  Windows 7 handles USB devices very well.

  Please describe your problem in more detail. Tell us what means "cannot use any usb device and the mouse either. Exactly how do you try? What happens when you try? If you get an error message, please quote verbatim.

• generate the TTL signal for synchronization from another device with Labview

  Hi all

  I use NEITHER-6071E and try to generate and send a TTL signal so I can synchronize another device with my Labview code. My code (code attached) generates a sine wave, and I want to send a singal TTL out at an angle of phase on the sine wave. Currently, the code sends a sinusoidal signal and a square using similar wave output on BNC Plug. I thought I could just use a square wave, and send it out as analog output for the other device, but apprantly that he works with a TTL signal.

  Could you please take a look at my code and advice me how to generate a TTL signal while being able to send it to some phase shift?

  I try to use a USB of NI 9201 on a remote real-time target. Here's what I did: 1) tricked out of a desktop PC to serve as target RT using the instructions provided on the Web site of NOR. He now starts in an RTOS with LabView RTOS 9.0. (2) I communicated successfully with the help of a host computer that has a windows with LabView 2009 BONE and I installed the software from the computer remote RT target host using ethernet. However, my problem is when I plug NI 9201 USB on the target RT that I do not see the material listed on the devices tab in MAX and interfaces on remote systems. I tried to get the manuals for the HW 9201, but it seems not much explained here, or maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  PS: I am attaching 2 JPEGs for additional explanations (tab network settings and the settings of the system).

  9201 USB is not supported on RTPCs please visit this link. Currently no usb-DAQ devices do not support an environment CRPC. Only the PCI DAQ devices are supported.

  There is a difference betweenmx and traditionalDAQ DAQ!

  Installation of NI - DAQ6.9.3 is ok as outlined in this KB entry link above.

  But: you will find all of the DAQmx like this "DAQ Assistant" features! (Btw. why you insist on the use of ExpressVIs?)

  You must use the TraditionalDAQ functions instead. (There should be a few examples too...)

  Yes, DAQmx does not support your DAQCard1200. But TraditionalDAQ6.9.3 will do...

• Cannot use MATLAB MCR DLLS in LabVIEW

  General information:

  We would like to call a Matlab compiled DLL, which is based on the duration of the compiler Matlab (MCR), LabVIEW. We also want to use the LabVIEW Vision of data collection software. Use a map OR frame grabber is installed, and a camera is connected to the card. We were using an evaluation version of LabVIEW to see if you can solve this problem. We tried two versions of LabVIEW 8.6 and 2010.

  The problem:

  The installation program of LabVIEW place dll in the system32 folder. The names of some of these DLLs are generic enough. LabVIEW vision software includes tbb.dll in the System32 folder. Execution of the Matlab compiler also includes a tbb.dll, not in system32, but in it's own application directory. LabVIEW DLL / so everybody, which is kind of rude, but little matter which at the present time. The biggest problem is when I try to use Matlab in the same process as LabVIEW Vision. It is not possible to do so, because the names of DLL in conflict between them, and I have no control over the source or Matlab and LabVIEW code to allow them to be charged with the full path name.

  For this reason, we can use the LabVIEW software to solve our specific application.

• Cannot use e-gift card with a quote

  I have some major problems with a purchase. Thursday (four days ago), I got a quote for a chat for 13 Chromebook sales representative. I couldn't buy then because I had to wait until my gift cards has consolidated. (None of them are promo gift cards.) Today, I checked and gift cards have been consolidated (yay!), so I looked to the top of the quote to complete the purchase. He had nowhere to enter the gift card and apply it towards balance. The only mention of gift cards, I could find was in relationship with (and with) a financing statement. I didn't sign up for an account, but the word "gift" is not even on other pages until the final payment button.

  I spoke with someone in the chat, and he said to select "Gift card" payment type drop down. There is no such don't fall down I can find. The payment page has text links for the different forms of payment that each have their own page. I tried selecting the option 'Pay with two credit cards', but the card does not appear as an option of credit card here.

  then... How can I request a gift card to my balance? I am unable to use a gift card with a quote? Or do I wonder funding to use a gift card?

  Thanks for the reply, Lorna. In fact, I was able to get back in touch with the sales team and make the purchase by phone with no problems. Don't know what was going on with the purchase online, but the problem was solved in another way.

• Cannot use my shure pg58 with hearing cs6?

  I started the test today and I plugged in my microphone and tried to save, it indicates the frequency of sampling of the output devices and audio do not match. Audio cannot be recorded until this problem is corrected. Use the appropriate operating system or control panel of audio device to adjust the frequency of sampling of the input devices and outpute to use the same settings. Ive tried to change the sampling frequency that it does not help.

  Looks like you are using Windows 7 (or Windows Vista) and Ms. Audition default driver type.  Hearing will not be able to save when Windows is configured with different sampling frequencies for playback and recording.  It is not too difficult difficulty however.

  2 okay, let's do what she suggested and ensure that our registration (entry) and correspond to frequencies of sampling (output) reading.  First, right click on the speaker icon near the Windows clock in your system tray and choose "recorders".

  

  3. Select the input channel that you want to use for recording.  Right-click on it and select "Properties".  (You can also just click normally to select and click on the big button Properties, but who did not have a convincing screenshot).

  

  4. click on the tab advanced, then select your desired sampling frequency from the list.  44 100 Hz or 48 000 Hz are the most common formats.  If you are unsure you need, I'd recommend selecting 44 100.  In both cases, click OK several times to close out of here and do not forget that you selected because...

  

  5. you will now repeat steps 2 through 4, but this time select playback devices in the menu speaker icon.  Right click on the preferred output channel and choose Properties, then Advanced and set the sampling frequency to match your recording device.

  

  6. Finally, click OK to save the settings and close the menus.  At the hearing, select Edit > preferences > Audio hardware and set the sampling rate here option to match.

  

  You should now be able to save!

• Cannot use Bluetooth USB Dongle with Satellite P100

  A few months ago, I bought a dongle Bluetooth USB of Marks & Spencers. He says it's a Bluetooth 2 product. When I put the dongle into the USB port I can see no problem with drivers & Bluetooth in my device manager but I am still not able to see Bluetooth anywhere else on the computer and my phone is unable to find t.

  I was not able to load the software which accompanies it as sound does not seem compatible with windows vista. My laptop is Satellite P100 - 160.

  Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong & what do?

  You must have at least version 5 of the Bluetooth stack in oder to use it with Vista. Please check your site to sellers of laptop computer for her.

• Cannot use the NOR-IMAQdx with 3 USB camera driver

  I have a system WIN7 64-bit I would use with two USB 3 Vision cameras (both are 24UJ003 from The Imaging Source DFK), which works very well with the software IC software. The camera can be opened with IC software but will be visible only with a cadence of 1fps, any size I put it.

  I can open them able and Automation Explorer, but they do not appear under NOR-IMAQdx in the tree.  When I click on the software in MAX tree below, NOR-IMAQdx revealed as being installed (14.5). The camera (and OR) instructions say change the camera driver to that found in C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\NI - IMAQdx\Staging\NI USB3 Vision, but my driver is located in C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\NI - IMAQdx\Staging\NI USB3 Vision.

  Attempts to install the driver displays the following message is displayed:

  "The folder you specified contains a compatible software driver for your device.  If the folder contains a driver, make sure that it is designed to work with Windows for x 64 systems".

  This makes it sound like the driver is in the wrong place or it does not for a 64 bit OS.  Any advice on how to switch them TIS drivers to drivers OR-IMAQdx and also how increase the pace of the second camera would be very much appreciated.

  I tried to connect the cameras individually, and they both have the same performance as when they are connected together (we have good pace, and the other has only 1 fps).

  Are you sure that the camera is Vision compatible USB3? Nothing that I do not see in the marketing material says it is compatible. Is it possible you need a firmware update to make it compatible?

  The installer put IMAQdx driver in the space provided for an x 64 system and he always puts the number of correct bits of the driver down to the system that you have installed. My hunch is that the camera is not to expose a USB3 Vision interface for the driver to bind.

• Error-201003 NiDAQmx cannot use a simulated device

  I am trying to simulate a PCI-6221 on windows 7 via MAX.  The device appears in MAX, but I can't run any signs of test on it and the error-201003 appears.  I use NiDAQ 9.0.2 which worked for me in the past.  Any information on this error would be appreciated, thanks.

  I still don't know what the problem was, but it has been dissipated by uninstalling all software OR my computer, and then reinstall LabView and nidaqmx.

  All programs use the Labview VI:

  DAQmx create channel, DAQmx beginning

  Read loop with DAQmx

  DAQmx Clear

  Everything is good parallel work in a single system, if two cards of the measure.

  Now, I don't have only a single 8 channels card 4472.

  I could use one microphone channel, the other for vibration sensors.

  Of course, with the same sampling rate.

  Is there a solution to capture the data of the card DAQ, one of the two programs?

  If not, what is a good solution to solve this problem, without complete rewrite both programs in a program?

  Possible a new DAQ measurement program to share data to other programs on the same computer:

  -with TCP servers for each channel or

  -with variable shared network or?

  Multichannel with an option to send channel data to a VI Server network queue, see example http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/TCP-Listen-VI/m-p/1017592#M453829

  The other to receive the data from this queue instead of the use of DAQmx.

  We recently bought Labview 2010 for Windows 7 and some software porting, we had on Labview 6.  These programs of control of two instruments: HP (Agilent) 4156A parameter Analyzer and the Keithley 7001 switch system.  When I looked for the drivers of instruments for these two systems, they were no longer available for Labview 2009 and associated NI-VISA 3.2 driver is not compatible with Windows 7.  You have any suggestions on how we can run Labview 2010 on Windows 7 with the ch (Agilent) 4156 A and Keithley 7001?

  A pilot in 2009 can be loaded in 2010 and this is the minimum VISA version, you can use. You need not even the driver of instruments most recent. Just run your existing code.
