  I can't go in safe mode or in disk utility.

  Any suggestions on what to try?

  Hello Atul and thanks for responding.  Adobe support seems a little disjointed because I offered this solution through several cats and now this forum.  Ultimately what worked for me was adjusting the permissions of read/write on the Application Support folder.

  1. open Macintosh HD

  2. open a library

  3. Select the Application Support folder.

  3 right-click and select information.  -Pop-up is displayed.

  4. click on the padlock on the bottom right pop to unlock (user will have to enter the admin password)

  5. last section, under sharing & permissions, ensure that the administrator and the user tries to install "writing &" can.

  6. for the administrator and user, click options in the lower part (looks like a gear) and choose "apply to the elements included...". »

  Retry installation...

  I use Vista for about a year with the monitor and card, I now.  Although he gave no warning, just deleted monitor and turns off.  I borrowed a XP installation until I can get Vista working and the monitor works fine.

  I am trying to install Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP mode on my computer toshiba laptop. The compatibility tool h/w PC said that my PC is h/w support, assisted virtualization (BIOS and processor support for virtualization extensions).

  I installed Windows XP Mode.

  I am trying to install Windows Virtual PC on my Tablet RTM of Windows 7 Enterprise Edition 32 bit and it fails with below:

  I tried several options suggested as
  (a) restarts - did not work
  (b) netstop wuauserv, wicks, rename the softwaredistributionfolder, netstart these services (the two) and try windows complete update - windows update has started but I still couldn't install the KB958559
  (c) try cmdprompt in a high of UAC cmd window.

  I was wondering if there is something else that needs to be done to install this package KB.

  Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and start safe mode.  Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan mode without failure.  To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode.  Then run a complete system scan.

  Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log.  To make, click Start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools.  Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

The problem is that I need very high resolution for imaging, but illustrator won't import my files. I use ArcGIS 10.3 on Windows 10 and Illustrator C4 with OS X 10.11.1 (El Capitan). I was not able to import any .tiff file into illustrator (is this possible?) and I get "cannot take place due to an error" or "the file is too big" errors when I try to put .jpeg, .png, .ai files exported from the GIS. I think that the problem is due to the differentoperating systems, rental However, can I open and edit (resize etc.) files in preview without any problem, so there is also a problem with Illustrator.   Update your AICS4 to something with the ability to access more than 3 GB of memory RAM as CS6 or above. You'll never work with CS4, at least not to the resolution as you seem to think you need. Indeed, you could probably use 150ppi or the bottom of the poster and not obviously nothing to lose. And for the record, I worked for 17 years for the USGS working with ARCGIS and AI.
