Cannot read serial communication in OHAUS Ranger 7000

I'm reading a balance OHAUS Ranger 7000 data. Communication is via a virtual USB port (drivers came with scale). I have configured the port according to the parameters of their manual series. But for some reason I'm not able to read all the data. The process is either expire or I read 0 bytes data. I have attached the snippet here. I'd appreciate really any suggestions on this.

I have tried several things and understood the mistake. The program worked when I wrote the one byte of orders at a time.

Trying to help my niece with the recovery disc for his laptop (elitebook). Rang HP support, but they ask me a serial number.
The problem is, I can't read it all. The sticker has partially melted when my (N) had to throw away the battery. We had to use kitchen gloves, it was so dang hot.
She can always use using the power adapter, but the laptop is stuck on the update 1 of 3.
What can we do to solve this problem. HP will not continue the call without the serial number, only 3 numbers or letters, that we cannot read.
Also, if you know batteries for it (overheating) why put the serial number above?
You would have to ask this question of a person at HP, I guess to get an answer. That is perhaps why it is in the BIOS as a second source - in case something happens to the label.
Personally, I've owned many laptops & never had a battery overheating in this measure, so I don't think it's a question that common. -

I'm working on a VI to extract data from a trade balance and store it in a table until I get 10 readings, the thing is that I get a 0 after each reading, occupying additional space in the table, I guess this is the LF and CR causing this problem but I couldn't remove it. I followed another post where a search string and replacement has been used, but so far I couldn't make it work. Data on the serial terminal and NI MAX seems fine. I enclose my VI as a screenshot of putty terminal. All the tips are greatly appreciated.

Finally nailed it, I just had to change the endpoint enable tank 'F' in the Visa configure the Serial Port.

I use a DAQ system OR cRIO-9074 with a NI 9870 4 ports RS232 Serial Interface Module and am programming with LabView 2012. I am currently looking for a scale with a RS-232 output that I can plug into the NI 9870 to receive and store measurement data. I would go with a balance Ohaus Ranger 7000, model R71MD3 number. However, looking at the list OR the drivers of the instrumentation, they have not anything for this model, if they do not have a number of other (apparently older) Ohaus scales.
Drivers are not needed for this scale? Or is there a RS-232 standard that can be used? I would like to ensure that this configuration will work before you buy the balance.

Using the 9870 in a cRIO essentially just adds 4 COM ports over the cRIO, which you can interface with NI-VISA help. Check this KB for more details. Most of the pilots 'instrument' is just a layer of abstraction or wrapper for the VISA low-level bed and written in courses. If an instrument driver does not already exist, you can implement a simple one yourself using VISA.
In this case, you can simply get the statement command/set the appliance uses and implement users VISA reads and writes. As long as the order is not too wide, it is quite simple and fast.
So, this configuration will definitely work, you just take the time to implement orders VISA yourself.

Programming of the digital I/o pins on the NOR myRIO-9100 for serial communication
I use NEITHER myRIO for my robot and I want to use four reading of the distance sensors that communicate via the serial port. But the myRIO has only two UART ports on board so I was wondering if there is a way to program the digital pins use for serial communication. Any help appreciated.

I'm trying to control a micro-positionnement made by Ludl stage. The model is Ludl MAC2000. It seems that the RS232 comunnication is implemented because I can talk to the controller using HyperTerminal. However, when I want to do the same thing through Labview, I can't answer the controller at all. The vi is roughly the same as the visa basic read/write in the example. Looks like a very similar problem in this post:
But the trick of nature of endpoint does not help in my case: I tried to toggle the termination character setting in the property node and different combinations of '\r', '\n' as termination characters, but nothing has worked so far.
Seems to me there is some difference between the interpretations of the same order to Hyper Terminal in Labview. But I just can't understand what it could be.
Anyone with a similar experience could give me some comments/suggestions? Thank you very much!
Another difference between hyperterminal and labview is the speed of sending characters.
LabVIEW breaks out the whole string to the controller
HyperTerminal is this character by character. So much slower and slow the controller can be affected by this.
You could add a loop around the writing of visa (to make it easy convert the string into a byte array outside of the loop and convert it to a string inside and you have a shipment char by char in LabVIEW

We went just to ESXi 5.1.0 build-1021289. We have installed MEM 1.1.2 and used to configure all of the iSCSI network and has chosen to use our BCM57810 10G cards for unloading rather than use the SW initiator. We are currently on firmware 5.2.6.
We now see this error constantly in the vmkernel logs.

The problem is the new broadcom driver, when you use the mode of unloading iSCSI. VMware and Broadcom to release a patch. For now just use the iSCSI SW.

This tool diagnosis and repair CD or DVD drive issues, when you can not burn or play CD or DVD discs when a disc is not found, not available or not connected.

Windows:
- Close all applications.
- Click Start > run.
- Open, type regedit in the text box and press ENTER. The Registry Editor opens.

- Select the key of the follower.
- Choose file > export.
- In the export registry file dialog box, select the branch selected under export range. Enter a name and location for the backup registry key, and then click Save.
- Right click on the key to the follower, and then choose Remove.
- In the dialog box confirm the key deletion, click OK.
- Close the registry editor.
- Open Adobe Digital Editions and reauthorize.
Macintosh:
- exit the Adobe Digital Editions software.
- Navigate to / Users / / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash.
If you use 10.7, see library access hidden files. Mac OS 10.7 and later. - Open Adobe Digital Editions and reauthorize.

On a model MC540LL/A iPod running iOS 6.1.6 I get this alert:
iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPod "IPod of Carl Carlson". Go to the summary in the iPod preferences tab and click on restore to restore the iPod to factory settings.
There is no summary tab or the restoration.
