Cannot install flash after uninstalling winxp sp3

Current Firefox, IE8, Chrome current

Flash would not be updated or uninstall correctly. Removal tool adobe used, to get him out.

now will not install flash.

You know what?  I got a deal on another forum (bleepingcomputer.com) due to an infection/rootkit. Last week, we have been dealing with and clean up steps. As recent as yesterday, Flash dropped to 50%.  I was recording a session to present today and this is! the installation worked.

Maybe it's a good idea to suggest that this problem might have been caused by an infection.

Otherwise, please close this ticket.

  • Cannot install flash after complete uninstall

    Hello

Here's my problem: I installed debugger flash a few days ago and I wanted to withdraw today. I have not found any method to do, so I decided to uninstall the flash player and install it again.

I ran uninstall for the adobe flash site, but that did nothing. I did a restart PC run the uninstall program, and then deleted all the flash files in appdata, system32 and sysWOW64. I had to use the unlocker program to delete the files in system32 and sysWOW64. After all this, I restarted my PC and I wanted to install the last update that generated an error message that says this Windows8-RT-KB2982794 - x 64 update is not compatible with my PC or something like that. Then I uninstalled the windows KB2982794 update it will solve my problem, but it didn't because now I have hope, and the error message saying something like: "this update is not available for this computer.

Additional info: browser latest IE10 on Windows 8, also when I check the tab 'manage addons' in Internet Explorer there is a Shockwave Flash object under the line is not available (I can't exactly call it that since my IE not in the English language.) and I can confirm that flash does not work in Internet Explorer now.

Furthermore resettlement ie10 would solve my problem?

Any help would be appreciated and sorry for my English.

    Hello

Sorry for the delay to return to you.  I have followed with several people here for Best Director to point you to.

Given that Microsoft integrates Flash Player in Internet Explorer, Flash Player files are locked by Microsoft to not be deleted.  Remove messed in Internet Explorer, you encounter, and simply uninstall/install IE don't solve the problem.

Microsoft has a tool, the File Checker system, which scans the system for corrupted Windows system files and restores them.  The instructions to achieve are displayed using the tool File Checker system to repair missing or corrupted system files.  I have not run this tool before and I'm not familiar with it.  In addition to the "related articles" and "the community" links on this page with more information about the tool, you can Google "sfc.exe" and more information on this subject.  It is a tool from Microsoft, not Adobe tools.  If you have problems running the tool, I recommend you click on the "Request response Desk" link on this page to get help from Microsoft.

Good luck and I hope this solves your problem.

  • Impossible to get updates of Windows to work and cannot install anything after upgrading to SP3

After the upgrade to SP3 I met many problems. Any time I go to install it I get a Windows Installer error is not installed (even if this is the case) and I have to go to start/run and type Services.msc and the go to the installer of windows and right-click on it and select start and then install what I was tring to do.  Windows Update will not update and I tried to restart the installer and it does not work.  I tried the auto fixes but cannot get them to work because they will not install either or will not run.  I had to uninstall Windows Defender as I am unable to update the definitions it is basically useless.  All this started after I did a full cleaning of the computer and then downloaded the original Windows XP that I bought from Dell.

    Try this:

The fix for this according to XSplit support has been download and install the plugin FP22 Opera and chrome PAPPI. I got it to install the first time. However trying to solve problems, I uninstalled it to attempt to reinstall now it will not reinstall little matter what I do. Any suggestion?

The Adobe_ADMLogs and the files are created as soon as the UAC dialog box closes, in the user's TEMP directory.  It is very curious that the files are not be created on your system.

You try to use the installer in offline mode, posted at the bottom of the problems Installation | Flash Player | Windows 7 and earlier versions page in the section "problems"?  It should work.

  • Cannot install CS6 after uninstalling Windows 10

I uninstalled CS6 due to problems that could not be fixed. CS6 is a full version, not an update.   I downloaded the 2 files appropriate for Windows (.7z or .exe). for CS6 (x 64) on the Adobe website, rebooted the system, and then ran the CS6 .exe as Administrator file.  First, he asked a destination folder and said that if it has not already been created it would create a new.  The location of files that it is was:

    C:/users/ralphjramirez/desktop/Adobe CS6 / Photoshop

I said OK and the status is mounted until the end of 100%, but then abruptly interrupted with the following error message:

"Theproblem has occurred during extraction of files.  Check the amount of space available on your computer and the rights to write to the destination folder"

I tried to run once more that ends up with the same error.  I don't know what to do.  I have a lot of space, 342 GB available.  As an administrator, I thought would eliminate any requirement for write privileges.  I thought it would be Norton causing the problem, so I stopped and represented the .exe file, but got the same results.  I'm not technical, so I'm at a standstill.  Need help because I have no idea how to proceed.

    Kind regards... Ralph

Terri and all post them here.

I was chatting online with the Adobe Help Center technology via link Terri and after about an hour, the decision was made to download files using Chrome.  Now, I thought that would help, but decided to give it a try.  Bommmm, you guessed it;  the installation worked perfectly.  I now have CS6 running.  I tried to download the updates by clicking on updates on the CS6 Panel Help updates, but nothing happens.  I'll check the adobe quote updates but now I'm a happy camper.  Why Firefox does not download all files vs. Chrome I don't know but right now I don't care, all glad it worked.

THANKS TO EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY TO TERRI.

    Best regards... Ralph

  • Cannot install Flash Player as "only one version of this application can run.

I had problems with Flash Player earlier today and decided to uninstall it (from Windows 7) and reinstall from scratch.  I uninstalled and tried to reinstall it but now I get the following message appears: cannot install Flash Player as "only one version of this application can run" I tried to uninstall I checked to see if there was still a program to install but it does not exist. I checked my files in Windows and there are several files called Install_Flashplayer _16x32... files. I assume that they are created whenever I tried to install Flash Player.  I thought to delete many files install FlashPlayer but decided to ask for help before taking this step.

    Browser: Firefox 35.0.1

    Windows 7 Home Premium

    64 bit OS

I managed to install Flash Player and it works. I deleted all the installation files except one who did not want to be deleted, then I started to install Flash Player, until I got the message about the conflicting demands. I then used the Ctrl + Alt + Delete to open the Task Manager, then closed all tasks except the Flash Player one. Flash Player finished the installation. Then, I opened a TV Player in Firefox and was able to play a program that requires a Flash Player.

Why don't I have to use the Task Manager to close applications. I don't remember the last time that I used it ut think that it was a year ago, when my computer would not shut.

  • Illustrator update will not install even after uninstall and try again several times.

Updated Illustrator install, even after uninstalling (using the application "Adobe Illustrator CS6 uninstall" and a new attempt (using Adobe Application Manager} repeatedly.)) Now I can't open AI CS6 at all.

The error message that I get in the request handler is:

"Application not found. Restoration in the case where it has been trashed/moved to another volume. "Reinstalling the application otherwise (U44M1P2B).

    Help!

Can you please try to install Adobe Application Manager of http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774.

If this does not work then the safest course would be to remove all Adobe Creative Software using the uninstaller programs located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.  This should then remove the Adobe Application Manager folder also within public services.  Once the software is completely uninstalled and Adobe Application Manager is deleted, then you should be able to reinstall it from https://creative.adobe.com/.

  • Cannot install Flash 11 in Firefox

    Hi all.

After several attempts of frustrating to get flash install, I wanted to post here to try to get assistance.

Im running Windows 7 Pro SP1, 64-bit and try installing flash on Firefox 7.0.1.  I can download the installer from here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and it allows me to download a file named install_flashplayer11x64_mssd_aih.exe.  I tried to run this file under my normal account and as an administrator.  It will be run the file, bring up the UAC dialog, and then that's it.  There is no other box popping up, no progress bar or whatever it is in the same direction.  However, if I open the Task Manager this process is still running, but does some cycles CPU.  It shows also that the process of his running the installer as a 32-bit (indicated by the * 32 at the end of it in the Task Manager) if relevant.

Nothing happens, and I did not flash.

I purged my temp folder to remove the additional installation files copied it, I launch the program uninstall and rebooted several times and no dice.

I'd appreciate any insight really and/or assistance that can be offered by anyone.  I'm happy to make an additional contribution if this can help get this resolved.

    Thank you!

My apologies for cluttering the jury!

  • Cannot install Flash Player for Firefox

I am running Windows XP it with SP4.  IE and the latest version of Firefox are installed.

In IE and Firefox, trying to install Flash Player with the standard binding, I get an error message in a small window opens, the title "getPlus + (R): error," text 'Cannot load a GUI,' box 'OK '.  I got this by locating a stand-alone installation for IE, who uploaded a file to install it on my computer.  However, this does not work in Firefox, even when access to this link from Firefox.  The file runs, but Flash Player still shows as not installed in Firefox.

I can't find any program separate stand-alone installers for Flash Player for Firefox.

This error seems to be generated by the Adobe getPlus product installer.  My thought was to uninstall the Adobe installer and try again.  However, the Adobe installer appears in the list of installed programs, accessible via the Control Panel, BUT by clicking on the button to uninstall the program does nothing.  The program is still present.  I can't find a location for the installer from Adobe on my hard drive.

Hi Chris, I'm very well know the DLM/getPlus/getPlusPlus/NOS. :-) I see that you are too much now :-) Most users have no problem removing DLM to Add/Remove/programs and features through Control Panel.

There are a number of things to check. Using IE, go to tools > Internet Options. Click settings, and then view the objects. There that anything appearing on the above?

When you tried to delete the DLM, were using the administrator account?

Now, using the start SEARCH, enter in the "part of the name of" gp.ocx and note where it is and right click and delete it. Then, run a SEARCH on gp.inf and do the same thing.

Did you uninstall Flash Player using the Adobe uninstaller program then try again to install FP in FF?

I have some info Add ' l on the DLM, etc and will try to get it.

    Thank you

  • Cannot install microsoft updates or get SP3 of XP - error Ox80240036

    Why can't I install updates?  I get error Ox80240036

    Hi ppddjj,

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         (Numbers KB) updates you install?

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2: Put the computer in a clean boot State to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state of the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    (a) click Start, run.

    (b) type msconfigand click OK.

    (c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    (d) click the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

    (e) when you are prompted, click restart to restart the computer.

Method 3: You can also manually install updates (KB number) by downloading from the Microsoft Download Center.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx

Method 4: Follow the steps in the article.

Please don't refer me to the previous post on this topic, I think I tried them all.

After uninstalling Google Chrome, hyperlinks in MS Outlook will be notwork.  I tried most of the things recommended in the old forum posts, but they all seem to be prior to Windows 7.  Nothing worked and I'm looking forward to a solution.  HTML file associations, etc are all in IE9, Chrome has been uninstalled, edited registry (even though I'm not an expert there) IE9 release candidate has been downloaded and installed.  I must respond to a window asking whenever I click on a hyperlink asking how to open the file so I have to manually associate with IE.   I am running:

These are all the patches file association that I have seen used before [Please note that control panel, default programs option seems to be more effective than the Open with dialog - but keep in mind that I'll just on what I learned from other threads that I have not had this problem myself].  You have already tried many of them, but I included all because I'm not sure you checked & that you do not.

  • Cannot install flash player, download run script error: could not set correctly - undefined reference innerHTML or zero

Unable to download/install Flash Player, download script error: cannot properly set innerHTML reference undefined or null

    Hello

The script error is caused by the DPI setting on your system.  If the DPI setting is set to 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% Setup returns the script error. If your DPI setting is set to something else, please set it to one of these and Setup online should work.  To check/change the DPI setting:

    1. Start the control panel and go to control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display
    2. In the left menu, select set size custom text (PPP)
    3. In the Windows Setup custom DPI select 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% in the menu drop-down
    4. Click OK
    5. Select apply
    6. Open a session/disable
    7. Online installer should now run without displaying the script error.

A fix for this should be released in the coming weeks.

  • Cannot install Flash Player (Mac)

I'm trying to install Flash Player on a Mac of Yosemite (10.10.1). Whenever I try to open the installation program, the icon appears in the dock but no user interface never appears and activity monitor describes the application as being insensitive, forcing me from smoking it. I also tried to use the installer to "Flash Player for Safari and Firefox - NPAPI" linked to the Troubleshooting Page and while it provides a user interface and allows me to accept the license agreement it freezes the same way when I accept the terms on the first screen and successful install.

It is a clean installation of Yosemite, which is not even 24 hours old. The only other things installed on the Machine are the Manager package Java and Apple Homebrew development of command line tools.

Thanks much for the ideas that you guys can provide.

I just noticed that there is an update for Mac OS X after posting this (10.10.2) and, of course, that corrects the problem. Why does not install Flash on 10.10.1? It's a mystery.
