  As a much get into the BIOS if you use the Fusion 3, you don't need to enter the BIOS to change the boot device as this can be done in the settings now however to enter the BIOS for other things that need/want of press you F2 directly after starting the Virtual Machine and after having clicked on the screen but the av VM boot so fast that it's easily missed.  You can add the following settings to the file of configuration .vmx of the Virtual Machine to slow down the startup so that force once in the BIOS.

  bios.bootDelay = "3000"
  bios.forceSetupOnce = "TRUE"
  

  The bios.bootDelay is in milliseconds and the bios.forceSetupOnce Boolean value is then set to FALSE, automatically.  Each of these parameters are independent of each other.

  Notes: Creating an ISO Image of the CD/DVD drive

  When you use utility disk in order to have a bootable ISO Image, you must select Master CD/DVD without encryption in which case by default, it will have an extension .cdr file and in version 1.1 of the merger and later does not need to be changed in .iso, although one can if one chooses to. A default .dmg image is compressed and is not bootable, as an uncompressed .dmg will start if changed in .iso and of course the source CD/DVD should be bootable in the first place.

  To create an ISO Image using disk utility...

  1 insert the CD or DVD disc into the optical drive of your computer.

  2. open disk utility (/ Applications/Utilities/Disk utility).

  3. Select the CD or DVD drive in the list of disks and volumes.

  4. Choose file > new > "Disk Image from (name of the disc)."

  5. type a name for the disk image.

  6. choose "DVD/CD master" from the Image Format pop-up menu.

  7 choose "none" from the encryption pop-up menu.

  8. click on save.

  I have a 2nd generation Ipod which is is disabled because of lost password. So I know no more iOS type.

  The problem is that I can't open the dfu mode even if I tried "all" solutions that the web has to offer.

  Whenever I have connect the ipod to the pc, Itunes response is "Itunes can not connect to the device because it is locked. "You need to type the code before it can connect to iTunes."

  I tried the approach that Apple recommended but it does not work. The final solution, I tried was to download recboot and see if I could activate this way dfu mode, but only has not to be helped.

  Turn off the iPod Touch. Press in and hold the home button while connecting to iTunes, make sure that you press and hold the home button before you connect and keep holding until you see the recovery screen, must look like the one below. Once to this iTunes screen should warn you that it detects an iPod in recovery mode and needs to restore. Now, just click on restore and iTunes will restore the iPod touch, no code necessary.   Try this:

  Remove the hard drive

  With the removed hard drive boot the computer and enter the BIOS

  Find your Sata operation setting and ensure that its value ATA

  Replace your boot order the way that was, save and stop.

  Reinstall the hard drive and the shoe at the screen BIOS F12 spam until the boot selection screen appears.

  Select the CD drive and continue with the installation.

• Blue Screen BAD_POOL_CALLER cannot start the laptop after Windows XP updates

  My user has a Dell Latitude E6500 and after installing Windows Update, the laptop does not start in Windows XP.  Tried to repair, reinstall all Modes and each option we just get error BAD_POOL_CALLER not boot into the operating system.

  Reference Dell it's a software problem, probably caused by the update as no other changes have been made to the laptop.  Before we pay for Dell support software means someone has suggestions?  All options on Googling guess you can enter Windows in at least secure Mode that we can not so I'm stuck!

I tried the standard F8 during startup to go into safe mode and run my anti virus scanners, but apparently it does not work in windows 8. Some say SHIFT F8, that does not work either. Also any other method of setting up safe menu starting boot or mode does not work as it should connect on the desktop to go threw the settings and activate it for the next boot upward. This does not work for me since the virus I have apprently made my fall display driver, after I get my user password to start the desktop computer, so I don't see anything but the pointer of the mouse, everything is black. Y at - it another way to start in safe mode or trigger a recovery system or restore without actually being on the desktop?

  I already ordered a recovery disk as that seemed to be my only option. But the works of windows 8 way I will NEVER buy a computer with it again.   1 know if your AV (anti-virus) program is supposed to disable your Windows Firewall. Some do it.

  These error messages are a pain in the neck to extract useful information.

  I suggest that you do a search online 'pilot audio free downloads' and find another audio program for your PC.

  If you find something that works for your satisfaction - remove your original pain in neck audio software and make sure you make your audio program newly found the 'default' device.

  Realtek and NVIDIA, for example get stuff good free audio driver.

  If the new program does not work - it would be a good indication that you have hardware on your PC, drive problems and no amount of play more with to try to correct the audio software will help. Period
