    Hello

The wireless network card is listed in the device under network adapters Manager?

  • PROBLEM! Cannot view wireless networks!

Hi, I am currently running Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit on my office and cannot view wireless networks!

I tried to use two wireless adapters and both show active although they cannot show all networks.
LAN works perfectly well and when I try to add a wireless network, it is said "an unexpected error has occurred."
I have updated drivers for two adapters to the correct version wireless and little. No yellow icon in the Device Manager.
I also checked to see if power saving has been enabled for the device and power options that are disabled.
Two wireless adapters are using a USB port, not PCI. I abandoned everything simply! I need some advice on how to solve this problem! I can provide more information if necessary. But please help me with this problem :(
I also disabled anti virus software and my firewall!
The wireless adapter, I am using is the:
TRENDnet TEW-649UB Wireless USB adapter N speed

    UPDATE! :
We have some progress I uninstalled all the previous windows updates and can now see wireless networks (such as firewall/AV). The problem I have now is that when I try to connect it said "Windows could not connect. He also says in the settings of cards tab my wireless adapter is "authentication attempt.

    Hi Tatiana,

    ·         Have you tried to install the drivers from the manufacturer's Web site?

    ·         Have you checked if the network card works on another computer?

Download drivers card network from the manufacturer's website and check manually.

    http://www.TRENDnet.com/downloads/list_subcategory.asp?SUBTYPE_ID=1353

Alternatively, you can deal with this problem due to security software. I suggest that disable you the security like anti-virus and firewall software and check if the problem persists.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Call the helpline for the manufacturer of your network adapter. It is likely that neither Windows nor the router have problems, it's just a matter of getting the configuration on both put in place settings to work properly together. The manufacturer of the router will be the best resource to learn how to configure their device.

  • Satellite T135D - cannot detect wireless networks

    I bought a T135D early January.
Everything was happy until one day my laptop decides it cannot detect wireless networks, and even less to connect to one.
I don't think the T135 came with a manual switch, while in the BIOS it says it's on.

The graph with the antenna and 4 bars charge is no longer at startup, or the light that lights up on the front of my laptop. It's frustrating to have this kind of problem so early in the game with the T135D.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

The wireless network must be activated by pressing the FN + F8 key combination.
    Have you tried that?

    If not, please check it

Of course, you must make sure that the WLan card driver is always up to date.

  • Intel WiFi Link 5100 network card - cannot detect wireless networks

I have a HP Pavilion dv7-1270us. My wireless card is an Intel WiFi Link 5100.

Running Windows Vista 64 bit, Ubuntu Linux, Linux Mint and Fedora Linux (various versions, all), the wireless works fine. My desktop computers to work with wireless cards to connect to the network work very well, and all computers (except mine) to connect to my home network very well; which means that it is not a problem with wireless networks, or with my network card. I try to manually connect to the network, but it can't find it. Diagnosis requires that the card is disabled, and that I should turn it on via the switch on my laptop running: fact.

During the installation of Windows 7 64 bit, I cannot see wireless networks (and therefore unable to connect). Re-formated and reinstalled again, check the wireless connectivity between each batch of Windows Update, but it has never worked.

I downloaded the latest drivers from Intel, via Microsoft Compatibility Center (version 15.2.0 driver).

There is no system restore option because he has never worked as a first step, except in all other OS, I got on the computer. Microsoft Compatibility says the map is compatible, then Device Manager shows no problems. The network adapter is active via switch on my laptop.

Happy that you guessed it sorted!

  • My office wireless icon is x'd - cannot detect wireless networks.

My computer screen suddenly went black this evening - the monitor was still, the fans were still humming, but it was totally insensitive.

I forced a stop, and when I rebooted the computer, my wireless icon has been x'd out. My computer cannot detect wireless networks (there are a half-dozen or more in my building). I tried a good stop and restart, but the problem was still there.

The Network Diagnostics tool told me to check the router, so I did--but all other devices in the House are connected very well. I thought it would be a malware, so I ran a MalwareBytes scan, which turned up nothing. Then I reinstalled the drivers from the card WLAN - no luck there.

System Restore has not solved the problem. ipconfig says "media state: disconnected ' for my WIFI adapter, but I don't know how to fix this. In the devices, the Broadcom WLAN card Manager, he says "this device is functioning correctly.

I work from home, so it is important that I can access my wireless. Help, please!

  • Cannot install Wireless Adapter (card NETWORK or USB key) to the Pavilion p6340a Win 7 Home Prem

I removed a work card TP-Link to a Pavilion a1300a XP Home PC network to put in my Pavilion p6340a Win 7 (64-bit) Home Prem PC.

Download and install the current drivers of TP-Link.
Installed everything well and the adapter can be seen in sub "Change adapter settings" in network and sharing Center and shows as working properly in Device Manager, but it is not recognized as a network within the network and sharing Center.

Under "Manage wireless networks'" nothing appears, if I then click on Add"then manually create network profile" "I then get an informative message '" an unexpected error occurred'. "

Suspect a problem with the NETWORK card, I uninstalled it and its drivers and tried to install a USB wireless adapter with the same exact result and the error message. It seems that there must be an OS problem or something stopping the wireless to work. USB adapter both NIC work properly when installed on the former Pavilion a1300a XP Home PC. NETWORK card and USB adapter are the current drivers for Win7.

All the ideas it driving me crazy. A simple 5 minutes on any other PC task turned into many.many hours without solution.

After many hours of uninstall re install & try everything under the Sun in many forums, I finally found a solution. Despite trying with firewall disabled at different times was the final fix

    1. Uninstall NETWORK card and USB drivers and devices.
    2. Then uninstall the AntiVirus (in this case AVG Internet Security)
    3. Reinstall the NETWORK card and drivers
    4. Reinstall AntiVirus

Tried the USB adapter as well so that the antivirus has been uninstalled and installed no. with problems.

    Everything works very well.

  • Cannot install wireless driver for Satellite A40

A few days ago I had to reinstall the OS windows (XP) on my laptop. Since then, I'm not able to get a WiFi connection. I tried to install the driver on the CD that was in the package, I got when I plug the laptop, but the installation failed. I am able to get internet with a LAN cable, however, the only type of access provided in the College, I screw is wireless, so I really want to make it work again.

There is no option for a wireless connection when I click on "create a new internet connection". However, through the program "ConfigFree" (included in the installation package) I know that my wireless adapter cannot "see" the wireless network. In addition, when I click on "view available wireless connection" icon of the internet wireless next to the time, it shows nothing.

Really, I don't know how to run again and would be pleased if someone can help me.

    Kind regards
    Katerina

    Hello

I'm a little confused about the description of your problem full of m.
First of all, it would be very interesting to know if you have used the WLan in the past!
Did you use WLan on this laptop?

I searched a little on the net and didn't find any A40 with the installed wireless card!
Please check under network adapters Device Manager if a wireless network card or an unknown device appears.

If it s not available under network adapters, then your laptop was not equipped with the LAN card internal minPCI!

-I am still able to connect to the internet via the Ethernet cable
-My wifi switch is in the on position
-In the Device Manager it says that it is WORKING CORRECTLY
-It displays a red x in the taskbar, indicating that theres no link and no network available
-When I go to control panel > network and Internet > network and sharing Center Center it is completely empty, nothing is there... only 4 icons... nothing else.
-It does not show the button wireless in Windows Mobility Center more
-J' bought a Linksys wireless adapter and it will not work unless I have activated the wireless network Manager windows... which I am not either.
-J' uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers from the Web from Toshiba site
-J' did a system restore and it didn't

    -My modem works fine

-Other home computers are able to connect to wireless modem

This is what it says when I try to start Wlan AutoConfig 0xc00ce508:0xc00ce508 of error «Windows failed to start service autoconfiguration WLAN on local computer»

I did a 'sfc/scannow' in the administrator command prompt and it said "protection of resources windows found corrupt files but was unable to solve some of them"

    Nothing works.

Please help me, it drives me crazy. Thank you very much in advance :)

    Hello

If everything checked OK wise network, and you have mentioned before: ' sfc/scannow' in the command as administrator prompt and it said "windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to trouble".

It is perhaps that some kernel files are corrupted and cannot be updated.

    Refresh the Installation of XP.

To be safe, back up your data and some special stuff to a flash drive.

    ----------------------------------

Boot from the original XP CD. Pass the first screen offering Console repair and proceed as if you install a new XP.

After accepting etc., the new Setup screen lights up and would detect the current XP installation.

You have an option to press R to repair.

Use it, would take about 45 min. and you would an Installation of XP refresh all by keeping your Application, data and XP configuration.

P.S. If you have made changes to the WinXP definition (special permission as firewall) security to look on them after the update because they could go back to the default value.

    Hi all.

I tried to install the drivers on my laptop wireless without a bit of luck.
My network card works, and I can connect to the internet via ethernet. But wireless doesn't work at all.

I checked under network adapters and Device Manager, it shows realtek fast ethernet nic and 1394 network adapter.
In the other devices section, it shows Ethernet controller... I tried to score for the drivers that I downloaded but it says "no new pilots could be detected.

    I hope someone can help
(also - wlan is enabled in the laptop, but nothing happens - and it only shows my connection to the local network in network connections)

I see that your wireless network card is not mentioned under network adapters in the Device Manager and so I m 1005 sure that Wlan card driver was not installed.

I think that you were unable to install it because you used all just a bad driver!
    Equium A200-15I belongs to the * PSAE2E * series.

Please check that you have chosen the right notebook series and downloaded the correct driver.
As far as I know this unit should support the card of XB63L Wlan Atheros 11 b/g (13ch).

  • Desire X 2 g000: cannot install wireless driver on HP Envy X 2 g000

I tried to reset the PC (frankly it waas behave very irregularly, constant breaks down, mouse pointer disappears etc.) and the windows utility to do this. At the end a BACK screen style was asked to use the flight / flight keys pressed to decide whether to wipe completely or not. I chose to erase completely.

So I got a PC without an OS, that is not what I expectwed when I chose to reset completely.

I downloaded Win 8 create a key to start on another machine and have now reinstalled windows.

I have found most of the drivers for the keyboard, mouse etc. to the HP wesbsite.

I'm unable to install Sp64212 which is the driver for the wireless network. When I run it I get an error setup.exe has failed.

Wireless, I can't complete installation, so I can't use all the HP utilities there to address because they expect to the internet.

How can I install the driver for the WiFi works?

    Hello:

I used 7 - zip to explore the driver folder and all the drivers are there.

    So, see if it works...

Download and install this free utility for files.  You want the first file listed for 32 bit.

    http://www.7-zip.org/

Download and save sp64212.  Do not run it.

Having done both, right click on sp64212 and select 7 - Zip from the list.

Have 7-Zip extract of: and let it extract the files in the sp64212 folder.

Once you have done this, go to the Device Manager and click the device 'Network controller' who need drivers.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the sp64212 that 7-zip driver folder created.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected, and the driver should install.

SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!  I have a very old laptop, since 2002, I think, that is running XP Home. Recently my laptop started to cut all of a sudden and then cannot find the wireless network. I know that this is not the WiFi because my other laptop works very well. When I restart the laptop, it works up until I try to download something and sometimes turns off while I'm browsing. I have a RTL8185 wireless card, which I replaced it with the same model. Still no change. I spent weeks in different forums, try to understand this point, and I don't have a chance.

I thank very you much for your time. I called my ISP and he told me to try restoring the system to determine if it was the settings or if it was the hardware. Instead, I decided to search the Internet how to speed up my network because Chrome was really slow on the cell affected.

I happened to run across this Web site
When I disabled all protocols except TCP/IP Protocol, the network WORKED! Now the Internet works, I can download large files and browse shared files with the same speed as my other laptop!
I hope this can help someone else with this problem!
