Cannot launch Adobe Application Manager

Under Mac OSX Lion Macbook Pro with Adobe Creative Cloud. When I try to launch Acrobat Pro, Application Manager tries to launch, but none came. Occurs whenever I try to launch Acrobat, so Acrobat will not work. Suggestions? I noticed there is no uninstall for Application Manager. I can just trash and try to reinstall?

Hi Dave,.

Acrobat X has already worked? I would try to run uninstaller for Acrobat applications > utilities > Adobe Installers if avaiable, restart and then start Adobe Application Manager first of all within the Applications and then reinstall Acrobat.

"We met the following problems. Setup could not initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem. »

The correct answer to the thread did not directly help, but knowing that there are more files in the folder utilities under Adobe Application Manager allowed me to try to delete all files from Adobe in this folder. After that, I was able to install the new application manager.

Advice to Adobe if you want:

Consider changing the installer to find and delete all the files in a conflict like this to the user to help with the installation process.

    Hello

Please follow these steps to solve the problem.

Download and run Creative Cloud installer from this location.

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

Once please download Creative Cloud Desktop Apps from this location.

    http://www.creative.Adobe.com

After the creation of the clouds is installed, then you can download and install Indesign CC.

Please let me know if it helps.

  • Cannot launch Adobe Extension Manager CS5.5

    Hello

As the title suggests the program will not start, I him have not used since the update to OSX Yosemite, but I had to reinstall suite CS5.5, after he stopped work after the update. I also installed the extensions separately Manager today to see if it solves the problem, it only has done it.

With the program crashing on launch, I did some research and tried to bypass it by installing the extension that I found via terminal, he began, but also crashed before completion.

The ZXP file is actually a ZIP file with metadata. He just copy and rename and unzip the file. On a Mac, you may need to Unzip (uncompress) program. You can then access the plugin files. The metadata file is a text file that tells you what files go where. If you understand what you can copy the plug-ins in the right place. If this isn't the case, get a mentor.

  • What is 'Test' of Adobe Application Manager?

Today, I launched Adobe Application Manager, because seeing how Dreamweaver broke, I thought that there are updates. Well, he asked me my ID Adobe, he had not before, then there was a list of all Adobe CS mine applications and a Test option on them. Well, I thought: ' it's going to check for updates ", so I clicked on them all. Some have had a Test option, while others had an installation option.

Photoshop has started to download, but it was really long. More than a half hour. As the next app started the download, I have all cancelled, thinking ' is it redownloading all only program I have? "and you press the"launch "(or"Run"? Sorry, my installation is in French, and I don't know what it is in English) option that had replaced the Test one on Photoshop. And IT... launch Photoshop.

So I was wondering... What the devil did it right? It was impossible to determine if I had these installed programs and has decided to re - install everything again, or what?

Azma option to test or try the version in English, to allow users to download and try out the trial version of the software available through creative cloud.  Adobe Application Manager should be to detect applications that are already installed, but it appears in your case for once it doesn't detect the applications already installed.

If I read correctly this thread you upward and the work is that correct?

  • Adobe Application Manager cannot find Acrobat XI Mac Pro on MBP

    Hello

I tried several times, and personal support from Adobe yet contacted chat, to solve this problem, but when I run Adobe Application Manager, still shows that I have not installed Adobe Acrobat XI Pro for Mac.  He told me that my serial number is valid, but that it cannot find AA XI Pro on my MBP.  When I run Adobe Acrobat Pro XI for Mac on my MBP, I get a similar message.  Adobe Acrobat Pro XI is not yet in the list of applications for which I could possibly enter a serial number.  So, I wonder - Adobe has not yet clued in its own applications that he has released Acrobat Pro XI?

Seems all kinds of descendant and not professional to me.

    See you soon,.

    Hussar

Since the message that you have described, it shows that you have purchased the upgrade for Acrobat XI. You are eligible for an upgrade if you already have an earlier version of Acrobat. More details here - http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatpro/buying-guide-upgrade-pricing.html

If you already have an earlier version of Acrobat, select this version from the drop-down list and provide the serial number of this version. For example, if you have Acrobat X and you decide to upgrade to Acrobat XI, then launch Acrobat XI you will get this message. Select Acrobat X and provide the serial number for Acrobat X so that your eligibility for discounted upgrade is checked.

If you do not have the earlier version of Acrobat, and yet you have purchased an upgrade, please contact customer support to solve this problem.

  • I have Photoshop CS5 and when I try to launch it after recovering from a crash of the system, I get a popup telling me I have to use Adobe Application Manager.

I have Adobe Application Manager and he wants to give me Photoshop CS6.  I couldn't find a way around THIS so I let Application Manager download and install CS6.  Who wants to be activated but (understandably, I suppose) wants my serial number.  All I have is the number for CS5 so I guess that since I was more or less fed force CS6, that will be fine.  It is not the case.  I went to the Chat facility but told me that they support only the activation problems and/or installation, and since my CS5 (although not functional) is enabled in fact, it's on the forums.  Help?

I finally got things market so I thought that I would return at least to indicate what was necessary in case someone else is in a similar mess.

I had NOT reinstalled CS3 as the two guests and all indications here in the forum suggested that it would be enough just to enter the serial number for CS3.  As it happened in this case - probably because of the goulash that my system has been transformed an operating system crash and reinstall - which would not be good enough.

I reinstalled CS3 and launched so I'm the guest of serial number and has been able to do successfully 'Activé' (see the first picture below)

I wasn't able to get CS3 "registered" (see the second image), but the guest suggested javascript as suspects or internet access, and my presence here in the forum proves neither of those to be wrong. The failure of the connection indicates it may be trying to connect to a resource for activating long dormant CS3 (or dead) at Adobe?

I then restarted CS5 and once I gave my serial number, he was finally happy with any complaint of needing a product calling prior to the upgrade (see third picture)
