Cannot import the audio of any type in Flash CS6 Pro

Hi all

I have recorded voice over using hearing and try to import the audio files in Flash CS6 - the problem is that I get the error "one or more files were not imported because there was a problem to read the.

I tried a multitude of various parameters during the recording of the hearing, including the types of alternative files, all with the same result.  To test yet, I tried to past audio recordings used in other flash videos and I get the same message.  Could someone post ideal settings so I can test that vs have to try each setting at random from there?  I'm running out of options (and sanity!) at this point.  Thank you

RESOLVED - this issue has something to do with Windows 7.  I came across a thread where someone had a similar problem.

Turns out that 64 - bit Windows 7 users MUST have Quicktime and iTunes installed for audio works correctly with hearing and Flash.  Flash gives constant problems without it.  Now if only Adobe would update their mistake so users understood what was happening and the resolution is as simple 20-minute download/installation of the e-mail software, life would be much easier for some of its user base.

Hoping that it happens sooner rather than later.  Hope this post proves useful in the future

  • Cannot import the selected file. Refer to the documentation...

    Hi all

Of the very basic knowledge on Adobe products please bare with me! We have deployed v8 Adobe Captivate our users to test and when they try to take a PPTX file and turn it into an interactive e-learning courses, it fails with the message:

"Cannot import the selected file. Refer to the documentation to ensure that you have installed the correct version of microsoft office.

We have the SP2 of Microsoft Office 2010 (x 86) installed Adobe Captivate 8 before us. We tested and this works if the user uses a PPT file (2003 / 2007 Compatible file) which is a workaround but isn't ideal because they then lose the functionality of 2010!

Anyone can confirm that Captivate 8 supports Office 2010, or this is exactly why we have this problem?

V9 does support Office 2010 if this is the case, as if a patch is not solve this problem, then we recommend the customer to go to the product V9. One thing is that we use 32-bit with 64-bit Captivate Office but the fact that it works with legacy PPT I doubt it is the origin of the problem.

    Thank you!

As far as I saw, 9 Captivate does not handle this better than 8 Captivate.  But you can check it out yourself by downloading and installing the Cp9 trial version and see if that will import your PPTX.

A few other suggestions for you:

    • Make sure you run Captivate (regardless of version) using the command run as administrator.
    • Also set PowerPoint to be launched using run as administrator.
    • Don't try to import a huge PPT or PPTX.  Do your tests on something small, say 10 or 20 slides.  This will alleviate the question if you really do turn into is a matter of PC resources.
    • Test with PPTs very sober.  Captivate imports can stumble on some objects incorporated into the PPT Slides.  So just having pictures, text, and anything else in your PPT test.

  • Satellite A300D-15B PSAKCE - cannot install the audio driver for Win XP 64 bit

    Hi all

This is my first post here after hidden during the last week or so, my hope is that somewhere it helps and hope so!

I have a wonderful Toshiba A300D-15B PSAKCE with RAM 4 GB/O, but I suffer from some problems RESEARCH Holy function cannot resolve. I use this laptop as a box of development for uni/work unfortunately...

After a complete nightmare and Vista32, Vista64, I decided to go back to windows XP32, however this custom install, continues to claim a failure of a CRC file after (and Yes, that's with SATA in IDE mode and a disc of XPSP2)

I decided that I really DON'T want to goback to Vista, so installed Windows XP64. Now the first installation is very easy, I have the basic configuration, the chipset, graphic, network, CPU, usb, fine... except basic... and that's where I lost most of my hair... SOUND!

First try to install the results of the pilot of his failure, claiming the mmdriver.inf cannot be found or corrupted, obviously I checked, and yes there it is, downloaded pleasure the MMDRIVER. INF and placed it system32 and the installation always fails.

I also tried a "manual installation", in .inf files... which includes pilots XP32/64 and Vista 32/64 bit drivers, still the same
problem, the driver continues to not install. I am going bald. Exceptional drivers who moved there

audio/graphics drivers... Well well... off to try something I guess...

If there is no help or ideas, I'd appreciate it.

    Hello

The laptop seems to use the Conexant audio chip. So, you will need the right sound driver for Win XP 64 bit.
Unfortunately, the European driver Toshiba page provides the drivers for Win XP but I don't know if the pilots would cover the OS 64 bit as well m.

Anyway, what you need to know, is that you will need to first install the patches Ms.
The fix KB835221 and KB888111MS must be installed before installing the audio driver.
If you have tried to install the driver, then remove it from the Device Manager and update Windows XP first!

AFAIK that SP3 already contains these patches then perhaps you should install SP3 first before starting with the installation of the audio driver.

  • My mx6920 gateway upgraded to windows 7 now headphone works but no delegation cannot find the audio device

I recently updated my mx6920 gateway for windows 7 and now, for some reason any laptop speakers will not work. The headphone jack works though. I tried to install the Audio drivers high definition on the RealTek site and was unsuccessful because windows has taught me that the driver is not the right one for the type of windows. Even when using the compatibility feature, does the same thing that I tried to use the Sigmatel drivers from the site of the bridge. These drivers ended up with the same problem. I checked Device Manager and it indicates that the audio device works. Who should ask me why do I hear audio from the headphone jack, but not the laptop speakers.

any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated

  • Cannot delete the audio track in the timeline

    Hi all

Here's my problem: it is not the first time it happens, but to excerpts from different cameras, I'm completely unable to abandon the audio track.
In the source Panel the playbacks of normally with audio clips, but when it comes to insert the clip it does not work as if I'm falling all audio and video clip he simply inserts the video and if I try to drop just the audio it don't let me down anywhere.
Has happened on multiple devices and just on the first CC (I decided to switch to CS5 and I'm already regretting)
I tried to import the file in different ways (by drag/import/media browser), restarts first and pc and transcoding of other codecs, nothing works.

Anyone has any suggestions or has encountered the same problem?

    See you soon

    Hi Andrea,

I'm completely unable to abandon the audio track.

Try making sure that the source of A1 is connected to the A1 channel in the timeline panel, and then drag. More information: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/878527

  • Help! Cannot save the audio intelligible using AP 10 Audio (Please read for more details)

I am trying to record audio by using the Audio recording feature in Adobe Presenter 10. I'm using a USB microphone, but when I try to record, all I get is a lot of confusing noise. I tried recording using the parameters of "Mic" both "Line In", but neither yields anything intelligible (although the option of audio product line is just a little more intelligible). When I use the Mic setting and the box to "Check the input level", nothing happens to the "meter" as I read the test sentence - it seems that AP 10 does not recognize that I have even a connected microphone.

But here, this is where it gets particularly weird... I have no problem recording beautiful acoustic clear using this same microphone when I use the function of video recording of AP 10! Certainly, this does not seem to use some sort of separate component 'Add-on', but, again, if this component can recognize my mic, why not request 'base' of Adobe Presenter? (I also have no problems to import audio files, but it is something else entirely.)

Unfortunately, my company is not subscribe to an Adobe service contract (they are insanely expensive for what maybe once or twice a year thing) and I'm not allowed to buy a single support call (also very expensive). So, I hope that someone here might be able to help me, how I have helped so many people on similar forums in the past... I hope above all a kind of quick response, I am supposed to do the demonstration of this software to several potential buyers of this software in my organization and they are particularly interested in this specific feature piece (since they use AP to register a nickname-"podcasts" that employees can access from our Adobe server).

    Thanks in advance!

    Laura

P.S. If it helps, I use a laptop Lenovo running Windows 7 and uses Adobe Presenter 10 with PowerPoint 2010. I use a Plantronics DSP400 USB microphone (which, as I said, works very well with the AP video recording application).

Okay - problem solved. Here is what happened this morning...

I started my computer cool (as I do every morning... I always stopped at night). I plugged my microphone before start PowerPoint at all. I started to PowerPoint, grew up in the presentation, I wanted to do the test recording on and you click on the folder option in the Audio section. This time, while the level control came and I talked, it was record green so I thought, "Yay - fixed problem! Not so fast... When in fact I recorded something and played again, it was still confusing and unnecessary. Then I thought: "maybe he's still looking to pick up the audio from the built-in microphone, rather than the USB microphone," so I pressed the button muting the microphone on my laptop (hardware button). I noticed presenter thingy recorder shows the mute symbol, who confirmed that he thought it was the microphone should I use (even if, in the settings, I had the USB microphone than 'active'). So I went to the control panel sound and actually disabled the microphone press the mute mic (that I had supported before) equipment to uncheck the mute. Then when I returned in the presenter and tried to save again, voila!, it actually saved my USB microphone and everything was kitties and rainbows!

So, if someone else is the same problem and reading this thread (which is the main reason I came here to document all of this), the solution is in fact completely disable the microphone and, possibly, also make sure to connect your USB microphone before launching PowerPoint. (Not 100% sure that the second part is necessary, but it certainly cannot hurt...)

  • Import the audio... What are the advantages and disadvantages for the import drag vs click on the box?

It is perhaps an obvious question for most, but I was wondering is there a preference there for importing audio to slide vs click box? I am audio importer at each of my slides, but before I get to deep into it, I was hoping that someone could clarify this point?

Basically there is the audio option in the menu tab or the audio add on the property box. They seem to do the same thing, but is there a difference? I feel like I may be missing something obvious and don't want to have to go back and correct if I chose the wrong option.

    Thank you in advance.

Objects have any defined transition?  If so, try to set without transition and see if it appears.

In addition, check what invisible objects layers are on.  They can appear in another object.  I have found that sometimes Cp will show the object as being on a top layer, even if it is not.  If you select the object and use the toolbar option to place at the front, which can sometimes be displayed not correctly, even if his diaper doesn't seem to change.

  • "Audio Codecs disappear, error message" you cannot compress the audio. "

    Original title:audio codecs disappear

Most of my codecs for encoding have disappeared or, on the contrary, is hidden and stopped working.

I have this same problem on all my machines running Win XP Pro SP3 which makes me think that it may be caused by a recent patch.

If I go to control panel, sounds and audio, hardware devices (!), the properties of Audio Codecs, I see all the codecs correctly listed there:

    -Codec Audio IMA ADPCM
    -Codec Audio Microsoft ADPCM
    -Microsoft CCITT G.711 Audio Codec
    -Microsoft GSM 6.10 Audio Codec
-Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec (Pro)
    -DSPGroup True speech
    -msg723.acm
etc. up to a total of 15

But when I try to record any audio file with one of my audio programs, most of the codec options have disappeared and I only have the following choices:

    -GSM 6.10
    -IMA ADPCM
    -Microsoft ADPCM
    -PCM

All the others have disappeared, including MPEG Layer-3.  This happens in all audio processing programs, including Fraunhofer MPEG Layer-3 producer who has now NO compression option.

It seems that compression codecs are still there, but somehow Windows Live upward when reported availability for audio programs.

Most of the audio programs sound real need until I can choose the compression settings and then, as I say, no choice of compression ACM don't appear.

    BUT

VirtualDUB lets me select the compression settings before even I have all selected audio real and in this case all the codecs and options appear. So I can choose to compress using MPEG Layer-3 and all the choices appear.  But when I select then any specific audio stream disappear all the choices.

It is as if Windows says "you can't compress THIS audio. I wonder if it is that something caused by a recent patch because it happens in all my computers (all running win XP Pro SP3).  I wonder if it may be something related to incorrect DRM restrictions.

I can't compress audio in any of my machines.  Help, please.

Well, I think I finally thought to it and the problem is not with the operating system or audio program, but with the audio from the source itself.  Apparently, the video recording reports audio as having a non-standard 11024 instead of the standard 11025 sampling rate and this is sufficient for audio programs to see it does not match the standard 11025.  If I have to "convert" the audio to 11025 then the problem will not occur.  I hope it's resolved then.
