  I hope this is the right forum.
  I'm doing some coding in Java to monitor a lock. I have a built tool that takes SQL and apply logic to a multi tool so so I never write code more to do what I want to do in our systems - just follow the successive executions of this app and intercept the error codes.
  
  in any case, I'm watching the locks in the database under certain conditions, but I'm not able to get Ibatis query on tables of v$.
  If I put ' select * lock in $ v' in Ibatis, it will come out ' select * of vlock' causing an ORA-000942: there is no error table or view.

  Applications of short (MDEX 6.4.1, CASE 3.2.1 6.4.1.2, tools and Framework 3.1.2 platform services) are running: port 8006, 8500, race 8888.

  PART 2)  On top of that when I try to run the server pubishing on JBOSS, start does'nt server and responds to error. If the das_id_generator table exists in DB for all 4 patterns.

  I had created a fresh scheme for publication but the jboss was still pointing to the old.

  I've updated this pointers in file @ /server/ atg atg - ds - ds.xml. Worked like a charm!

  The QUESTION 1 depended on question 2. Once I ran publishing and completed the full deployment on ICC, 1st edition got resolved.

  We went just to ESXi 5.1.0 build-1021289. We have installed MEM 1.1.2 and used to configure all of the iSCSI network and has chosen to use our BCM57810 10G cards for unloading rather than use the SW initiator. We are currently on firmware 5.2.6.

  We now see this error constantly in the vmkernel logs.

  We did all the additional configurations generally suggested - disabled ACK delayed, disable LRO, iSCSI timeout.
  I can't tell if it's having an impact on our performance or reliability. He sees not to be. However, these errors constantly fill our vmkernel logs.
  Out of curiosity, I went our adapter SW config and I do not get these more. We would really prefer to use unloading iSCSI broadcom cards now that the frames are supported. Has anyone seen else this error or know how I could get more details about this?

  The problem is the new broadcom driver, when you use the mode of unloading iSCSI.  VMware and Broadcom to release a patch.   For now just use the iSCSI SW.

  I use Oracle Database 10 g Express Edition. When I try to login in SQL command line using the identifier SYSTEM as it gets connected. but in this user I can't query the tables and grant permission to users.
  
  When I tried to interview I got the following error: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist*.

  The user of the network has the privilege of role DBA, which means that they can see/edit/delete any table in the case, as long as the request is correctly formed.

  If the database says that the table does not exist, the right table should maybe be requested - add the schema name (owner of the table, the database user who owns the table) in sqlplus:

  describe
  ...
  ORA-04043: object does not exist
  ...
  describe the .
  Name... Type

  There are many views catalogue to find information on what is in the dba_tables database lists the owner and every table table_name. And dba_objects has all types of object tables, procedures, functions and so on.

  Now, it works. I found the solution. Instead of using the text of two elements, I used global variables. I thought I already did, but I guess it was at the beginning, when I have not used the query in the From Clause. Thanks a lot to you Abdetu, Inol, and Andreas for assistance.   in SQL, you can try this:

  To get the result:

  select :v_name from dual
  

  The clause "with" brings together all the tables and ordered them all first, by the greatest number of columns
  The final query uses the rownum restriction so that it takes the first name from the table of results of the subquery.

  The restriction of rownum also exactly guarantees a result each time so that it will work with the variable binding.

• Cannot query the SQL Developer apex_application_files

  I use a function table to analyze several files, delimited by tabs, that I downloaded and saved on the apex_application_files.  The strange thing is that when I run the following query in the SQL workshop and the schema that owns the function table, then it returns the correct results.  However, when I try to do the same on the SQL Developer as the user who owns the table function it returns no result.  A short, generic version of the base query is:

  SELECT * from apex_application_files

  Is there some kind of definition I need to put in SQL Developer, that tempt me to appear as a certain user APEX, so that I can get results when I run the above query?

  I was able to get the data I need questioning wwv_flow_file_objects$ of in SQL Developer.

  I am training CBT Nuggets SQL basics (video #11) and cannot delete a table that I just created.  The command and the error are:

  drop table newprods;

  Error starting line: 1 at the controls.

  drop table newprods

  Error report-

  SQL error: ORA-00604: error occurred at the SQL level 1 recursive

  ORA-20000: cannot delete the object

  ORA-06512: at line 2

  00604 00000 - "an error occurred at the SQL level recursive %s.

  * Cause: An error occurred during the processing of a recursive SQL statement

  (a statement applicable to dictionary tables inside).

  * Action: If the situation described by the following error stack

  can be corrected, to do so; otherwise contact Oracle Support.

  As the HR user, I created two tables and created a FK constraint between them.  After truncating the table with this FK, I am unable to drop.  Even if I remove the FK, the error is the same.  Issing the command in SQL * Plus gives the same error.

  This is the first time that I have created a table from Oracle installation on this machine and is my first attempt to delete a table.  I did not create sequences, triggers, or views based on these newly created tables.

  Someone at - it ideas?

  This is probably because ENR1 isn't any table named ATHLETES and he did not qualify the name of the table with the schema name...

  I want to add 100 to leave with max 100 value, please help me in this regard.

  ID_CITY a VARCHAR2 is not a number.  Thus, although "less than ('10')" is correct for a VARCHAR2 ("equal or superior (10)"), where do you think the value '2' would go? '2' less than '10' is? Where would the '21' value?  Where would '56'?  Tip: '21' is less than '3' and 56 'is less than 6'.

  Also your first partition is defined as "less than ('1')", which makes no sense.

  Hi all I have installed oracle xe on a Windows Xp computer, asked me for a password and I typed: 123

  Then I have a myback.dmp filenamed backup and imported:

  IMP file = myback.dmp ' 123/sys AS SYSDBA"full = Yes log = implog.log

  As KarK says you should not use SYSTEM tablespace for the user data.

  If you can make after:

  Create new tablespace:

  Go to sqlplus and run (change the name, path, and a size suitable for you. You must have enough disk space for this new tablespace data file.) :

  CREATE TABLESPACE PETIT_FICHIER DATAFILE «TEST_TS_01.dbf» ' TEST_TS'

  SIZE 1512M LOGGING EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL SEGMENT SPACE MANAGEMENT AUTO;

  Create a new user:

  Go to sqlplus and run (change the name and the password for you):

  CREATE PROFILE 'TEST_USER' USER 'DEFAULT' IDENTIFIED BY ' * ' DEFAULT TABLESPACE "TEST_TS".

  TABLESPACE QUOTA UNLIMITED ON 'TEST_TS' TEMPORARY 'TEMP' ACCOUNT UNLOCK;

  GRANT 'CONNECT' TO THE 'TEST_USER;

  import of user data (user who has data (in the source database) you want to import) for this new user:

  IMP system/password@tesdb fromuser = = TEST_USER leader touser = myback.dmp log = implog.log

  and if it doesn't always fit you can resize your bigger like that new tablespace (once again if you have enough disk space):

  alter database datafile 'TEST_TS_01.dbf' 2512 M resizing;

  If you need to make several attempts, then rub new user before retry (sqlplus) with

  drop the TEST_USER user cascade;.

  and then recreate it.
