Cannot install internet driver on HP Compaq

I have a refurbished HP Compaq Windows XP for refurbished computers.  I had the computer stored for about 8 months and then set up again.  When I plugged my adapter Netgear (WNA1100) it wouldn't work, so I uninstalled the driver.  Then I went to the internet and downloaded the driver.  And Yes, I see that it is no longer supported.  When I installed a message came: HrGetINetCXfg()... failed.  Error code: 0 x 80070057.  So I thought that maybe the adapter useless.  I bought another card and when I tried to put in the software I got the same message.  I did the usual stuff, ran a registry cleaner, defragmented, etc..  No joy.  Any help here?

Hello @Visari26,

I understand that you get an error when you try to install your ethernet. I suspect it has to do with the fact that you can not run a Windows Update more on this computer, so when he goes to look for the information, it fails. I miss it anyway as because you cannot connect to the Internet you would not get the update anyway. I would recommend that we start only from scratch and you use the HP Support document: performing a recovery of the system (Windows XP) HPand use it to recover your computer to factory settings. This will put EVERYTHING back so it should work unless a hardware problem.

Please re-post if you need extra support. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • Cannot install wireless driver for Satellite A40

A few days ago I had to reinstall the OS windows (XP) on my laptop. Since then, I'm not able to get a WiFi connection. I tried to install the driver on the CD that was in the package, I got when I plug the laptop, but the installation failed. I am able to get internet with a LAN cable, however, the only type of access provided in the College, I screw is wireless, so I really want to make it work again.

There is no option for a wireless connection when I click on "create a new internet connection". However, through the program "ConfigFree" (included in the installation package) I know that my wireless adapter cannot "see" the wireless network. In addition, when I click on "view available wireless connection" icon of the internet wireless next to the time, it shows nothing.

Really, I don't know how to run again and would be pleased if someone can help me.

    Kind regards

    Hello

I'm a little confused about the description of your problem full of m.
First of all, it would be very interesting to know if you have used the WLan in the past!
Did you use WLan on this laptop?

I searched a little on the net and didn't find any A40 with the installed wireless card!
Please check under network adapters Device Manager if a wireless network card or an unknown device appears.

If it s not available under network adapters, then your laptop was not equipped with the LAN card internal minPCI!

  • Cannot install the driver/software package

HI (sorry for my English, I'm a Spanish speaker).

I have an all in a psc 1315 and cannot install the software/driver from the site in a new 32-bit Windows 7 PC.

I tried everything I could find in the forum and on the outside.

    I downloaded the driver from:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?OS=4062&LC=ES&CC=ar&DLC=es&sw_lang=&product=3745...

    and it can run fine.

When the instalation starts fine, after the license agreement, when the installation is always "system analysis", he shutdow. Close the installation without an error message. Don't just run the next step.

So I can't install anything, can not get the HP Solution Center and other software for analysis.

Is not the antivirus, I tried to close the shields in time, not if.

I guess the Installer (AIO_CDB_NonNet_Full_Win_WW_130_141.exe) in the site's just failed.

I extraxt .exe files and tried to install the Solution Center in the "setup" folder inside, don't let me do. And it has a lot of files with configurations of software I don't know what I need those.

Can I connect the printer without the software, while adding in windows and it works for printing and browse the WIA, but in this way the "Scan" button on the HP psc 1315 do not work.

    Hello

Still, the installation problem you are facing, in order to avoid any installation problem, please also make sure that the USB printer is disconnected, enter the control panel > devices and printers, remove any printer PSC 1310 listed and restart the PC before the installation.

    And regarding the specific error:

Start the installation and follow the steps.

Once reached the license agreement window, click the 2nd link above (using the Internet).

Make sure that the two options set as No, thank you.

Accept the license agreementt continue following the install.

You see a difference by changing these settings?

    Kind regards

  • Cannot install the driver

I have a new HP Pavilion nine box 400-224.  I, like others have downloaded Windows 8 pilots (the HP site has even acknowledged that this box Windows 8.1) for my Officejet Pro l7580

Another post in the forum, I tried "refresing Windows" (Nice, because it removed all other applications I spent time install).

Trying to reinstall the drivers after the update, I got the error message, something to the effect of: this file system is missing in: c:\windows\system3hpzprl40.exe - inf - m...

Then I saw this post.  I followed the steps to the letter, except that you cannot install Adobe - when tried in doing so, I received a message that Adobe has been already installed/part of Internet Explorer.

Then after ALL these monkey business, I got the message that the system could not find the specified file.  c;\Uses\brian\deskop\7zs44d5\setup\hpzshl.ice_sufix... exe m

So my question is that now?  I've NEVER had to dink around during 4 hours trying to get a printer driver to install - in PARTICULAR that of HP.  As another user has posted, the pilot is "very rough."

I had to buy this new system (and not by choice and the motherboard has failed on my old system), and I was very disappointed, both with performance and the inability to perform a task simplete to install a print driver.

Sorry to hear that you have questions about getting your printer is installed on your Windows 8.1 operating system.  I have a few steps we can take to try to solve this problem.

First of all, if you have the printer connected to your computer with a USB cable, please remove and let off.  Please click on the following link and download HP Officejet Pro software and driver removal utility to your desktop. Once it was saved in the computer, double-click the icon and follow the instructions on the screen.  Once the removal has completed, download and run the HP printer install wizard for Windows.  Please do not connect any cables from the printer to the computer until you are prompted to do it from the Installer Wizard.

If you need further assistance, feel free to write again and I'll be happy to help you.

    Thank you for your time.

  • Equium L40 - 10z PSL41E - cannot install audio driver WinXP

    Hello!

I'm having a problem with the installation of the Windows XP sound card drivers

Computer laptop informatio, Toshiba Equium L40 - 10z (bought from PC World) PSL41e
    2 GB Ram DDR2 - 667 Mhz
    Core 2 [email protected]
    120 GB hard drive
Intel GMA 945 graphics card with shared memory

I can't find drivers for my laptop, the specification is indicated above. I have windows XP with service pack 3 installed and the system is unable to install drivers Realtek High Defination or audio drivers Realtek AC 97 ". I even tried the latest drivers version 1.86 but not its use.

I read the other posts on this forum and have tried the other model audio drivers as well, it seems that after running the installer from several other realtek audio drivers for windows XP THAT is of no use. I even tried to add material manually through the Device Manager and have to install these drivers for realtek high definition audio and the realtek ac 97 audio drivers.

Of course, this helps the drivers to install, but windows cannot activate the material with an error code 10 with a note of explanation on behalf of the driver in Device Manager.

I also tried to install the drivers of toshiba A100/A200 without exploitation, however, I read somewhere that there is a windows XP patch that is required to be installed, so that windows detect the chip high definition, which is on the motherboard. If one can provide a direct link to a driver with the .inf file that will have the information for the material, or if someone can advise (or provide a link for) according to microsoft update is required for windows XP, in the appropriate hardware detection, will be really useful.

I'm also sorry for my bad English I'm unable to articulate with the type of problem, I faced. But if anyone knows of a solution and additional information is needed, I will be happy to provide you with everything I know.

I'll be very grateful to anyone who helps address this issue. Looking forward to a positive response :).

    > have windows XP with service pack 3 installed
To my knowledge, that the XP SP3 is not published official. Only a beta version is available.
    Then go back to SP2!

    > the system cannot install drivers Realtek High Defination or Realtek AC' 97 audio drivers
Realtek AC 97 audio driver is not compatible! You must use the driver from Realtek High definition.

    > Of course, it helps the drivers to install, but windows cannot activate the material with an error code 10 with a note of explanation on behalf of the driver in Device Manager.

The problem is that you have not installed the MS XP patches that are necessary to get the sound working.

The LAN adapter ' Atheros AR8152 PCI-e... ' is installed and running

I have visited the support site, entered my details laptop and downloaded the appropriate drivers, but they don't seem to want to settle. File self extract and then never run the Setup, as Toshiba only I downloaded self-extracting exe files, I have no file inf etc. try manually.

Any suggestions welcome because I ran officially ideas

  • Photosmart C410A: Cannot install the Driver

OS version: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1, 64-bit
Processor: AMD APU A8-3820 with graphics HD Radeon (TM), AMD64 family 18 model 1 Stepping 0
    Number of processors: 4

    Motherboard: gateway, SX2370
Antivirus: Norton Internet Security, updated and activated

Apparently after a Windows Update, computer of my wife, which is connected to our printer via ethernet through our Linksys E3000 router connection, lost that connection. As the driver was out of date anyway, I downloaded just the updated driver and tried to install it after checking that all traces of the old version have been removed using the HP uninstaller program.

Inummerable times today, tried to install the driver. I either get the the point where installation asks what kind of connection I have and when it shows via ethernet I get an error message about the MpsSvc (Windows 7 firewall) be stopped or the installation fails generate a message that says missing a setupfile. I tried to disable the firewall in Norton Internet Security and AV and the installation always fails. I tried to turn on the Windows Firewall, via the the Task Manager (with the NIS firewall off) nothing works.

One of the solutions I found on this forum with an HP Expert was to use the complete package to install the driver. Even if I'm NOT all the programs that come with it (there is the possibility to choose what you wanted but not more) I tried. I still received the message to set firewall scenario and then had to uninstall all the programs I didn't want in the first place.

There are two other computers in the House connected wireless to the printer and both work very well. I even tried the road wireless with this computer, nothing is done.

I know I'm not the only one we encounter this problem as I saw other postings but I have yet to see a solution that works. I'm trying not to get both frustrated and angry but it must be an otherwise difficult problem to solve. Before the update Windows and update the driver of HP, this computer worked fine with this printer. There is a conflict between HP software and Windows 7. Please give me a solution that actually works.

I finally found a relatively simple solution that worked. First of all, I unzipped the driver of a CD-based package. Then, I clicked on the Start button and open "devices and printers". Then I clcked on "add a printer".  I chose "add a network printer". As Windows did not have the selected HP C410a among the choices of the printer, I have disk driver and connected to the CD file. Windows finds the driver, installed and everything works as it should. Certainly, the icon of the printer is not the C410A but all the functionality of software works so I don't care.

On my wife's computer, I followed the same procedure except that I chose the option "Local printer", as his office is connected to the router via an ethernet cable. For some reason, his computer also had the HP C410A among printers whose drivers available and Windows loading automatically good. Everything is fine with his computer in terms be able to print. Again, not the cool little icon C410A under "Devices and printers", but it works.

The really good part of doing it this way is that I didn't have to install all the unwanted HP softerware which comes with the "complete package".

    I appreciate everyone's help.

  • Qosmio F30-140 - cannot install the driver display and Bluetooth

    Hi all!

I have a little problem with the installation of recovery.

After installing Windows I don't have the graphic card installed and is not everything, I can't turn on bluetooth because the computer cannot install it. New form of drivers Toshiba do not change it's the same thing. If I install the graphics card, the info is this graphics card was not found. Bluetooth installation always hangs in the middle. All the original drivers are on the disk, but I can not install them. All I get is a "controller VGA with one?" in Device Manager.

    Help, please!

    Hello

Normally, everything must be installed correctly after using the Toshiba Recovery disk but before trying to update a driver, you must remove the old driver first. So, go to Control Panel-Add/Remove programs online and remove the old driver and reboot the laptop. You can then install the latest driver on the Toshiba site.

In the worst case, there is something wrong with the motherboard and you must go to an authorized service provider, but first try the new drivers.

    Good bye

Everyone knows that before and if so please could you point me in the right direction I've been struggling with this for a few days now!

    Hello

You must include the SATA drivers.
The SATA drivers are part of the Intel Matrix Storage Manager, which can be downloaded from the Intel and Toshiba page page.

Here's a nice instruction how to do this:

Hi, I can not install driver of toshiba power saver on my laptop because instalation crashes with error 1610: the configuration data for this product are damaged. Please contact the support staff. I tried several versions of driver of standby power. I received the latest official chipset driver... Someone knows how to fix this?

My second problem is with the battery, my laptop running on battery max 10 minutes (I have my laptop for 2 years) and I often force using battery power. Battery can lose so much capacity in 2 years even if I used for my battery once a week?

Sorry for the English and thx for answer

I think that you should not install this driver, the only saving electricity only.
What about the battery? In my opinion, it is possible. In my opinion, the duration of battery life cannot be defined so easy.
Some batteries perform well after 3 years of use, and some of them are dead after only a year.

Wireless, I can't complete installation, so I can't use all the HP utilities there to address because they expect to the internet.

How can I install the driver for the WiFi works?

    Hello:

I used 7 - zip to explore the driver folder and all the drivers are there.

    So, see if it works...

Download and install this free utility for files.  You want the first file listed for 32 bit.

    http://www.7-zip.org/

Download and save sp64212.  Do not run it.

Having done both, right click on sp64212 and select 7 - Zip from the list.

Have 7-Zip extract of: and let it extract the files in the sp64212 folder.

Once you have done this, go to the Device Manager and click the device 'Network controller' who need drivers.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the sp64212 that 7-zip driver folder created.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected, and the driver should install.

Please start the spooler or restart the computer. ") Operating system Vista).  I've upgraded to Windows 7, but the problem persists.

So is the printer connected to the router or you are going through the router to a shared printer on another computer.

Whatever it is, the printer driver must be executed in the process of printisolationhost rather than the spoolsv process if the spooler will not process that is corrupting the print driver.

When you have Pro and Ultimate is easy.  If you have home made me know if gpedit.msc launches Group Policy Editor.

For Pro and home run printmanagement.msc

Drivers, find the 1522, right click, pilot of isolation, isolated

Now, start the spooler service.  Since the driver does not work, you must remove it by using any HP software used to install the driver.  Normally in the programs, you can find the installation of HP and select uninstall.  Reset.  HP.com head, pick up the HP driver published last month and start again

Help! In an IBM computer running Windows XP Pro SP 3 I am looking to replace a defective DAT72 IBM (Seagate) drive with another band DAT tape drive - the replacement drive came from Dell, but it's the exact same Seagate drive. For some reason, the new tape drive is first detected as a Seagate drive, then askes for a quantum qdatwin.sys file - the former disc one driver IBM). I downloaded the latest drivers for Quantum, Dell and IBM, and any driver I install I get the same message that "Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) ». I should mention that when I started this process trhe CD player had mysteriously disappered. I had the Code 39 error on the CD player as well at the time - but not on the tape drive. I went to States support of info on it and choose the "have them fix it" (or whatever it is) and it did fix (problem of CD which is). Now it seems I have the same problem with the Unwinder - but I can't find any info on how to fix this. Also, I tried resdtorign the computer at a checkpoint before the problems started - not question how I chose, I get the same error Windows cannot restore to the restore point - choose another. I tried 7 different restore points with the same results. I ran a full antivirus scan who come clean. Furthermore, I use Acronis backup software that does not all drivers of his own band - it relies on the drivers for the tape drive. Everything worked fine for a good year before it happened. At the end of my rope here.
