Cannot play mp4 on Mac, or question is size file?

Hi all. I made a few short videos successfully but now am confused. I exported a project first Pro CC as an mp4 file. It is in the Adobe folder on my (older) iMac. It's (a little big?) 63 MB. I can't play. I tried double clicking on the file and the file-> open with QuickTime. Nothing; not same whirling Rainbow. Ideas? Thank you.

Thanks for posting to the top of the clamp.

Unfortunately I did not read the fine detail have nothing to give you.

I can see that it is 'Custom '.

Just try a H264 Youtube Preset right.

Execution of media classic version 6.4.9.0 with Windows XP PRO with SP3 Version 3311.  These files ran before the recent windows updates.  I use Classic as a tool to learn how to improve my golf swing.  This is the only version where I can stop/reading/playforward and watch a frame at a time.  I have a file with Tiger Woods starts idling and I look to improve my game.  The error message indicates that the MP4 CODEC is missing.  Can update do I have to remove to make it work again or where I find the missing codec to download?  All other files are working except the MP4.

  • QuickTime can play mp4 (AAC AVC) file normally but was unable to convert this file.

I had a file mp4 AAC (LC) + STROKE (high @L5, CABAC/11RefFrames, resolution 1280 * 800), my QuickTime (Version 10.4 (855)) can play normally on Mac 10.11.4. But when try to export this file mp4 with QT to 720 p or 480 p, it failed and reported the error message "cannot decode media data cannot be decoded." It can be damaged.'.»

QuickTime can play well, it means that this file can be decoded normally and successfully. But when export in 720 p or 480 p, this means that this transcoding is inescapable (1280 * 800-> 1080 * 720 or 640 * 480). It's weird.

Is there a limitation of QuickTime but not any official introduction to this topic? How can I solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

I was troubleshooting video playback issues throughout the morning after the reconstruction of a machine with a fresh install of W7 Ultimate, shot a few questions there.

The first and foremost reason I couldn't play THE VIDEOS was due to the ATI Rage video card that was in the machine, proved that this card was not compatible for playback of DVD video on W7.  No problem with the system of video files (.avi, .mpg, .mp4, etc.), only reading DVD.  Disabling this card and media player running with a standard VGA device allowed me to play regular DVD movies very well.

Another question, I stumbled on was with burned copies of the DVD, it turned out that my system DVD players, (2, one is a HP630E and the other is a typical ATAPI DVD DD internal 8 x 16), have a problem with playing movies engraved on DVD - RW discs.  Playing discs DVD-R worked well on this system.

So in your case I try to disable the video device and let the system first use a VGA Standard, if your video plays well then check with the making of video for a updated driver device, saying "you have made any changes" does not mean that the system did not have a bad patch somewhere...
