Cannot open a shared document numbers

Hello

I made a document of numbers with the last OS X Version of numbers and saved to my iCloud drive. I shared with certain people and sent the links to the edition. However, now I can't open the document more with OS X Version of numbers, but I can open it even with the iCloud Web portal. If I put in memory, but I want to open the document in the numbers of 'real' too.

What's up with that? Any ideas?

POM

Maybe you have an old version of numbers on your Mac in a subfolder in your Applications folder. Make sure that you try to open the document with the version of numbers which is located in your main Applications folder.

Another possibility is that your Mac to iCloud connection has been lost, somehow. In system preferences > iCloud, try to log in to your account and then insert it again.  Then give it some time to sync and try opening the document again.

If you use v5 Pages to send these documents, then no using any other application than Pages v5 can open them. Pages ' 09 users are out of luck, because the documents are not backward compatible and if you use Pages v5.5.3 or later, your default document format is more compatible with anyone using Pages v5 on the Mavericks.

If no change is expected by the recipients, then just send a PDF document. It is the first choice for document exchange, as everyone has a PDF reader. Otherwise, if the Assembly is planned, then just send .docx Word documents.

  • Microsoft cannot open or save documents more because there is not enough disk space or memory

Using the Chrome browser in Windows 10 attachments to emails sent to my Gmail account are not available. The error message is the same mentioned in the first request:

"Microsoft Excel cannot open or save all the documents more because there is not enough disk space or memory.

The solution is simple - it's just a stupid error message that has nothing to do with the real problem, and the problem is actually a feature of microsoft, is also often:
-office now has a kind of function 'protected mode', which prevents the office applications to do things under certain conditions.
-One of them is to stop excel from opening attachments from outlook :-(

Go to options Excel, the Privacy Center, settings and uncheck all options on "protected from view.

Save and voila, suddenly excel can open all the files and has absolutely no problem with your GB of free memory.

Thanks to the brilliant mind who has designed such an awkward feature with the awkward error messages and options ultra deep to clear - and of course no simple help.

  • Cannot open the keynote document?

For some reason I can't open some keynote documents. They appear as gray while others can I open black. No idea why this is happening?

    Thank you

    Chris

The usual reason for this is that they are not the Keynote files, so Keynote can't open them.

Your screenshot, they look like text documents.

To see what they contain, go to the folder of documents using the Finder and double-click the files and they will be opened in the respective applications out there.

  • Cannot open the XPS Documents in Vista 64-bit

I have Windows 64 - bit Vista Home Premium installed on my computer.

I need to access an XPS document that an employee sent as an attachment, but the file is asking me to choose an application, even when the XPS Viewer is defined as the default opening program.

I already double checked that the XPS Viewer is active.

    I've been on this site,

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/967190

The site reportedly has a fix for 64-bit with this problem, but the problem seems to be specific for .net 3.5 SP1. My computer says I have .net 3.0 SP2, that article mentions. The article, however, does not seem to indicate that the fix will work for 3.0 SP2. It seemed unclear to me on this issue

    So, two questions:

If I have installed the fix, it works in SP2, or just the SP1,

Is it still my problem first?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

If you do not. NEt Framework 3.5 SP1 installed, the patch at this link does not work and you said that you only. NEt 3.0 SP2.  You need to install .NET framework 3.5 SP1 before you can try this difficulty.  Here is the download site: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=ab99342f-5d1a-413d-8319-81da479ab0d7&DisplayLang=en.  Simply follow the instructions and to do it properly.

Once you have. NEt Framework 3.5 SP1 installed and running, you can then try the fix that you posted in this link to fix the problem with the opening of XPS documents.

Frankly, I don't know if this is your problem or the fix will fix it (but it might).  It coud be a problem with the e-mail program (what name and version you use)?  It could also bee a problem with Excel.

For any other question about Excrl issues, please post in the Excel section of the Office of the Discussion Group at: http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.excel.misc&lang=en&cr=US where experts in Excel will be more than happy to help you with your problems.

    I hope this helps.

  • Windows XP cannot open the Windows documents

I want to activate the e-mail account Windows XP from my husband open the documents and Excel files created by newer versions of Windows.  Is there a way to do this?

If you make reference to documents created with Office 2007 applications or Office 2010 (Word, Excel), you need the free viewer (if you don't have any version of Word or Excel) or the free compatibility pack (if you do not have Word and Excel).
Compatibility Pack for use with Office XP, Office 2000 and Office 2003 (allows editing/viewing of files Office 2007/2010)

Word Viewer (point of view but not modify files Word 2007/2010)

Excel viewer (point of view but not modify files Excel 2007/2010)

More information (viewers for other office applications)

You must have installed Word, or a Word Viewer.

And make sure that the file Associations are set correctly.

  • Cannot open a PDF document in Windream using Adobe Reader (11.0.9)

Our company uses a system of records for storage management and archiving of documents. Since the update to the latest version of Adobe Reader (11.0.9) last week, we are unable to open a PDF with Adobe Reader. An AcroRd32.exe * 32 process is initiated, but the document will not open or view. Finally, we suffer a system crash. Open any other PDF document (not stored in archives management system) using Adobe Reader is fine. Documents can also be opened in the system of management of archives using Adobe Acrobat.

Try to disable the Protected Mode (see response to Pat here: anyone having problems with the update to Acrobat Reader 11.0.9 on Win7 X 64?) and see if that helps...
