Cannot start log_monitor.exe without installation install Thinapp

Hello

In the Thinapp documentation 5.1 is saying that you can copy only specific files from log_monitor to run log_monitor.exe, but I can't do the error messages. I have no problem to launch the application, if I install the

Thinapp application.

We want log_monitor availble VDI desktop VM for an easier repair of Thinapps, but we can not install Thinapp because if licensing.

Thinapp documentation links:

http://pubs.VMware.com/ThinApp-51/index.jsp#com.VMware.thinapp51.Userguide.doc/log_monitor_format.html

I tried to copy the following files in system32 directory:

capture.ini

log_monitor.exe

Logging.dll

logging64.dll

but I get this error message:

Capture.JPG

I just tried to copy the files in System32 folder on Win7 64 machine and observed the same error. However, this issue is not observed on Win7 32 machine.

To work around the problem, please copy the files to a folder on the C drive and run log_monitor.exe. It works for me.

  • Cannot start Vista somehow without BSOD, including Mode without fail & last known--IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I don't know exactly what the cause of the problem, but I have a feeling that it is a driver problem. I don't know why the problem started, I've had a laptop where the monitor came out on this subject so I photographed the hard to VMware, I never started an operating system that has not been installed in native mode via vmware before so I thought there may be errors.

The first time it booted up it starts normally, the Windows Activation came, although I do not know why I have reactivated, and he says that it needs to restart. I restarted and it said it was installing 10 updates - after the updates done, it restarted and then any startup mode, I choose to get exactly the same problem blue screen of death.

I searched for hours a reply - all, I access the Startup Repair tool command prompt. I think it's a driver issue, but I don't know how to uninstall the drivers from the command prompt.

It is vital that I have fix without restoring the system or in a Format that I need all programs intact with their original settings. I probably just need to uninstall all the drivers and install them again.

Drivers could be at fault, however the problems of disk or security/antivirus/antispyware products are
just as likely to be the root cause that they can force a driver to corrupt or go out of bounds.
The video driver or something affecting it would be questionable.

Make sure that BIOS driver low-level chipset and drivers are all updated by checking manually
system manufacturer and device manufacturers sites.

    Cause

This bug check is issued if the memory paged (or invalid) is accessible when the IRQL is too high.

The error that usually generates this bug check occurs after the installation of the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS.

If you encounter a bug 0xA control during the upgrade to a later version of Windows, this error can be caused by a device driver, system service, an anti-virus or a backup tool that is not compatible with the new version.

    Solve the problem

If a kernel debugger is available, get a stack trace.

To resolve an error caused by the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. Press F8 to character-based menu that displays the choice of operating system.
    3. In the WindowsAdvanced Options menu, select last known good Configuration . This option is most effective when a pilot or a service is added at a time.

To resolve an error caused by an incompatible device driver, system service, virus scanner, or backup tool

    1. Check the system log in Event Viewer for error messages that may identify the device or driver that caused the error.
    2. Try disabling the cache in memory of the BIOS.
    3. Run the diagnostics of equipment provided by the manufacturer of the system, in particular the scanner memory. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.
    4. Make sure that the latest Service Pack is installed.
    5. If your system has cards (SCSI) small computer system interface, contact the card manufacturer for updated Windows drivers. Try to disable sync negotiation in the SCSI BIOS, check the wiring and the SCSI ID of each device and confirming the proper termination.
    6. For devices (IDE) peripheral electronic integrated, set the built-in as only primary IDE port. Also, check each IDE device to the right setting master/slave/stand alone. Try to remove all IDE devices except for the hard drives.

If the message appears during installation of Windows, make sure that the computer and installed devices are listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.

A driver tried to access a pageable (or that is completely invalid) address while the IRQL was too high.

This bug check is usually caused by drivers who used a wrong address.

If the first parameter has the same value as the fourth parameter, and the third parameter indicates a runtime operation, this bug check was probably caused by a driver who was trying to run code when the code itself has been paginated outside. The possible causes for the error page are:

    • The function was marked as pageable and was operating at an IRQL higher (including obtaining a lock).
    • The function call was made to a function in another pilot, and that this driver has been unloaded.
    • The function was called by using a function pointer that was an invalid pointer.

  • Home CD not active - WinXP virtual system - cannot start from the CD to install WinXP

I'm new to this product, although I used vmware customer a while back on a Windows System.

    I have a P4-24 base system. G Intel chipset with new CD/DVD IDE burners/readers.

These are both on IDE1 and nothing is on IDE2

I have two drives SATA WD120G who are the active disks.

ESXi 3.5 installed OK and I can create a virtual machine using the VMware Infracstructure customer.

When I start the client machine I have CD/DVD host will start the Windows XP CD, but it fails

to do so. I tried the option to use the client CD started the power upward, but so far I can not install the WinXP operating system

on the virtual machine. I even unplugged of the DVD to limit the scope, but that made no difference.

It's almost as if the virtual machine cannot find the CD/DVD drive.

    Can someone suggest a resolution?

I never use physical media (do not say that it does not work) - I use the ISO. I find in situations like yours is to mount the iso for the virtual machine outside the parameters of the virtual machine - simplest method, you will see an option to connect to cd/dvd in the menu in the VI client.

Another thing - you will need to connect a flp buslogic image to a floppy drive so that the XP VM can see the buslogic controller (so you can see the hard drive) for installation of the operating system.

http://virtrix.blogspot.com/2007/09/vmware-installing-windows-xp-on-esx.html - this link also has a buslogic.

If you find that you don't have enough time to interact with the menu of the loader boot - set a delay at startup in the settings of the virtual machine to 5000ms - this will give you 5 seconds.

    I hope this helps.

  • Z820 - BIOS updated to v2.55 - cannot start or install the installation of Windows 7 (UEFI) disc

    Hello

I have serious problems with the boot and install Windows 7 on my Z820.

My problems started with Windows Boot Manager, throwing an error in the boot, saying that "the Windows Boot Configuration data file is missing required information". In the end, I decided to do a full clean reinstall of WIndows. However, I was unable to get Windows 7 installed. I was able to boot the disc at retail of Windows 7 64-bit UEFI mode, but he had problems with the installation. Each attempt ended with an error stating that 'Windows could not update the configuration to start the computer. Installation cannot continue. ».

It was the BIOS v2.08. Intel 520 (240 GB) SSD as boot drive and 2 TB SATA HARD drive as data disc on the ports of controller LSI 2308 0 and 1 respectively. 2 DVD players on Intel AHCI ports.

I decided to take a different path.

I removed my data HDD and a DVD of the Z820 player. I put my SSD (which will become the startup disk) and a DVD player on both ports to AHCI.

I've updated the Z820 BIOS with the latest version (v2.55, February 13, 2013), did a reset CMOS (machined cable disconnected) and reset the BIOS to factory default settings. Then, I put 'OptionROM mass storage' mode EFI and the storage on AHCI mode.

Now, when I put in retail Windows 7 SP1 64-bit installation DVD and select the drive of DVD (UEFI) to start, I get just a flashing dash. I noticed also that some fans begin immediately turn faster.

    To summarize:

I am unable to boot Windows 7 SP1 64 bit DVD installation detail at all and therefore impossible to install Windows 7.

Configuration of the system (as in the last installation attempt):

    -Dual Xeon E5-2680

    -32 GB OF RAM DDR3-1600 PC3-12800

-240 GB SSD IDE AHCI Intel oucederomsurlesecondport 520

    DVD player - Harbour AHCI

    -NVIDIA Quadro 4000

-BIOS v2.55 (OptionROM in EFI, Secure Boot disabled mode mass storage)

    I'm getting desperate... ;-)

Should I try reseating the RAM modules? Remove some RAM? Connect my monitor differently (currently DVI to VGA)? Replace the graphics card?

    Kind regards

    Dries

In the safety device is the LSI controller set to device available and under device options is Donwload ROM option enabled.

  • Satellite A200 - once installation of Karspersky cannot start the CAM software

    Guys I need help...

I have download the Karspersky antivirus 2009 and I install on my Toshiba Satellite A200-gs1 psaece
He acknowledged the cec_main.exe as virus and block...
I put it in the exclusion list, it does not continue the works, and when I started my laptop it said «cannot run cec_main.exe...» ».

I remove the program and install it again I ve put again to the exclusion list.
Now it's the turn of say on your camera when I m running my cam program.
I put t know what I should do...

    Here is the cure:
Probably a good idea to go to Toshiba and download the latest version of the software for the camera to your computer. Do not open this software. Go to the control panel and remove the existing camera Assistant software. Open the Kaspersky software and click settings then click threats and exclusions under the Options tab. Click on the zone of confidence. Click on approved Applications. If CEC_MAIN.exe exists, delete it. Restart the computer.
May be a good idea to delete your internet cable because we do a right-click on the Kaspersky shortcut and click PROTECTION of PAUSE. This is a must! Probably best to set for a 10 minute break. Close this menu and then open Kaspersky. Go to settings > threats and Exclusions > Trusted Zones > objects > Add + > and type in manually or copy and paste the following text exactly as shown below:

C:\Program Camera Assistant Software for Toshiba\CEC_MAIN.exe

exclusionary rules, to allow CEC_Main.exe to be a trusted application. Then reinstall the software assistant camera. Kaspersky should always be in pause mode, but will let you know maybe CEC_MAIN.exe to contain a virus.
Ignore, but look for the option on this same screen that will allow you to add this as a trusted application. It's the key to this... Kaspersky should be paused during the reinstallation of the software. Once you tell Kaspersky to add this as a trusted application, your installation should be completed. REBOOT and the problem is over.

    ·         How are you starting the installation process?

After researching the error 0x8007000D code is essentially due to file corruption and a problem with the drive itself.

First check if you have scratches or dust on the disc and clean the surface and try again.

To check if the disk is wrong, you will need to copy the contents of the DVD to the hard drive and try to install using that.

To perform a flat installation of Windows Vista, follow these steps.

Note The hard disk must have at least 3 GB of free space on the disk for the Windows Vista installation files. The hard disk must have at least 15 GB of additional disk space to install Windows Vista. For more information about system requirements for Windows Vista, see the Microsoft Web site at the following address:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/products/windowsvista/editions/SystemRequirements.mspx

    1. Insert the Windows Vista installation disc.
    2. Start Windows Explorer.
    3. In Windows Explorer, click to select the drive for the Windows Vista installation disc.
    4. On the Edit menu, click select all.
    5. On the Edit menu, click copy.
    6. Click to select the hard disk you want to contain the flat installation files.
    7. On the file menu, point to new, click the folder, type Windows Vista Setupand then press ENTER.
    8. Double-click the Windows Vista Setup program, and then click Paste on the Edit menu.
    9. Double-click Setup.exe, and then follow the instructions that appear.

See the link below for more information on flat installation.

This problem can also occur if the firmware of the DVD drive is defective or obsolete.

If the step above does not resolve the question suggests that you install the latest drivers for the DVD player on the computer.

  • Problems installing the Apple updates. System error program cannot start because MSVCR80.dll is missing on your computer. "

Original title: I am a computer newbie, could someone explain/direct me?  Many thanks, Mark

Recently, I received an Apple update normal I-tunes.  Have done a little before, never with a problem.  This time, it seemed that everything was fine, then at the end (when expects a message "successfully installed", I received an error box with this: APS Daemon.exe - error system, the program cannot start because MSVCR80.dll is missing on your computer.)  Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. "Well, since nothing else seems to work (or helping) and my music files have been backed up, I uninstalled I-Tunes successfully, then attempted to re - install.  I had to download the installation of Apple, which was very good. Once again, everything seemed to go smoothly, installation, etc. until it got to the point when he said "Marketing Services".  Then, as before - everything stopped and jumped up to the exact same APS Daemon.exe - error box system (with the same message) referencing MSVCR80.dll once again, saying that it is missing and try to reinstall the program.  From now on, I don't know exactly what that means (I know, I know) or if it's something someone like I could fix (or even try), or if I should just run down to my local computer store?   Never had any problems with the Apple or Windows updates before this one.

Thank you to everyone how wants take a few minutes and help a person who has started working on computers far too late in life!
    Sincerely, mark Hawk

  • HP Pavillion Model 17-f1210nr: cannot start correctly, Accelerometer.exe mfc120u.dll missing

I'm not sure of the product is correct because the characters are very tiny and difficult to read.  I should also mention that this lapto came with Win8.1 and I had cleared and installed Win7.

Very early in the morning of 12 November, I turned on my laptop for the first time in a month.  AMD Radeon wanted to download and install updates, something that I have authorized.  Since then, every time you start, I get the following error popup and it remains above it all, until I click OK.

    AccelerometerSt.exe - Application error

The application failed to start properly (0xc00007b). Click OK to close the application.

    Exe is located in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Hewlett-Packard\HP DriveGuard\AccelerometerSt.exe 3D

If I put this in a bar in windows Explorer and press the Enter key, I get a stays high Popup in the error page that says the following

    AccelorometerSt.exe - system error

The program cannot start because mfc120u.dll is missing on your computer.  Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

I'm not a computer scientist, but I know what he does.  This is what detects if my phone fell and snaps hard disk drive arm in its place before impact to avoid a head crash, which would destroy the hard drive of rest

I need to know the exact page where I can go to download the installation file to resolve the problem.

  • Portege Z930 cannot start with installed RAM module

My laptop Toshiba Portege Z930-108 has stopped booting with any module of RAM installed in the support.

If I remove RAM module, laptop computer starts and works fine, but if I install any module of RAM (4 GB 1600 original or a new 4 1600 CL9 or 1600 8 CL11) the computer cannot start.

The screen stays black and power led flashing two green and two orange and a few seconds later, 3G indicator also on blue.

This is the only problem I have with this computer, but it's strange.

I updated the BIOS to the latest version and the problem is not resolved.

I tried to reset the hardware (http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB3B03J90000R01.htm), also I tried to reset the equipment with power button 30 seconds without battery but button without success.

Any idea on this problem of strage?

    Kind regards
    Lito.

I guess you used bad RAM or not fully compatible modules.
    It's the only plausible explanation.

I recommend you to order the RAM modules recommended by Toshiba that are:

    4 GB DDR3 - 1600 PA5037U-1M4G

    2 GB DDR3 - 1600 PA5037U-1M2G
