  • Cannot print wireless even if 6510 is connected to my network

    Hello

I bought a Photosmart 6510 who said I could print wireless and also use AirPrint for my iPhone.

I am running Windows 7, connected the printer on the network, run a test report which shows that everything is connected, strong signal, IP address, etc.  Everything looks good at this point.

When I try and add a printer through Windows and her request to connect through the network, I get to the point in the configuration where the IP address is required, but then he says: I can't sign in - cannot find the printer!

I have downloaded and run the troubleshooter of HP, but in vain.  None of the solutions work.

I can print when I connect to a USB port, but that defeats the purpose I have to drag the laptop to the printer, plug it, etc... not really what I signed up for!  Also iPhone can't find the printer, even if the phone, laptop computer and the printer are all connected to the network.

If anyone has the offerings that I'd love to hear from you.

    Thanks in advance.

Try to disable your firewall temporarily to see if it is the culprit.

  • HP Deskjet 2542: Cannot print wireless Deskjet 2542 after installing the new modem/router

We have recently installed a new Netgear modem/router and have not been able to print wireless since installation. I tried everything I could find on the forum and still no luck. Any help will be appreciated.

Replacement/change your wireless router, try here.

    http://www.HP.com/global/au/en/wireless/reconfiguring-system-Help3.html

Make sure that your router is set to a fixed channel wireless as the 1, 6 or 11, never 'auto '.  Try each of the channels one at a time.  Make sure they are spaced at least 5 feet.

However, if you have a gateway device (modem + router), all gateway devices are terrible for connectivity and wireless performance.   If this does not work, suggest you put this bridge in full bridge mode device and install your own router of high quality that YOU have full control over.

  • Mac cannot print wireless HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium

I have a wireless network of office with some Mac and some PC and an HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium.   During the initial Setup, the first Mac was able to print fine, but today, he was not able to print.

Two PC can print wireless with no problems.  Macs are struggling, but it's different for each:

2 mac - OSX 10.7.5) installed system Prefreences without problem printer.  Sent a print error-free job, but he blocked indefinitely in the buffer to 100% and never printed.   This Mac was able to print via USB.

We are on the same wireless network.  The printer is configured with a fixed IP address.  Any ideas?

    Hello whatkatiedoes,

I understand your frustration I want to gather some information so that we can begin troubleshooting.

Did you update firmware for your OfficeJet 8600 Premium? If this isn't the case, I wish that install you this, it was released 23/7/2013 click here to update the firmware.

Also we will go forward and restore the default network on your printer, go to the front panel of your printer and follow the steps below:

Menu Configuration > Tools > restore default settings

Now that we have a 8600 OfficeJet updated premium and have restored the default values. I want to you now to connect wireless using the Wireless, Setup Assistant which is also found in the front panel of your printer. Steps listed below:

Menu Setup > network > Wireless Setup Wizard

Once these steps have been performed, you can now try to re run the installation software. Here's the direct link for HP Officejet Pro Full Feature software and driver - Mac OS X 10.8. Please let me know the result and if it was successful, I hope to hear from you soon.

    Thank you

  • cannot print wireless to wireless using a but access point wired printing (pc) wireless technology is very well

I have a HP OfficeJet 8600plus N911a CM749A # product who has problems in this impossible to print wireless to wireless using an access point but Wired print (pc) wireless technology is fine. We have 4 pcs in a network cable that work very well try to print to the printer which is connected wireless. They installed the software and discovered the printer very well. When you try to install the printer on a Win8 Tablet and a laptop Win7 that neither would discover the printer, so I have two devices connected by ethernet cable and ran the facilities in the same way as the PC and installed everything and worked fine. But, after I disconnected the wire and reconnected or the other device wireless again (they go OK so I know that they get an address) when I go to print to the 8600 it says there is no communication to the printer. BTW, I can install (and installed) other (cable) HP printers on the network as the computer laptop and Tablet AUTODECOUVERTS and print... Yes, ideas on why it loses its Wireless communication to the wireless printer. He turns a few odd Protocol or discovered that did not pass on a wireless system?

Thank you for answering my question and I wanted to know was the brand of the router.  I suggest making sure the router firmware is up to date as well.

Here is a link to a post I did on the various ports used by HP printers for reference.

    -Incoming and outgoing Ports-

So all your work computers don't encounter this issue?  Once again, while in the router, verify that wireless isolation is not activated.  A question also, I do not see has anti-anti-virus/firewall you had on your main computer that you are using?  Maybe it's not the cause, but that depends on the software, too.

    -Security and Firewall.

You have all the exclamation points in your device manager?

Let me know what is happening when you try another access point.

  • Cannot print wireless but the scan works

Hello I have an Officejet 6500 a Plus which used to allow me to print wireless, but suddenly stopped.  I can scan to the computer but just can't print wireless.  I run a wireless network test report and the results are good.  When I run a test to check the wizard of the printer ink levels, I get a message indicating that the computer is unable to establish two-way communication with the device.  I turned the router, the printer and the laptop works, but nothing has changed. I also tried two different computers unsuccessfully. Any help is appreciated.

Hello, thanks for the suggestions.  I removed and downloaded the drivers once again and it started working.  Interesting that it was a problem on my two laptops, but at home was very good.  No idea what happened, but I had to re - install the drivers on both of my laptops.

Thank you very much for the help.  Good to know I'm not request around alone in the dark.

  • Cannot print wireless

I have a Dell with Vista 32.  I can print with my new J6450 all-in-one when it is connected to the computer, but not wireless.  Any help will be appreciated.

I think you need to go to hp.com and look for the printer model number and get the full package and it will ask to half way through installation if she's going to be connected through the USB connection or wireless.
