  Could check you under a user Documents > Adobe > Adobe Media Encoder > 8.0?  If "Presets" to this place is not a record, but a shortcut, please remove the "Presets" and revive the SOUL.  This may solve the problem.

  OK, you can try to import them into the bad module. Gifts (depending on where you have to) must be installed in a particular module. When you try to drag and drop a "Preset" on LR icon in your dock, it should automatically install in the right place.

• The use of bridge in the AE 2014.  Through courses in the classroom in a book.  All of a sudden cannot apply predefined settings.

  Get the error after effects 2014 trying to apply settings predefined in EI... Cannot import pipes.ffx: file not taken in charge or extension type.  I do what says the tutorial.  Go to animate - browse the presets - text - paths - pipes and then double-click.  This process has worked before in the other lessons, but all of a sudden everything stops and an error message.

  This is fixed in the 2014.2 effects after update (13.2), which is now available.

• Cannot import XDCAM EX video 1080i60

  I try to import XDCAM EX video 1080i60 in first Pro CS5, but I get an error message that says "codec missing or unavailable. I tried to uninstall completely and then reinstalling Premiere Pro. I tried to open the video without updating first, and when that does not work I tried to update, then opening the video. But it still does not work. Does anyone have ideas for another to know how to fix this problem?

  PS OK Videos in other formats for import. This format seems to be the only one having problems.

  The files are of SBDAs. I think that they were transferred directly to a Sony HD camera.

  Hmm... probably not. Sonys record directly to MOV with XDCAM EX format, as far as I know. The files have been saved either using a JVC camera (which records the XDCAM EX the MOV container), they have perhaps re-tensioned using the Navigator Clip of Sony (I think that), or they are the result of a Log and transfer in Final Cut Pro. No matter who he is, first expected to be able to import; I can make XDCAM EX vom to a JVC HM700 without problem, although they will not playback on the Windows desktop:

  You should be ready to go. There has been cases where the first update leads to return to a status of the trial, which has limited the formats that can be imported and played. In general, in this case, you will have the same error you see, and the absence of some presets (AVC-Intra, AVCHD, XDCAM, etc.) is a red flag that you are running in trial mode. If you do not see the list of presets here, let us know, and you will get some guidelines for uninstall/clean/reinstall first.

  That's the troubling part. The preset that you use for a particular sequence has no impact on what you can or cannot import and playback of a project, but if you are in test mode, you're at an impasse.

  Post back with the results of these tests.

  I followed the steps below:

  (1) all bookmarks in Safari to export to a file (file-> export bookmarks) HTML
  (2) import bookmarks into Firefox (bookmarks-> Show all bookmarks-> import and backup-> import bookmarks in HTML)

  Firefox seems to load the HTML file, but never bookmarks appear in Firefox.

  Any thoughts of why this is happening?

  You need to remove all the attributes of FOLDED into H3 tags with a text editor.
  
  Then the import should work.

• Cannot import photos from an SD card.

  We have just returned from holiday and having forgotten our SD card, we have reduced the quality of the image on the camera to 1.2 megapixels so that we could store as many photos as possible of our Kodak Easyshare C180 memory. When we returned, we all copied to the SD card and plugged on the F drive. He transferred four pictures and then gave us a message that the drive needed formatting, but when we tried to format it failed. We ended up formating the card after plugging in the camera and repeating everyhting. Plug the SD card in a second time, that we do not get the prompt to format but just a SD file that once we open both automatically and manually, stops responding. We cannot import, copy manually, or see one of the photos once plug us it into the drive, yet the camera bed map very well. I have a HP new with Windows 7.

  If you can still see the pictures on the display of the camera...
  It may be interesting to try to connect the camera to PC via USB
  Cable to see if you can download the photos...

  Once you have retrieved the photos... it may be worth trying
  format the memory card in the camera.

  I have pictures in my folder of photos I want to make a DVD. Some images are video clips with a file extension. MOV. When I open windows movie maker and click on "importt" I find my photo file and select one of the video clips and try ti import it. I get a message that says "cannot import that movie maker does not recognize the codec. What should I do to get this program to accept my video clips with the .mov file extensions?

  Thank you for posting.  You will need a 3rd party software program or conversion to convert .mov to another type of file that will be recognized by Movie maker.  There are a few conversion tools free availible.  You can use your favorite search engine to find some of them.

  I seem to have the same problem as tantoe but when I clicked on the link in your message, it took me to the page, but the person's recommendation was not good; It (don't remember the name) had two links to click & when I clicked on the two I was redirected to a page that says that the page could not be found.

  The song with that I have a problem is "I'm in love (with a killer)" by Jeffree Star &, as with all my other audio files that I did NOT have this problem with, is mp3 format. I have a video in mind with this song & pictures I saved star but Windows Movie Maker cannot import it.

  If there is anything you could do, advice you could give, I would really appreciate it. This is my favorite song by Jeffree Star & it drives me crazy not being able to import it into Movie Maker. :-/

  When you connect via a USB cable... go to... Start / computer...
  the phone should be listed as a drive letter. You should be
  able to access photos from there.
