  You see an error message when trying to print/scanning?

  Try to follow the procedure mentioned below:

  1 - print from other applications like Ms Word/Notepad and see if you can print.

  2 - Check if there is an update available for Acrobat, launch Acrobat > go to the Help menu > click Find updates.

  3 - follow the steps that are given here: print troubleshoot PDF in Acrobat and Reader.

  4. If this does not work, try to repair Acrobat installation, launch Acrobat > click on the Help menu, then click on repair installation.

  What version of Apache tomcat zip you have extracted the service.bat and the tomcat6.exe the tomcat6w.exe? It seems that you are using the installation of java by default, and services tries to start using the 64 bit tomcat.exe.

(25 sept., 2012).  I tried to uninstall the printer drivers and reinstall them nothing will do.  That is what it is?

  This could be due to installation damaged the existing version of Silverlight on the computer. So, must uninstall completely from the computer and then try to reinstall.

  Can you tell us what your help program to print these PDF files? Adobe reader for example? The version of the program will help also greatly as well.
  Try this just in case where you use Adobe reader x.
  Open a PDF document. And to the toolbar above, select Edition, then Preferences.
  In the left pane, select 'General '.
  On the right side down, you will see an entry for 'Enable Protected Mode at startup,' with a checkbox next to it. Clear this check box, and then click ok. Try to print now and see if it works.
