I download the driver from the support site of toshiba for usb 3.0 for win7 x 64 and it starts to install the driver, but in the end it saids...
Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an erroe trying to install it.
AMD USB 3.0 host controller
The system cannot find the specified file.
I try to point the location of the driver but same error.
Other drivers installed ok only gives error
I ve downloaded and unzipped the driver and everything seems OK.
As far as I know laptops equipped with platform AMD isn't chipset driver and after installing display driver must be installed USB driver.
Try to download it again and start the installation manually.
I try again to install the driver and follow the instructions at the bottom of the link but still cannot install. I start small windows and even to create a new user, but can not run.
I use windows 10 try to connect with the wireless option that the printer is in another room. The printer is connected to the router and ping is passthrough. But during the installation, the installer cannot find the printer. I will provide the number IP Installer but nothing helped.
Can I do to install? Thank you.
Thank you for showing interest in the Forums of HP Support!
I understand that you are unable to install the printer wireless. I'd be happy to help you and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem. If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.
I see that you have followed the steps in the post you mentioned. In addition to these steps, try the following.
Tips for a successful wireless connection:
- What type of encryption are you helping? HP recommends WPA or WPA2.
- Using a unique network name (SSID).
- Avoid using filtering by Mac address of the router.
- Make sure you have 802.11 g active.
- The printer cannot connect to the 5.0 GHz network. If you have a double router broadband, the 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz network names are not the same. Rename the 5.0 GHz network.
- Don't hide your SSID (network name).
- Change the router channel fixed wireless as the 1, 6 or 11, who less than traffic.
- You have a switch or an extra router?
- Do not use a network of comments (SSID).
- Disable UPnP on the router.
- Set the router to 20 Mhz only, or 145Mbps depending on the router.
- Update the firmware on the router.
Disable IPV6 in front panel of the printer menu:
- Configuration menu
- Network configuration
- Network services
- IPv6, select disabled.
If the problem persists, you may encounter an IP address conflict. It's a good idea to assign the printer a static IP address outside your DHCP range. For example, some routers default DHCP is located between 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.200. So, I would use 192.168.0.232.
To assign the static IP address, use the following steps as a guide.
- Print a Page of Network Configuration menu of the printer front panel. Note the IP IPV4 of the printer address.
- Type the IP address in the browser to bring up the SAP.
- Choose the network tab, then wireless on the left side, and then select the IPv4 tab.
- Select Manual IP.
- Enter your IP address manual (192.168.0.232)
- Enter 255.255.255.0 for the subnet mask, except if it is different.
- Enter the IP address of your router that sits on the Network Configuration Page) for the default gateway.
- Please, click on manual DNS server. For the preferred DNS Server Manual please enter 188.8.131.52 and the Alternate DNS Server Manual, please enter 184.108.40.206.
- Click on apply.
- Restart the router, the printer and the computer.
- Test print.
Ensure that your router and firewall do not block these ports.
- UDP ports: 427, 137, 161
- TCP port: 9100
- Card photo upload:
- UDP ports: 137, 138, 427
- TCP port: 139
- UDP port: 427
- TCP ports: 9220, 9500
- The HP device status:
- UDP port: 161
- Sending faxes:
- UDP port: 427
- TCP port: 9220
- Installation of the HP device:
- UDP port: 427
- Ports of Web Services:
- UDP and TCP: 80, 443, 5222 and 5223
- Hello Ports:
- TCP and UDP: 5353 and 5297, 5298
Update the firmware of the printer:
- Click here to download and install the update of the firmware of the printer.
- Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet (do not use a bar or a surge protector).
- What were the results when you ran the printing and scanning doctor (she print or scan, error messages)?
- Try to install the USB printer.
Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. I can't wait to hear strings attached good luck!
I have a Toshiba Satellite A100-626 and I recently installed Windows 7. I was able to install all the drivers except bluetooth!
There is no bluetooth device in the Device Manager... There is no unknown device is... When I try to install Bluetooth Stack, I get an error message saying, plug in and press OK.
I don't know what to do... Can anyone help? In XP bluetooth worked well and I have used so many times...
Prior to installing the BT software, you must activate the BT module.
The principle is the same as for the earlier operating system: turn on the WLAN antenna and use the FN + F8 key combination.
The question is: can you use FN + F8 key combination to activate the BT?
I reinstalled my laptop Toshiba Satellite L850 with old Windows 7. I installed all the necessary drivers. After you install the display driver in the device under display adapetrs Manager I see the message that the adapter is not working properly because the system cannot load the drivers.
On Win7, it has also installed SP1. I don't see why drivers are not loaded correctly. Does anyone have an idea on what could be the problem?
The Satellite L850 - 1 hr is equipped with a graphics chip from ATI Radeon HD 7670 M
I guess that the ATI driver is not installed correctly.
On the page of the driver Toshiba UE especially in Satellite L850 PSKG8E area, I couldn't find the Win 7 driver download.
But I checked the drivers available for all series of L850 and I found the AMD display drivers.
You should do this too. Choose the series of satellites L850 (short model No. Select all) in the driver download the form and you will get all the available drivers for Win 7 and Win 8
AMD display drivers should be included too.,.
I have encountered this same problem after charge a laptop Win7 twice. When the problem occurs, the laptop is impossible to install any printer object on the machine of any provider in the field of devices and printers. We use the latest solution of complete software from HP.com. It is a USB printer installation situation.
The scanner and fax functions are able to install without problem in Device Manager. We can run the scanner with the HP software without any problems. However, the print in Device Manager device remains in the category other devices and fails to install every time.
Anyone has any ideas on where to start for this one? See the attachment for a screenshot of the error when executing addition MS one assistant of the printer.
I was able to solve the problem for now.
We tried a number of solutions:
1 Add/Remove from Device Manager
2 Add/Remove tab of device drivers drivers and printers
3. Uninstall and reinstall with the latest software
4 charge the laptop
5 disable HP Smart Install
6. create alternative USB printer objects in devices and printers
7. Mrs. FixIt 50979 and 50984
What ended by us to install the object HP Printing in Device Manager is a manual cleaning of the two areas. Once these areas have been cleaned for restart us the print spooler, manually pointed objects in the Device Manager for the the driver files on the machine and finished the installation wizard triggered AutoRun automatically power off.
We have removed all the contents of this folder:
We have also removed all HP registry entries in this area:
It was of course a pain in coming to this conclusion, but at least my user works again and be able to print. Time will tell whether or not something will come and corrupting its Setup again.

I checked Device Manager and can see Printing USB support in the USB controllers section. When you view Device Manager, I can unplug the printer USB cable and USB printing support icon goes. When I plug the cable into the printer, the reapperars icon. I can scan documents from the printer to the computer. I can also copy the parts of the printer on the paper. I can't get the driver to install. Windows simply says "driver not installed device software." I run the driver installation program Epson 4 times with no success. Your help is appreciated.

I just replaced my hard drive and installed Windows 7 Pro 32 bit on my L500 (PSLS6A - 00 X 013).
I downloaded all the drivers of "My Toshiba.com.au" and everything was fine until I tried to install the Realtek Lan driver and VGA driver, all other drivers work very well, but he does not accept these two drivers.
The L500 is an Intel i3 processor 4 gig ram any help would be appreciated.
_Regarding the display driver: _
Which driver do you have?
On the Toshiba driver page, you can find two different drivers (AMD/ATI and Intel) and a comment: +(For Supported Model Only) +.
This means that you need to check the GPU and must use the correct driver.
Your laptop is equipped with an Intel graphics chip. Then DON T install AMD/ATI driver!
_Regarding LAN driver: _
What's the problem exactly? Do you get any error messages?
Can you please provide more details.
I have problems to install the Toshiba VAP software game in order to get the special function keys to work.
As the installation starts, it installs the driver of Toshiba system, then it starts to install the Flashcards section.
Flashcards installation fails indicating to the driver system must install first, but this has apparently already installed successfully.
If anyone else has had this problem and how to solve?
This system is running?
The VAP is now available for Win 7
The pilot of the system was released to win 8.1
I own a laptop Satellite Pro M30, which includes a GeForce FX Go5200 GPU from nVIDIA. On 27 July, nVIDIA has released a new driver and related software (version 61.77), as indicated by nVIDIA, fits all the its GPU.
I tried to install this new driver on my laptop (after removing the old driver following the instructions by nVIDIA) but it does not install. Does anyone have an idea why?
Why the new driver is not displayed on the Toshiba support site driver for this laptop?
All drivers are designed and tested to laptops and Tom is right about producer for laptop. This means that you can find the download page for all drivers needed on Toshiba.
As much I know Toshiba supports the drivers shipped with the device drivers and updates if necessary.
I am not able to install the driver of the TPM secure and so I'm not able to install the TPM software... I have a satellite u200, and it's on my tools and utitilities cd. Installation always says "Trusted Platform Module not found" someone at - it the same problem?
Have you checked the BIOS settings? Maybe the TPM must be enabled first.
None does not work when I plugged my USB a USB device. I looked in the management of the computer and the USB (USB 2.0 - CRW) mass storage device was a triangle with an exclamation point. I tried to uninstall, and then reinstall so it would work if all goes well. After UN-installing, I can't re - install. It is said: "Windows encountered a problem installing the software driver for your device." The system can not find the specified file. »
How can I get my USB drive working again?
Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer/notebook > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > get latest Vista drivers for it > download/install their

I recently bought a simple mouse, wired Plug-and-Play, but when I connected it to my computer, nothing happened before or after that the computer said that it had installed the drivers for it. Thinking that there was something wrong with the mouse, I tried to connect another computer and it worked without any problem. I searched for possible solutions to this problem, and one of these solutions was to go to Device Manager and uninstall all drivers under USB controllers. Then I restarted my computer and plugged in mice that had not been detected before, and I could move the cursor autour for a little while until Windows has started looking for drivers. Then it stopped working again and I was unable to use it.
I also tried to delete the driver under the mouse and other pointing devices, but it does not solve this problem either.

Hope this information is useful. Please do not hesitate to answer, in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.
I bought a 3000 N200 with Win Vista Basic. His is not illegigble for a decommissioning of the plant, but apparently it's possible.
At the beginning of the XP installation after you press F6, everything seems very well, that the floppy drive is read I can select the appropriate driver and program installation continues... Drunk when the installer is ready to copy files to the hard drive, Setup stops and asks the "Intel Matrix Storage Manager" diskette in the A: drive. The thing is that the drive is still in the floppy drive. It's as if the USB floppy drive is not connected. What's wrong?
I've done the disk several times different. I unplug it and re - insert the USB key.
I can't disable the ACHI and run the XP installation very well, but the ACPI driver (or something like that) is installed. Later, during the loading of software the program WinDVD from the Lenovo Web site does not recognize the manufacturer and stops.
nLite is my Savior. I've not finished installation, but once the installation program only is complaint not only no hard drive was present, I think that I am free to hone. I just included the AHCI driver in nLite with the chipset drivers and it seems to work...
Later I'll post the final verdict...
Try to install the updates for Reader and Flash Player on Mac book pro (OSX 10.8.5) I have also a wch screen shows my name (not the e-mail address) & asks for my password. tried adobe pw, apple id pw, changing adobe pw. Nothing works. What should I do?
This password is presented by your operating system and is designed to prevent you from accidentally installing the software.
If it comes to your personal computer and you don't need a password to connect to the computer when it first starts, you can probably leave the password blank and click OK to go to this prompt. If it comes to your personal computer and your normal password does not work, make sure that CAPS LOCK SHIFT is off, and then type the password carefully.
If this is your work machine and he asks an administrator password, well, you will need to have a conversation with your computer friendly.
