Installation no disk download driver not work.  Error message: "a caller of DriverPackageInstall must be a member of the Administrators group to install a driver package".

  • Cannot print wireless officejet 6600

    Hello

I can't print wirelessly with my officejet 6600. I do not use a router, just connecting straight to printer for windows 7 pc. I can connect to the wireless printers, buy when I try to print it gives an error message saying it could not communicate. any help?

    Thank you!

Hi there, you WON'T be able to print wirelessly, if you do not have the printer connected to a router. If you have the printer connected to the PC, you will be able to print USB.

  • Cannot install wireless Officejet Pro 8000

My wireless printer worked very well. Then it stopped working. I would like to send a document (from Notepad) to the printer & it would just sit there. Normally I would be able to fix this stuck printing by selecting the printer & using "Troubleshoot". But it does not work.

I tried to uninstall & reinstall several times. I tried the wash cycle (4 times running). I tried Print doctor. Tried to uninstall manually by the instructions from HP and no luck.

I was able to install USB but cannot convert or add a wireless printer.

I get the error that does not match the 0.0.0.0 gateway. I tried to set it manually, but it does not recognize my router name.

I am running Windows 7 on a Dell laptop. My printer displays a web page to 192.168.1.4. The blue light is on radio. My router is Netgear N600 Dual. I am connected to the network & connected via USB to the printer.

I had 3 "blue screens of death" for a few days before my printer no longer works. I'm unable to use system restore to a previous restore point when my printer process worked.

I tried to follow another post on the forum to change the gateway, but I can't seem to do. Help, please!

Right, I solved my problem (after 20 hours of troubleshooting), I was able to get Print doctor to run & used to check the firewall. My Norton has been disabled, but Microsoft has been activated. I have disabled the Microsoft Firewall & tried ("add a printer") of the control panel. It worked! I now have a USB Officejet 8000 & an Officejet 8000 wireless!

  • Cannot install updates OfficeJet L7555

Try to download and install the updated software (newer, full feature) for my OfficeJet Pro L7555 off HP web site, but I'm told that my office of a1540n HP Pavilion (XP sp3) is already equipped with latest software and I should just plug. I ran the HP troubleshooting site + 20 times with a result of "Fatal Error" and "MSI. MSI_BPD_SCAN' and have deleted ALL (probably too much) software HP printer via the control panel. I have had this problem before and (mistakenly) successfully resolved but recently reformatted my HD, lost information on the repair and don't recall the fix. Help!

    Hello mikeez

Lets try to run the L3 or L4 uninstall this should remove all traces of printer drivers. Then, I would try to run installation again and see if you still get the same errors.

    Of the Original installation CD:

    1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup

    2. open my computer and click right then on the CD from the drive and select open

    3 open the Util folder

    4 open the CCC folder

    5. If you have an HP computer, run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have a computer not HP, run the L4uninstall.exe

    6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup

    8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

9 download drivers and full software features

    Officejet L7555 software

    10. run the download to reinstall the printer

If the software has been downloaded and extracted to your system:

    1. type % temp % in the field of race

    2. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)

    3 open the Util folder

  • Cannot install software OfficeJet 6500 on Windows 7

The printer has been on my home network to a XP installation.  My new Win 7 PC recognizes the printer and print to it, but I need to complete (including the centre of Solution) of scanning software, etc.  So I downloaded the software Win7 OJ6500vE709_Full_14.exe as recommended; However, it will not install.  The first few times I ran the .exe it extracted, an Assistant came, and then the wizard says that it could not find a file.  Then I went into computer management and asked to update the drivers, pointing to the directory of the downloaded software, and Windows said that she already had the best driver.   Now if I rerun the .exe it checked, and when this is done there is the message "this application has requested execution to terminate in an unusual way."

I don't know what to try next.

  • OfficeJet 6600: officejet 6600 will not be installed

I have a computer that is running Windows 7 (updated) with a 6600 Officejet attached via the USB port. It worked fine for 3 years, BUT I had to reinstall the printer 7 times in the last 2 weeks. When I turn off the computer at night and turn on the next morning and I begin to print something, I get "no printer installed." It SEEMS to make no difference if I turn the printer off or leave it on when I shut down the computer.

    Any ideas?

    Rusty

    Hi @RustyDHH,

Thank you for reaching out to the forums! I understand that whenever the computer is restarted, you must reinstall the printer software. I'd love to help you.

I have provided a few steps to try to see if we can solve this to happen again in the future.

Here are the steps to completely uninstall the printer from the computer.

In devices and printers, click once on any icon listed and select the printer at the top of the display server properties, click the driver tab.

Select the 6600 Officejet then click on delete, the pop up dialog box.

Select Remove driver and driver package, click OK, click Yes in the confirmation pop up message. (if they are not in the list, it's very well)

Then in the printers and devices window, right-click and select remove device for Officejet 6600 drivers.

Unplug the USB cable from the computer.

    Uninstall the printer software.

    Restart the print spooler:

Click Start, run, type admin in the search programs and files box and then click on the list management tools.
    Double-click Services.
Right click on print and left spooler, click Properties.
Click on stop to stop the print spooler.
Click Start to restart the print spooler.

Run the Microsoft Fixit Tool: diagnose and automatically repair Windows files and folders problems.

    Reregister Windows install:

    1. Quit all programs.

    2. Click Start, run, type msiexec / unregister in the Open box and click OK.

    3. Click Start, run, type msiexec/regserver in the Open box, and then click OK.

    4. Restart the computer.

Disable all startup programs and temporarily disable the Antivirus software. There might be something running in the background cause of conflicts. How to use MSCONFIG. Click the Startup tab, and then click Disable all.

Make sure that you are connected to the computer with Admin rights, and then reinstall the printer using the latest drivers. Here is the link: 6600 Officejet HP e-All-in-One Printer series - H711 full feature software and driver.

If the problem is resolved and that you appreciate my help, please click on the button "Accept as Solution" and the "Thumbs Up". Let me know how make you out. See you soon!

It says software Open HP printer, select actions scanned, and then select Manage scan of the computer.

    HI @DZ4

You can download and install the software COMPLETE features of HP printing for your operating system:

  • Win7 x 64 install an Officejet 6500 has MORE. Cannot print

Win7 x 64 install an Officejet 6500 has MORE. Printer is connected to the wireless very well. Win7 x 64 computer can ping and see the printer on the network.

Get a message error everytime I try to print saying: "it cannot connect to the printer.

Same computer can connect to the printer and to view and modify settings wireless very well.

I guess it's a problem with Win7 x 64. I need to fix this before to decide to take back to Costco and exchange for the Canon I almost branch instead. HP you have always had driver problems, but still? Really!

Has taken over the crappy HP. Picked up a Canon PIXMA MX882 instead. Impeccable installation, in 10 min I'm printing, scanning, fax wireless with not a single question.

I am VERY disappointed with HP and its incompatibility with Win7 x 64 drivers. Don't advertise your crap software is compatible, when it is not! I lost hours of my personal time, trying to get HP to work then most of time taking the piece of crap back (I really like the hardware of the printer - software "guys really?"). I will never buy another HP printer. And on the Canon Wireless Setup was easier. A button called easy set up on top of the printer and BAM done. * beep * HP, * beep * indeed.
