Cannot permanently change the location. Failed guard in Evansville, Indiana

before the recent Mozilla Firefox update of my new glasses homepage displays local news. When I said a search for local businesses, I always sites of the region of southwestern Ohio. Now, I went by default to Evansville Indiana and nothing that I makes no difference. I manually change the location and it works until I have shut down the browser or whenever history is cleared. I like not having history clear automatically when I close Firefox. This has never been a problem before the update. I tried to restore the previous version, but it made no difference. Any suggestions?

  • Cannot change the location of the RIP file in Windows Media Player after losing Windows Home Server

    I got my place to rip on my windows-based server that had catestrophic failure. So I went to another WHS that I have. But since then, I could not change the location of the file rip in my Media Player.

    It seems that the problem is that it fails to find the location of the old server, gone, when I switch to tab EXTRACT music in WMP options. I say this because it take a long time to draw only a tab. And when I click the button change under music Rip to this place, it does nothing. I get no errors, but nothing happens. It is as if I never pressed the button. There is no delay or anything. And I can go and do other things immediately.

    How can I convince Media Player than the location should not be verified so I can put a new location to rip music to?

    Hello

    Thanks for the reply. I tried the steps you recommended. But unfortunately, it has not changed the problem.

    However, she, it was pretty clear that something of the old MSS was always in the way. You could tell by the delay that made the selection of menu. So I went in MP, to organize - manage the music library. And sure enough, still listed as the default location is the old MSS. I've selected and tap on delete. Without delay, he removed and automatically changed the default location to a local drive. Problem solved! Now I can put my location of rip at ESM again and all is well again.

    Thanks again for your help.

  • Cannot change the location of the directory '< location software library > '.

    Grid 11g, I want to modify or remove a software library, via the interface (implementation service-administration), grid control, but it is in use. Any idea where I can find how it is being used and by what?

    error:
    Cannot change the location of the directory "< location of library software >. The location of the directory is currently being used by one or more entities.

    Martin

    If you want to delete a directory of software library I think there first purged/deleted. Check http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17559_01/em.111/e16599/appdx_sw_lib.htm chapter delete and purge of the entities software library and chapter configuration out of a location of library software.

    Images can be stored in the software library and is, my words, checked template that allows you to quickly set up a new environment. This can be a database, the server of the OAS, material etc..

  • You cannot change the location of the Web site folder

    Greetings,

    When I change the location of the Web sites folder in the server application by changing ' Store Site Files In: ", the files in the default location of continue to load and not those of the location, I've specified. The location, I put is saved in the server application. I can leave the Server app and start again and see the location I specified, but it does not use this place.

    Thank you

    Read https://help.apple.com/serverapp/mac/5.1/#/apd1AB74EDF-C5B3-4C20-AD02-42120FF3B2 08 and try to stick to these principles as much as possible.

    The steps under does not include the method to change the location of the root folder, as Apple has as focus not exactly that.

    Add or change Web pages on your Web site

    To change what is available on the Web site, change the files in the folder to root for the document to your Web site. Folder document root is the folder that contains your website files.

    Use the server application to find the root of your Web site. Default document root is/Library/Server/Web/Data/Sites/Default /. In addition, when you create a site and let the application Server automatically creates a new folder for you, he places the site filesin/library/server/Web/Sites/data/domain_name/.

    1. Selection of sites in the sidebar the Server app.
    2. Select the Web site, and then click the button change .
    3. Click the arrow to the left of the menu pops - up Store Site files in. The Finder opens at the location the document root. Edit files in this folder to change what is available on the Web site.

    They wanted to provide a foolproof server where effective MDM can be performed. Therefore, they went very far to ensure that it should not be messed with. The integrity of services that ensures the effective management of Apple devices are paramount.

    Therefore, I think that you try unfairly to move the part of the services and server would not allow you to do so, as the Profile Manager and Wiki should still work after you have set up to host your Web sites (which Apple documentation referred to as virtual hosts).

    Thus, you need to configure the "Virtual Hosts" with their root of the document.

  • You cannot change the location of the bridge CS5.5 Cache for other than c:\user\

    For some reason, I am unable to change the location of the Cache of bridge CS5.5 outside my c:\user\ folder. Other readers of the system are not detected by bridge. This was not the case before. I used to have another dedicated drive. I have reset the preferences, delete the cache, but still they are not helping. Please help as my C: drive is an SSD with limited space and contains only BONES! There is no problem with the PS or PR, only bridge.

    If it worked before that have you changed?

    I know there are some problems in bridge with users placing file temp so place other than the C drive.  Known bug.

  • Change the location of several pictures at the same time?

    I see how to change the location of a photo at a time. Is it possible to change the location of several pictures at the same time?

    Thank you

    Phil

    Select the photos and info - enter the location (or any other field of the info) and it is applied to all photos

    This is described in using Photos - a good place to get help with Photos

    View and add information about the photos

    To view or change information for the photos, you select one or more photos, and then open the information window.

    • Open the Info window: Double-click a photo to view it, and then click the Info button in the toolbar or press on command I.
    • Add or change information: Change the following.

      • Title: Enter a name in the title field.
      • Description: In the Description field, type a caption.
      • Favorite: Click the Favorites button to mark the photo as a favorite. Click the button again to deselect.
      • Keywords: Enter the keywords in the keywords field. When you type, Photos suggest keywords that you have used before. Press enter when you have finished a keyword. To remove a keyword, select it and press DELETE.
      • Faces: Click on and type a name to identify a face. Click on several times, and then drag the identifier of the face different faces to identify many faces in a photo.
      • Location: Enter a location in the location field. When you type, Photos suggest places you can choose. To change a location, you can search a different location or change the location by dragging a PIN on the map. To remove location information, delete it or choose Image > location, then choose Remove location or back to the original location. You cannot assign a location if your computer is not connected to the Internet.

  • How can I change the location of the files? (buffers, history)

    I want to change the location of my history and my SSD to a flashdisk buffers. [Reason: to overcome the wear and back on my SSD.] How can I do this?
    Open question: what other locations of files (paths) I should change?

    You can disable the disk cache by using "Clear history of Firefox closing" to clear the Cache.

    You can check that on the topic: cache page (entry of the disk cache is missing).

    History and bookmarks are stored in the same file and cannot be separated.

    You'd have to move the complete record of the Firefox profile to this other player or use the private browsing mode.

    It's probably a good idea to regularly make backups of valuable profile in case of disk failure data.

    Flash drives also do not last forever and are also generally slower.

    I would like to change the location of my favorites. In the past, I managed by typing in "subject: config ' and then enter a name, preferably new"browser.bookmarks.file"with a value of my new location of the bookmark file. With the 3.6.13 version, it does not work. How can I do this?

    You cannot change the location of the Favorites file, the bookmarks places.sqlite file must be in the profile folder.

    Windows on Windows 7 firewall - ' Home or work (private) networks are not connected and 'Public networks' are connected. This prevents the PC to be seen on my home network.

    How can I change the location of the home network be connected?
    I have internet access but cannot connect to a network.

    Go to "Network and sharing Center" > click on "Customize" > change the location of the 'Public', 'private '.

    Edit
    Sorry the above is garbage, I was on mode vista.

    Try, 'network and sharing Center' in the section 'Show your active networks' - it can show 'Public network' or 'work '. If, so click on the one which is indicated and select "home network".

    Note:
    If the other PC on your network are Win XP you can change the name of working group of win7 in "MSHOME".
    IE "network and sharing Center" > click on the arrow down to the network discovery > change settings > tab computer name > change.

  • change the location of the rman oracle 8i

    Hello

    I'm taking a copy of a production oracle 8i (don't ask!) database with RMAN and then restore that backup to a different server. This works well when the backup is performed to a folder G:\RMAN\ on the prod and then restored from a folder of G:\RMAN\ dev. But I would like to have the backup of the restoration of F:\RMAN\ on dev.

    I can't find a way to tell RMAN backup is in a situation of difference, the "catalog" command doesn't seem to work for me

    What are the backup commands that I use

    run

    {

    allocate channel t1 type disk;

    SQL 'ALTER SYSTEM ARCHIVE LOG CURRENT;

    change archivelog than any overlap;

    backup format 'g:\rman\QMSLB_DB_%t_DB' (database);

    BACKUP ARCHIVELOG ALL FORMAT 'g:\rman\QMSLB_DB_%t_ARCH ';

    Copy current controlfile to 'g:\rman\QMSLB_DB_CF ';

    }

    This version 8.1.7.4.1 forum works on Win 2003 R2

    any ideas?

    Thank you

    Dave

    For restores, RMAN will look ONLY in the catalog, so in your situation the controlfile.

    The allocate channel command applies only to the DO NOT backup to restore.

    Also you can not UNCATALOG a backuppiece in 8i and ADDED it to a different location.

    One way would be to share the source disk. and make a networkdrive of G to the source system.

    Also, the error message clearly indicates he's looking on the place where the files should be.

    They are there?

    As far as I KNOW, you cannot change the location of the backup in 8i items. PERIOD.

  • Change the location TNSNAMES.ora (discoverer 11g)

    Hello

    I have a requirement where I need to change the location of tnsname.ora.

    I installed Oracle Fusion Middleware install (11.1.1.7) and then set the field to the Finder only.

    Tnsnames.ora location is $DISCO_INST_HOME/config/tnsnames.ora

    Another use of symbolic link, can I change the configuration to change the location of the TNSNAMES.ora file.

    Concerning

    Sumit SALAUN

    Hi Sumit

    I have additional information for you, with the permission of a contact I within the Oracle.

    Yes, you can use the TNS_ADMIN environment variable.

    Indeed, in the [middleware_home]\[oracle_instance]\config\OPMN\opmn\opmn.xml that it points to the location that you mentioned.

    You can update the location of the file

    Run: [middleware_home]-[oracle_instance\bin\opmnctl reload (to pick up the new changes in the opmn.xml file

    the next session of discoverer (dis51ws) began to read the changes.

    If this fails, stopall opmnctl, then opmnctl startall

    I also checked on other files that I mentioned earlier. We believe that they are not necessary for the discoverer, or why they would have this environment variable defined here as the repositories of metadata of Fusion Middleware use JDBC. They must be to another generic use of Weblogic or custom java applications.

    The binary discoverer/server only read /sessions opmn.xml - so simply by changing opmn.xml should be enough

    Best wishes

    following steps should be ok
    (1) create pfile from spfile;
    (2) remove the unnecessary params
    (3) configure log_archive_dest_1
    Note: do not remove the db_recovery_file_dest, db_recovery_file_dest_size, and parameters. they may be required at another time
    (4) stop and start your database using this new pfile
    (5) check if the archives are in one place
    (6) create spfile and bounce database to ensure that it uses spfile

    Please try all the steps test env first and go ahead in the event of success, to production
