Cannot print full size

I have a printer of widebodies HP B9180 on which I'm doing one 11 x 14 print on paper 11 x 17. My problem is that it will print 8 x 10. Someone in the HP forum suggested checking the box 'ladder to the media', but only, which reduces the size 8 x 10.

Under print settings, I tried to change the paper, but that is not good. In my view, that the problem is that the preview area shows the size 8.5 x 11 and I do not know where to change this.

Suggestions would be welcome.

Jane

Click on the 'Print Settings' button, and then select a different paper size.

Hi there @DFK43 , welcome to the Forums!

I saw your post and I would like to offer my suggestion for the problem you are having with printing photos in color or black and white.

First of all, to perform all the updates of Windows, select those optional too:

Windows Update - ' do I need to check the updates?

Try printing now, if the problem persists, try:

    1. uninstalling the printer software

    2. restart your PC

    3. Reinstall in 2 ways:

    (a) HP printer install wizard for Windows

    (b) HP Officejet Full Feature software and driver

  • 2135 HP all-in one: cannot print full Page A4, but can scan A4 with FULL Page

    Hi HP & friends,.

Hello I am using 2135 HP all-in-one printer with windows 7 64 bit,

I have some problems, and maybe I need your help to solve my problem.

First of all, I'm trying to scan or copy the test page, I can't scan A4 paper with full size and then I'm trying to reset the configuration on the scan of the letter in A4 format and voila I can scan using A4 format with full screen.

But my problem occurs when I try to use the file that I scan to be printed, I have a cut off area or empty the bottom of the page. Hmm I have a set configuration with A4 before printing the document.

I am trying to attach images to show on my problem.

Thanks for the attention and the solution

    Hello

Your printer model do not support a full borderless printing, must not exceed the specified margin and it is a limitation of the hardware.

You can find his record of handling of paper below:

    Borderless printing: No
    http://www8.hp.com/in/en/products/printers/product-detail.html?oid=7174564#!tab=specs

Minimum printer margins are 2.96 mm high, right and 14.5 mm (1.45 cm) for the lower left margins and margins of the page, the printer cannot exceed and to print on these margins, see the section called paper handling > margins below:

  • HP 7520 - cannot print custom size of the photo tray photo

I am trying to print a photo of small 2.5 cm wide on a 4 x 6 "piece of photo paper. If I choose the "custom" paper size then I can select 4 x 6 on the right and put 4 copies of the photo on the sheet.  But when I click on print it always goes for the main paper tray and then gives me an error (I emptied the main tray because I don't want it to be used). I don't want to use a large sheet of paper.

How can I force to take the paper from the photo bin? I tried every setting I can think. The selection of paper size automatically assumes that it is the size of the photo I want! If I choose 4 x 6 as my paper size it only allows me to print one full page. I need a tiny picture, preferably several times on one page. Without doubt, I should be able to say print the picture of this exact size and paper tray! Can anyone help please?

I use the HP Photosmart 7520 and Windows 7. Thank you.

    SeoulGal,

Thanks for the quick response. You have me a little confused, so I just want to clarify - initially you were trying to print on 4 X 6 paper, you then changed to 10 x 15, because the paper was not shooting from the photo tray? I assume you mean 10x15cm which is always the same size from 4 x 6 paper.

Anyway I understand that he won't shoot the photo tray paper, you place the tray in the photo tray when selecting to print? Have a look here at how change printer settings so it pulls the correct status bar: Print the Photos saved on your computer (Windows)

Please don't forget to take a look at the paper handling section in the printer Specifications as 2.5 photo size you are interested in is not, see here: 7520 Photosmart e-all-in-one printer printer Specifications

I could open my Windows Live Photo Gallery and play with the settings of the picture, when I select option 4 x 6 as you, I only get the option for "picture full page. Now when I select the letter or 8x10inches I am then given more options 2-4x6s, 1-8 x 10, 9-wallets and Board contact etc.. So that leads me to believe this is a limitation of the software.

Have you tried using another photo program to see if this allows you to get you exactly what you want? I open HP Photo Creations on my computer and did the following:

    1. click on the option of high prints

    2. navigate to multiple display prints and select display multiple impressions of grid.

    3. click on customize and print

    4. along the top, you are given the option to choose size, please make sure that the value is 4 x 6. See below

    5. now under the advance printing options, go ahead and select the following settings:

    6. you are also able to change the number of pictures you want per sheet, I've now fixed it 2. If you want to only 1 copy of the photo under Copies change this to 1

    7. now you can go ahead and select print (remember under the parameter to select the right printer tray)

You are now able to print the smaller picture on paper photo 4 x 6 size the correct status bar? I look forward to hearing from you, fingers crossed

  • the two laser jet (P1006) and deskjet (3050) will only print full size 1/4 page.

It seems whatever I printed two printers will produce a page that contains the item to print only about 1/4 the size of the entire page.  It presents itself as a full page in the preview before printing.

    I have a desktop HPE-510 with Win7 64.

"update printer drivers" see the two printers have up to date drivers.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Hello richkl1,

To start we should watch the paper size the program tries to print to. navigate to the printer, once in the printer preferences preferences, you will want to go to features (although the exact name may vary depending on the printer). Features, it should be an option called paper size. Make sure that the paper size that is printing software is correct.

Let me know the results of this and from there, we can go.

  • How to print full-size in Gallery windows live photos (current version)

I feel everything simply perplexed. Clearly, Miss something.

I can't find any button, menu, etc. to adjust the size of the photo I want to print when I'm in the dialog print drop down. Not 100%, 50%, or any other adjustment of the size.

For example if I have a picture that is 2 x 2 "and I want to print using its actual size on a sheet of letter size paper - I can't find a way to do this...

the application extends the picture beyond the borders of the paper - cropping (with the 'fit the picture frame' option checked) or if this option is "unchecked" - it extends from the photo on the edges of the paper distort in a gross enlargement.

This is also true to print with a reduction in the size of the picture - say 50%...

    can anyone help?

    Hello

The technical specifications list the print margins, the printer may not exceed the margins you can find listed in the paper handling > print margins:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-DeskJet-ink-advantage-1510-all-in-one-printer-series/5285089/model/5285090/document/c03775352/

As you can see below in the section of handling paper, borderless printing is not supported for the printer:

    http://WWW8.HP.com/emea_middle_east/en/products/printers/product-detail.html?OID=5385210&JumpID=oc_r1002_emea_middle_easten_c-001_r0001#! tab = specifications

This is not a defect, these are the limits of the printer that you can find listed by its specifications.

  • cannot print pictures of different size

I have a Photosmart 7520 and cannot find a way to print different size of my Photo Gallery view or scan pictures.   I only have the print option "full page".    I visited the store and see the printers like mine to give several size options.

    I have Windows 7.

You will need only two images on the portfolio letter model.

You will also have more directly from the printer options when you insert a memory card.
