Sam,
Press Windows key + R to launch the "Run" command and then copy / paste the following command and click OK:
Tracking Add HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\BITS\Parameters /v ServiceDll /t REG_EXPAND_SZ /d %windir%\System32\qmgr.dll
Reboot the machine before doing anything else.
If you get the same error again, run the following command, and then restart again:
Reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\BackupRestore\FilesNotToBackup
Do not skip restart because you make changes in the Windows registry. They have no effect until you restart.
If after you run the two commands, it still does not work, follow the instructions illustrated in this thread:'t-work-how-to-stop-office/a059c47b-e8ad-46c6-8278-ae143feead7c http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-windows_update/windows-xp-update-doesn

1. open the windows Explorer and right click on libraries
2. in context menu, left click Restore default libraries
3. If it does not, click with the right button on each library in the larger windows and then click on delete in the context menu. Below, I've shown you how it is done for photos. You should make Documents, music and videos alike
4. After completing step 3, repeat steps 1 and 2.
If it does not, there isn't anything else I can do. I won't support remotely.

Here's what I have:SlimType DVD C DS24CZP ATA Device

Then, once I closed it, it started to turn, then what sounds like a sound signal, spining, beeps several times, and this will be repeated for a few minutes. Once it stopped, it does nothing. You can not even here it spining. No AutoPlay starts, none Open box, nothing at ALL. The computer doesn't even recognize that there is a DVD in there.
So, I advanced and found in the Device Manager. The picture showed it was a disc with a CD on top (representing is a DVD/CD player) and in front of it, there was a «!» So I opened the information for it. Here's what he said:
"This device cannot start. (Code 10) »

Satellite P200 - 1FC: CD/DVD player won't start - error Code 10
My Satellite P200 - 1FC was purchased in January 2008 and preloaded with Vista Home Premium. The DVD/CD drive is listed in the device as "TSST corp CDDVDW TS - L632H ATA Device" Manager.
Initially, the drive worked perfectly, but recently refused to start. Device Manager it shows now with a yellow exclamation point and its status is given as "this device cannot start. (Code 10) ».
By clicking on 'could not load driver software' product solutions but not solution.
The search for similar issues in the forums of users suggests that use of a page of Microsoft Support Help & directed "the CD-ROM drive or the DVD drive does not work as expected on a computer that you upgraded to Windows Vista".
However it is to change the registry! As a relative novice, I am reluctant to do unless I can find no easier way.
Should I bite the bullet and and enter into this minefield, or is there a better way?
> At first the car worked perfectly, but recently refused to start. Device Manager it shows now with a yellow exclamation point and its status is given as "this device cannot start. (Code 10) ».
Certainly, this error is caused by an incorrect registry entry.
I had this error several times and I solved this disassembly of these registry keys upper and lower filters:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}Here are a few steps how it worked on my Windows system;
-J' removed the Device Manager CD/DVD drive
-Then edited the registry as described above
-Restarting the laptopI'm sure that this will also help you.
Good bye

The Philips SPA5210 bar: this device cannot start. (Code 10)
Hi all
I have a brand new Philips Soundbar which does not work. Running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and try to use the audio driver generic usb (which is what suggests Philips). I get the dreaded "this device cannot start. (Code 10) "error.
This unit works very well on my Linux box, so I know that its hardware functional. If anyone can help with this?
Thank you very much
Brian
Hi Brian Matheson,.
It is possible that the Soundbar is perhaps not compatible with Windows 7 64 bit operating system.
Check out the link here and open the user manual where it does not list Windows 7 in system requirements.
If it works, try the step below and check out them.
1. click on Control Panel.
2. double-click on the sounds and Audio devices icon.
3. in sounds and Audio devices
1 properties, select the Audio tab.
2. under sound playback, select Philips SPA5210.
If the previous step fails, then try to connect to it on the other USB port and check.
If you have Windows 7 32 bit on another PC, check if the Soundbar works.
I hope this helps!
