• Cannot select several windows in the taskbar.

  In Windows XP, you may hold down the CTRL key and select multiple windows, then right-click on one of them and choose close, which would close all save time and clicks.

  With the redesign of the taskbar, les ingenieurs engineers included a method to close all windows of a particular program.  There is however no more multiple-selection.  You can always do this by pressing Ctrl-Shift-Escape and then using Ctrl-click to select and close the windows of this list of programs.

  Master page items are locked to the master layer.

  There is no visual controls to unlock - unfortunately.

  You must click CTRL or CMD (Mac/Windows) to allow them on the pages.

  Note: once you do this, untie you them Master Pages.

  Any change to the item on the master pages will be included in these items "unrelated".

• How can I delete several emails at once using Thunderbird?

  You use the methods of standard selection on the computer.

  control + a = select all

  Click on message 1, up or down several messages and hold the SHIFT key while clicking on the message 2 = selects message 1 and 2 and everything in between

  Hold down the CTRL key while clicking random messages = SΘlectionner any message clicked on

  Hold down the CTRL key when you click on a selected message = deselect this message

• Using shift registers global verses

  I'm new to 2009.  Our last update was 7.1.  I'm upgrading our laboratory SW and using events.  EVENT 1: is used to display the data in a text file in a table "data set".  EVENT 2: using to option button and the table "Data set", the user selects the data column to use for the test that is displayed in a table «Points de Test»  EVENT 3: If the user changes the data in the table "set of data', 'Points of Test' test point table is the update.  I use local variables for 'Set data', 'Points of Test' and I was going to use other settings as well (radio button, etc.).  I also think about using a shift register to realize that the same information.  I used shift registers in the past and they can be annoying, but I also understand that you should stay away from variables.  Please pass along an Advisor on the use of local variables shift verse records.  THANKS in advance!

  I don't know what you defined as 'EVENT 1' to '3', but they seem to be quite the case.

  The use of shift registers sounds messy, but they are much better than local Variables If you parallel threads past in your code.

  Clean the threads between the shift registers is to use clusters.

  People of the country appear more clean, until they 'byte' you in the... code...

  EDIT: "they are much better than local Variables If you parallel threads going on in your code" I have to explain... If you have parallel code that uses Variables to local variables as this may lead to a race or conditions...

• Cannot select the drive (NAS) on Windows Media Center

  Original title: cannot select the drive (NAS)

  My HTPC uses a small SSD 30gig as an OS drive, with all the media stored on a 2 TB WD MyBook Live all connected via gigabit ethernet.  The NAS is mapped by Win7 Premium as Z: and is visible for Win 7 and all other programs, including iTunes and XBMC.  In Media Center settings-> TV-> check the possibility of the recorder are grayed out (+/-buttons) and the drive C: of SSD is the only option.  What can I do to get the WMC to see the SIN?  Is there another setting of mapping I should use?

  Also, as a side note, there is no option to change the quality of the recording at all.  Installer below.  If any other information is needed, let me know.

  Try these:
  METHOD 1:
  Back up all the files on a USB Flash drive or an external hard drive and re - install Windows on the hard disk of laptop.

  METHOD 2:

  Try partitioning your hard drive and put your files there.

  1. Start menu search: 'drive '.
  2. click on create and format hard disk partitions
  3 right-click the Local Disk (C) and select shrink.
  4. According to the size of the files, we could save, choose the size you want to reduce (1000 MB = 1 GB)
  5. right click on the new "unallocated space" and create the Partition. (Name it BACKUP or something)
  6. place all your important files on the new partition, and then, when you reinstall Windows, select the Local Disk (C)
  DO NOT select the Partition you you saved on files.

  I create a page "Form on a Table with Report" (APEX 5). Table I has 3 columns: cat_key, item_value, item_description. The cat_key is a foreign key in a table with columns cat_key, cat_value. I created the report and everything works fine.  The page of the report shows my domain cat_key in number, so I want it instead to display the cat_value. I change the field cat_key to a text based on LOV, select my LOV and now when I view the page of report I get the "'ORA-01445: cannot select ROWID from where sample, a join without key preserved table view ' error." The report uses the ROWID as a link to the edit page field.

  If I use the same tables and even shared LOV in a report page interactive, it works fine.

  What I am doing wrong?

  This is a limitation of the IR Apex will rewrite your query to a query that includes the lookup table and the columns. So now you have actually created a query on an inline view, which causes the error. You can see the query apex created when running in debug mode. APEX will join the table of choice with your primary table. For example from one of my IR:

  So, if possible, base your reports and forms on the real primary key, no rowid.

  You can also write the IR query with the search yourself:

  Select T1.rowid...

  of primary_table T1

  look_table L1

  ...

• Cannot select part of a pdf text to mark it. Any solution? T

  I use Adobe XI. In some of my pdf files, I am unable to select parts of the text in order to mar them. Could be useful?

• I need to enter my billing address, but cannot select my country in the menu dropdown.

  I'm trying to upgrade a free membership to the membership of the only application on the Adobe web site. When I get to the point to get into the details of my payment, I asks me to enter my billing address, but cannot select my country in the menu dropdown.   Creation of an EO-based the rowid as primary key is usually the cause of this error as is not recommended to use the rowid as the primary key. Try to use jtf_note_id as the primary key.

  Furthermore, why are you using NAV it is seen for the creation of EO. If I remember correctly, there is a JTF_NOTES_B and JTF_NOTES_TL table that you can use.

  I read Re: v4.0 - in the form of ORA-01445: cannot select ROWID from where sample, where someone had a similar problem for me, but their solution (by copying the script to create a new page) isn't really an option for us the complexity to the page as a whole.

  This isn't a bug in the apex, if you want to display a different table column there is a way to create a function to get the value of this table

  to "msib.segment1", you must create a function that accepts that some primary key to and retrieves the value of 'mtl_system_items_b' and can return a value in the field "segment1".

  and you can use your previous query, you can add the name of function as a new field
