Cannot receive emails from gmail addresses
I have the latest version of Thunderbird 38 and for some reason emails coming from gmail accounts (such as [email protected]) stopped coming through. I can send to gmail accounts, but I can't receive. It's my company email that I use. I don't have a gmail account with Thunderbird. Thank you... Rob
Did you check your own spam folder?
Depending on your account type, you should also check the server. You have not provided information about your type of account (yet).

I have a new computer... Pavilion p6112p with vista... I'm not able to receive all emails "answer". I can send a response, I receive an email from 'new', but not the email that I sent in the first instance, as the friends try to respond back to me. I went on and on properties everywhere wherever I can think of to try. I have McAfee and I also tried different settings on it.

I have Small Business Server 2011 Microsoft and Microsoft Exchange 2010. I'm unable to receive emails.
When I run the Mail Exchange acceptance test, results are:
Presentation has no mail: error message: server does not support secure connections
Should I renew a certificate? If so, how do I? I take more than one other company support and have no previous information.

LinkedIn sends updates to the son of group discussion with a "teaser" of comments posted in a comment. I heard somewhere that if I can convert email of the SENDER in the text only (no), then I will receive the full text published in this comment.
I have no need to do this for any other SHIPPER to my system.

A simple answer to your question is NO, it cannot be done for just a single sender. All messages would be treated the same.
You may have heard that the text version only contains the entire text of the html message. This is true if the message was composed in BOTH formats 'html' and 'text', (a multi-part format)
If the update of LinkedIn does not give the entire message in html format, change to display it as text will display any additional parts of the message.
The text version is the same message as the html version, but without the html tags.The following article has a section named

Windows Live problem - cannot receive emails from Server

Yesterday morning emails do not come in front of the server in Windows Live. L W are sending no problem.

You have a third-party program, probably Google Chrome or Firefox, which interferes with the Windows Internet connection.
When you see the message in offline mode , open Internet Explorer and then press Alt + F to open the file menu. If work offline is selected, deselect it. If it is not selected, select it, wait a few moments and then deselect. Now check if Windows Live Mail is still offline. If this is the case, repeat the cycle to select/deselect in Internet Explorer until Windows Live Mail receives the message.

We had a problem with our emails since day 1.
No one can send to another, they can receive other domain names, but not a user on the same domain or themselves.

iOS 9.2.1 receive emails from yahoo
Shortly after the installation of ios 9.2.1 my iPhone more than 6 cannot receive emails from yahoo. (Before that it worked very well for over a year.) My gmail works fine. I called Apple and they don't have any idea. They told me to back up my phone and the restoration and that had no effect. I did three times and lost half of my apps when it restored and still my yahoo doesn't the phone app.
I had download the YAHOO APP for it to receive email in the yahoo only application. Please help I worked on it for 3 days while I'm snowed in by JONAS of BLIZZARD in New Jersey. Thank you.

Cannot receive emails through my Outlook Express 6 account all of a sudden. I can send messages but not receive. I removed all mail rules and blocked senders and I still cannot receive anything. My server contacted me and told me to check my spam using their webmail account, because it was full. It seems that when I used the rules of the mail I had clicked on delete from the server, just "do not download". My spam folder was so full that I couldn't receive. Thanks for all your advice!
