Cannot print the XPS document. Error: First save the document.

Original title: PROGRAM: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\XPSVIEWER. EXE (2008)

Even though same C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\XPSVIEWER. EXE is displayed as being installed on my system, every time I try to print an XPS document (which has been either to download or save before) the system says that I must save the document and will not let me print it.

Shekar,

Thanks a lot for the answer of the year.  After reviewing your suggestion, I did further investigation and found that the problem seems to be related to the fact that FIREFOX is my default browser.  Very briefly, when you attempt to print to the FIREFOX WARNING saying that the file is a FILE XPS one of asking "FIREFOX HOW can" by selecting the option 'OPEN' the system asked me to choose what program to use and when I choose C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\XPSVIEWER he returned to the "FIREFOX HOW can" with the file window.

However, WHEN I OPEN THE FILE using INTERNET EXPLORER (7), the file opens, and I can print with my default system printer.

I'm waiting for your answer before be displayed as "ANSWERED" thank you once again with the year

When I print an xps document, I lose the first characters of the print on the left side. It does not seem serious if I'm on XP or Windows 7. Looks good on the screen, even if the impression is completely to the left of the page.

Maybe the file is created without a margin to the left so the limits of the printer it cut? If it is, how can I change the margin during the creation of the file? I tried different printers with the same result.

    Hello

    1. are you able to print other documents?

2 have had any changes made to your computer before this problem?

Try the reinstatement of OLE controls to correct the above error.

Method 1: register the OLE control
    To do:
    1. click Start and type regsvr32 ole32.dll in the search field.
    2. press enter.

Check if this helps you to print from Windows Live Mail. This usually solves the problem. If you are still having the same problem, follow the remaining steps.

Method 2: disable the script debugger

    1. in the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
    2. on the Advanced tab , click on to clear display of each box script error notification, and then click OK.

Method 3: Verify that Active Scripting, ActiveX, and Java are not blocked by Internet Explorer

Active scripting, ActiveX, and Java are all involved in shaping the way information displays on a Web page. If they are blocked on your computer, it can disrupt the display of the Web page. Reset the Internet Explorer security settings to ensure that they are not blocked. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. start Internet Explorer.
    2. on the Tools menu, click on Internet Options.
    3. in the Internet Options dialog box, click the Security tab.
    4. click on default.
    5. click on OK.

Note: ActiveX controls and Java programs are disabled in the high security level in Internet Explorer.

Try to open a Web page where you previously received a script error. If you do not receive the error, the problem is resolved. If the problem persists, go to method 4.

Method 4: remove all temporary files related to Internet

    1. start Internet Explorer.
    2. in the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
    3. click on the general tab.
    4. under browsing history, click deleteand when you are prompted, click Yes to confirm.
    5. in the dialog box delete browsing history , under Temporary Internet files, click delete filesand when you are prompted, click Yes to confirm.
    6. under Cookies, click delete Cookies, and when you are prompted, click Yes to confirm.
    7. under history, click delete history, and when you are prompted, click Yes to confirm.
    8. click on closeand then click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.

If all goes well, you should be able to print now.

  • Could not save the picture. Cannot print the illustration.

Adobe. Why can't you fix this? I was not able to save a file EPS of Illustrator because I upgraded to 2014 CC last year. Customers ask EPS files and I have no real explanation as to why I can't provide one. I was surprised to see that it is a problem for years for some people, going back several versions. Something has cause this... An answer, that I was the last time that I have asked about it recommended that I just use. HAVE files instead. If this is what Adobe is trying to (gradually EPS) then great. Tell us if I tell customers the same thing. Tell customers that I can't save an EPS file because I can not understand how does not fly!

While you're there, Photoshop refuses to open the EPS files from the same update of CC2014. It is said he can't "parse" the file. Same question?

    Extremely frustrated.

Save on your hard drive is good.

Describing the text is thus (at least for logos).

    Options:

EPS is a file of 2 parts: a fully editable part of AI and an EPS not quite as fully editable. The part of the EPS will always be version 3, because it's the latest version. Only the part of AI will be version CC, CS6 or whatever.

When you want this really compatible with anything that EPS you throw, you want to save a version 3 EPS (not CS3). The file will be smaller and there will be no party GOT in there. Alone, this could reduce your problems. If you choose to save EPS in this way, always save an AI for your internal use, making changes or else.

Another thing: as the EPS is closely related to printing, you can still have a printer connected and powered when you save an EPS.

How to print words backwards without loss of resolution on the HP Officejet Pro 8500 wireless? Paint will allow printing in reverse, but poor resolution. I want to print the words in reverse order for rub - on stickers.

Deskjet 6980 driver is compatible with the Officejet 8500 and provides a checkbox 'Mirror Image '.  You can do the following: click on start, devices and printers, click with the right button on the Officejet 8500 and select properties from the Printer Ports.  Note the port settings.   Now, the devices and printers folder click on add a printer, a local printer, select the same port as the 8500 noted previously.  Now, click on Windows Update in the lower right.  It will take several minutes for the update to finish unless there is an error *.  Once the full update Select manufacturer HP (Hewlett-Packard no) and the Deskjet 6980.  Once the printer has been installed, you can click with the right button on the Deskjet 6980, properties of the printer, and then rename the "HP Deskjet 6980 series" to something else, maybe "Officejet 8500 Mirror Image", OK.  Right-click on 'Officejet 8500 Mirror Image' printer and select Printing Options, finish, check the 'Mirror Image' checkbox, apply and in the print task Quick Sets type a new name as mirror and then save.

After do you have two printers, one the 8500 standard driver that you can use for normal printing and the 'Mirror Image' version, which you can select when you print a T-Shirt transfer documents.

    * If an error 'Windows cannot find a list of the features of update' you can fix that as shown in this post.  I tried this fix and can confirm that it works.
