Cannot save keyboard shortcuts

Everyime I try and save my keyboard shortcuts on Photoshop CC it tells me this:

0Mv8nv.png

I checked most of the files in my real Photoshop folder in my C drive but can't seem to find this file, I have to change. Most of those I guess would be that the issue is not that the problem is nothing I checked read only it would cause.

I don't end up uninstalling and reinstalling and right click the PS file as a whole and remove the read only mode but the problem persists.

I am the only user on this laptop and so should be the system administrator, the installation of things or to change things other than that he doesn't let me if it requires administrative permissions. So I don't quite know what's happening to cause this problem.

Running Windows 10 Photoshop 64 bit, just installed CC today so last version of said.

I should also mention that, when adding brushes/color chart/templates via the preset manager that they appear in the menu for them until I have to close and restart PS. When I restart it it's like I never charge anything in the first place. I don't know if these two problems are related, but it's super frustrating, had an older version of PS that gave me nothing but the questions that I've finally updated and it still gives me questions :/

That's your problem. It of in the wrong place and is in a protected area, and it is even not a keyboard shortcuts folder. Navigate to the correct location and register it should work in your area of Photoshop ID version of user preferences and remembered as the correct location. Here's a look the site right and bad for my Userid on my workstation.

It drives me crazy that Adobe does not use the standard Mac keyboard shortcuts in their applications for Mac.  I finally got pretty annoyed that I went to correct them in Dreamweaver.  I found the place to set shortcuts, but when I try to replace the end key (for end of line) with Cmd + right nothing happens.  If I got a letter, for example, that the key appears, but it does not seem to recognize Cmd + right arrow as a sequence valid.  Before you try to add that I deleted the shortcut Cmd + right which was associated with "right to speak".

  • Cannot use keyboard shortcut "create a virtual copy.

The keyboard shortcut for the command "Create a virtual copy" in Lightroom 2.x is CTRL + "." This shortcut is useless for users with a keyboard configured as "Canadian French", as the only way to type an apostrophe (') is to use the combination SHIFT +'. I tried all possible combinations, including CTRL + SHIFT +', and it just doesn't work.

Is it possible to remap these shortcuts?

There' has a file called TranslatedStrings.txt somewhere in your Lightroom program files. You can redefine keyboard shortcuts here.

For example, the files (\Resources\of\TranslatedStrings.txt) German has the following entry:

    "$$$/AgLibrary/Menu/Shared/CreateVirtualCopies/Key=Cmd+t"

While the french (\Resources\en\TranslatedStrings.txt) has this:

    "$$$/AgLibrary/Menu/Shared/CreateVirtualCopies/Key=Cmd+'"

If you use English as the language of Lightroom, all you have to do is create a similar file in the "en" folder, enter the string above and define some shortcut works for you.

I see that I can copy my shortcuts to a text file on my pasteboard, I guess I can save the big wall of text version... I could then change the file extension to something? Something that can be opened in flash in the future somehow? ".kys" did nothing, she tied for the first...
There was a button for recording as an HTML element, now you can simply remove...

    Hi Zwolff,

Thanks for posting in the Community Support from Apple! I understand that you are having problems with the keyboard shortcut to put your display to sleep. It is certainly a handy to use feature and I'm happy to offer some suggestions to help.

The first thing that I recommend you try safe mode connects. This will clear the caches and conduct audits at your connection. Here you can find the steps for safe mode:

Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

I also recommend you test this in a test on your Mac user account. There may be software or a specific file of the user that generated problems with your shortcut.

Special keys are... half of work... the "F2", A, S, esc and F12 are works not... the key F8 seems functional (I see in system preferences that alter the frequency but the * icon fan that will gray or white * is not like the other icons)

    Some ideas?

TNX! and have a nice day.

    Hello

According to the info (more info) on the Toshiba European page the Hotkey Utility allows you to display on screen LCD LCD + CRT or CRT mode by pressing Fn + F5.

I'm not very well if you'll be able to use all THE FN buttons m description indicates that the driver allows the use of the Fn + F5 keys.

However, make sure your Windows XP is up to date (all service packs and patches are installed) and try to reinstall the Hotkey Utility again.

By the way; on the page, you will find the latest version of the BIOS. Make sure that if your computer is already using the latest BIOS

  • Cannot use my keyboard shortcuts

Last night, I was playing a game on the internet that required me to use the CTRL space and arrow numerous amounts of times in a row, and now I can't use my keyboard shortcuts like ctrl + c, ctrl + v, or ctrl + alt + delete. I messed around a bit with the sticky keys options and made numerous amounts of different combinations to see if I could solve the problem, but so far, nothing has worked. I'm pretty sure that my problem is not apparent virus, I just want to know what I did to change the settings to its current form and how to get back to his previous 100% form.

    Hello, Ramona,.

Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft community!

I understand that you have problems with the keyboard shortcuts. I will try to help you solve the problem as soon as possible.

    (1) what is the brand and model of the keyboard?

Method 1: Check if you are able to use the on screen keyboard shortcut.

Type without using the keyboard (on-screen keyboard)

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/type-without-using-the-keyboard-on-screen-keyboard

Method 2: You may have to uninstall your keyboard driver, and then restart your computer and your keys CTRL works once more.  To do this:

    (a) click Start

    (b) Control Panel

    (c) printers and other devices

    (d) keyboard

    (e) in the keyboard properties window, click on Hardware

    (f) click Properties

    (g) click the driver

    (h) click on uninstall, click OK

    (i) restart your computer

  • Is it possible to create a keyboard shortcut for "book of the export to PDF format? (Cannot find it in the keyboard shortcuts window.)

I would like to create a shortcut for the 'Export to the book in PDF format' command in the Panel menu books, but I can not simply find this command in keyboard shortcuts. Finding is not in what appeared to be the logical place (keyboard shortcuts > product area: Panel Menus > book), I looked at all areas of products listed on the drop-down list - but it seems that I must be missing something.

What I do / where should I look to assign a keyboard shortcut for this command?

Sorry, I agree that it is missing in action. I don't know of a workaround, unless someone has written a script. Scripts can be called with keystrokes.

  • Are there ways to create keyboard shortcuts in Windows Explorer?

    Hello

    My OS features:

    Windows XP

    Professional

    Version 2002

    Service Pack 3

So I do not know when Microsoft has implemented it (maybe?), but I was looking for a way to create a combination of shortcut keys which would act as the 'Alt + arrow up' in the newer versions of Windows...

If your are unsure what I mean (explanation below):

In more recent versions of Windows, for example, when you use Windows Explorer or when you're on IE and that you want to save a file using the "Save AS" function to 'Browse' to a place, you can use the combination of 'Alt + arrow up' key to go back one level in the current window/folder.

I know, in Windows XP Explorer, there is a button on the "Standard toolbar" makes this exact function, but it's so much more convenient to use the keyboard shortcut to do this.

Does anyone know if a way that I could implement this in Windows XP?

    Thanks in advance,

    Matt

    Hi Matt,

Here are the keyboard shortcuts which works for Windows XP. You cannot customize the shortcut, as is the design of the operating system.

  • Using a keyboard shortcut to insert text

I'll try to find how to insert text quickly without having to type it all in. The example is my email address. It takes a while to type, and I have to do it often. Is there a way to press a single function/control key which States that the value assigned to it, and if so, how do assign you the value to the key?

    Hi Graham,

You can assign keyboard shortcuts to launch a program.

Here is a video on it:

    http://www.myhowtoos.com/en/Windows-howtoos/92-how-to-assign-keyboard-shortcuts-to-applications

You cannot assign a new function to the Windows key, natively in Windows 7 or Vista.

You can't create hotkeys for pasting text into a form or document, natively in Windows 7 or Vista.

Internet Explorer has a way to save the data from the forms (AutoComplete) if it is of no interest.
