  I too had d same problem but I solved it later on myself.
  Here's how to: -.
  1-make sure you have intel network driver I installed your windows it pc. Download (on any other pc and transfer and install in it) and install it in your pc respective windows 8.   I have MS office 2007. Pdf files do not open if I have MS Word open. Similarly, the pdf files automatically closes if I open a Word file and then move the cursor over the open pdf file.  I tried to install the two adobe reader 11 and DC. Interestingly, the pdf file opened (with simultaneous MS Word file) if I use adobe reader 8. This problem showed up today. I use windows 7 and put to level to windows 10 last week. No idea why this is happening.

  Could you run the cleanup tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat cleaning - Adobe Labs tool first remove any versions of Reader installed on your computer, and then reinstall CD player.

  After installation, launch Reader and try to disable the Protected Mode under ' Edit > preferences > (protection) "and see if that helps.

  We would like to get some more information from you to help solve your problem. You better, please answer the following questions.

  ·         What is the disk you use to reinstall?

  ·         Is this a recovery or reinstalling the disc you are using?

  ·         When exactly do you get this error message?

  ·         What is the edition of Windows Vista, you try to install?

  ·         How old is the drive that you are using?

  ·         How are you starting the installation process?

  After researching the error 0x8007000D code is essentially due to file corruption and a problem with the drive itself.

  First check if you have scratches or dust on the disc and clean the surface and try again.

  To check if the disk is wrong, you will need to copy the contents of the DVD to the hard drive and try to install using that.

  To perform a flat installation of Windows Vista, follow these steps.

  Note The hard disk must have at least 3 GB of free space on the disk for the Windows Vista installation files. The hard disk must have at least 15 GB of additional disk space to install Windows Vista.   I tried for the past 5 hours to reinstall CC with Lightroom and Photoshop CC after a fresh install of Windows 7 64-bit.  Creating cloud app gives me the options Setup lightroom 4 and CS6.  I deleted/removed/uninstalled CC app a few times and followed the instructions to remove the folders which gave me a login screen empty.

  Here is my configuration: Windows 7 SP1 64 bit (premium) with a chip i7; 16 GB of RAM; GeForce 4 with 2 GB of RAM.

  The CC app works very well, but still it gives me the opportunity to download 4 Lightroom and Photoshop CS6. CC versions are not yet visible on the app.

  This issue is noticed if compatibility mode is set to Windows XP. so, let's check once to end of confirmation.

  Quit Adobe Creative Cloud app.

  Right-click on the Adobe Creative Cloud icon.

  Select Properties ...

  Then click on the compatibility tab.

  Make sure compatibility mode is defined on Windows 7

  
  

  If this is set, set it to Windows 7, click on apply and then OK.

  
  

  Then click on Adobe Creative Cloud icon and select "Run as Administrator" and check.
