• Installing the CF Builder 3 in Eclipse...

  OK, I posted earlier that I couldn't install CF Builder 3 in Flash Builder 4.7...  So I tried just installing CF Builder 3 in a plain old Eclipse install, wishing to then install Flash Builder 4.7 in addition to this.

  BUT COLDFUSION BUILDER 3 INSTALL NOT EVEN IN PLAIN ECLIPSE!

  I followed all the instructions.  I downloaded the new version of 64-bit Eclipse.  (4.6 - something).  The instructions say version 3.6 OR HIGHER is necessary, so I guess that 4.6 will work fine.  I ran the CF Builder 3 .exe file; I selected the Eclipse plugin installation option, I entered the serial number when prompted.  The Setup log INDICATES that the installation is successful.  But when I double-click the shortcut "Run Adobe ColdFusion Builder 3 Plugin", it just runs Eclipse - perspectives no. ColdFusion there or what it is related to ColdFusion anywhere in there!

  Well, I guess that's the answer if you try to install the CF Builder 3 in Eclipse.  You must install it in 4.3.x - no other version, older or more recent Eclipse, Eclipse will work with CF Builder 3.

  And if you try to install Flash Builder 4.7 in this same Eclipse installation?  Not going not to happen.  Simply not possible.  Cannot be done.  But if you do not need Flash Builder 4.7, then you can get CF Builder 3 installed without any problem in your installation of 4.3.x Eclipse.

  After masking the update sought KB3104002 updates and it found an another KB3100773 same as KB3104002 *. IE 11 updates and it failed.   Try to extract the exe from another place, not in the temp folder.
  In my case, I created a folder on a second partition (D) and have extracted the exe file in this folder. Can go to the Device Manager, and then can install the driver through the Device Manager.
  Choose the installation procedure advantage and point to the folder that contains the extracted files.

  Hi, Shada, this can happen if you include additional installers to your installer for example DAQmx. When you do this the installation program must include other files like MAX (Measuremente and Automation Explorer). Probably when you installed Vision Builder he updated MAX, so when your Installer try to understand MAX, his request the source where it was installed in your computer in this case Vision Builder.

  Here you can cache information so it is not asked once again, or you can download a version more recent fo DAQmx, then it will update MAX and change the dependecy.
