.  This cannot be a real text, not 'text' on a scanned image.

  To change the color of text you need Acrobat.

  My printer HP PhotoSmart 7525 with Acrobat limited venus function when using the mode SCAN and choosing SCAN AS .pdf. I am able to add sticky notes to a digital file, but when I try to HIGHLIGHT TEXT, I get the change in the shape of the cursor (like to start highlight), but by dragging over the text has no effect.
