Cannot update - will not let me "sign in."

Apps work, no problem signing here.

However, when I try to update my applications, it asks to connect you, but won't let me.

Anyone know if there are problems with the server at this time?

Seems OK now - restarted for another reason, and connect through the creative cloud desktop application and executes updates are successful!

  • Windows 8 will not let me sign

    When we try to connect to our users on our new PC accounts, told us our password is incorrect and if we go to account.live to reset (password).  We tried half a dozen times without success.  I can sign into my hotmail, but not my PC.  Looks like a lot of people have had this problem and we have tried everything we can find, but nothing works.  We can't even get help from microsoft.  does anyone have a solution we are missing?

    I'm Donna G, and I can tell you several things that could be the problem.

    1 Microsoft 8 is a windows I found is very picky and in my opinion, he is jealous of the love of other programs around it, like Explorer 8 because he got more attention and acted up like a small child. Perhaps, if you name your computer while I'm telling you, I named my 1st computer George and used more.

    2. maybe for windows 8, you must write the things he does wrong and things it's just, of course please mention to windows 8 what you are doing and why, cause he knows what you type and if it is wrong to tell him it's o. k. to injure themselves because they don't want * it off right , ?

    3 tell how badly you're going to shoot some of its problems and you might or might not find what the problems are and if you don't find it has all the problems that you're going to ask Mr. Microsoft that you did and you could not know what there problem is. I'm sure Mr. Microsoft could diagnose.

    I have Windows 7 and am having problems with my Photoshop (Adobe Creative Suite 5 Production Premium/students and teachers). When I was with my Photoshop yesterday, a window appeared and told me that the program was no longer functional and him to stop.     Sorry for the confusion and frustration.

    Because the Muse is an Air application, there are some limitations in the way that we interact with the Application Manager that can cause these types of States in conflict. We have plans that will address this, but unfortunately, it of a complicated situation and will take time.

    I'm working on a document that will address all the various installation questions such as this one and post it on the forum and elsewhere when its done. I apologize that this has not happened before and several people were affected than expected.

    Microsoft Update will not run through Internet Explorer.

    I seem to encounter two different errors and there seems to be no trend about which error appears where or when or why.

    One is 0x800A138F: the site has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view.

    I don't remember exactly what it was or said, but it was similar.

    I tried the solutions so far:

    -restart the computer, internet, etc.

    -added the Windows Update and Microsoft Update for Trusted Sites (I did years ago)

    -reset of Trusted Sites as the Internet zone settings

    -connected Microsoft Fix - It here: http://support.microsoft.com/mats/windows_update/en-us

    -a attempted to run the windowsupdate.diagcab from here: http://support.microsoft.com/gp/windows-update-issues?wa=wsignin1.0

    As with many other users of this forum, I can't run this .diagcab file. Looking at the many messages on this file, no one has yet solved anything. It seems that Microsoft has yet to recognize or acknowledge that they're providing a tool that is unusable. I hope I've provided enough information to lead to a resolution. I also sent a report through the Fix - It tool when it has not changed anything.
