Cannot install iTunes "error 7".

After installation of iTunes that says that Apple is successful, I get the message "ADiAdId - required AcquireMatchSlotIf not found in the dynamic link library iAdCore.dll.  Then, I get error 7 (Win error 127).  I uninstalled all Apple apps and reinstalled twice.  Have a new iPhone and iPad and you want iTunes to work on my PC.  Help, please.

Hi Diane,

Error 7, when installing iTunes code, may occur due to the bad or corrupted installation of a version of Microsoft .NET Framework. It is important to note that versions 2.0, 3.5, and 4.0 can be everything-by-side.

We will try to repair the .net Framework and check if this solves the problem.

I suggest to refer to the article and follow the steps mentioned in the section "Windows 7".

NOTE: I had iTunes on my menu START but it deleted by accident.  It's not in my recycle bin while I was trying to install the latest version

    Hi LisaSims,

According to your statement "I had iTunes on my menu START but it deleted by accident." "It's not in my recycle bin while I was trying to install the latest version. If you just delete the shortcut on the start screen that does not remove the actual program from your computer. Check "Programs and features" If iTunes is still installed. To do this, see the following steps:

    (a) press "win key + W" simultaneously to bring up the search interface.

    (b) type 'Programs and features' and press enter on the keyboard.

    (c) under "Programs and features" list check whether "iTunes" in the list. If so, then iTunes is still installed on your computer.

Navigate to the following location and check to see if the iTunes folder is listed:

If Windows is the 32-bit version check: "C:\Program Files\iTunes\".

If Windows is 64 bit version check in: "C:\Program Files (x 86) \iTunes\.

If the problem is specific to iTunes and you have already tried uninstall and reinstall as suggested by 'Andre Da Costa' then contact support for assistance to install iTunes.

    Hello kev1234567,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

I suggest that you download and install the Windows Installer Cleanup utility to here.
You can use the utility to remove installation information for programs that were installed by using Windows Installer. Remember that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility does not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall on.

Once you have opened the Windows Installer Cleanup utility, it will fill all the programs installed on your computer by Windows Installer. Select iTunes and then click on the button Delete. It deletes all corrupted files or incomplete iTunes from your computer. Then remove the Hello and QuickTime. They will be both installed with iTunes again.

NOTE: iTunes Store purchases or songs imported from CDs are saved in your my default music folder and are not deleted by removing iTunes.

Then go to Apple.com and download the latest version of iTunes and try the installation again. You should now be successful in installing iTunes.

If you're still having problems, please refer to the support of Apple records: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1923

    I hope this helps.

    Sincerely,

If please reply back and let us know if this helps solve your problem or if you still need help.
