Cannot use the default monitor

I have a Mac Pro 2009, 2.66 Ghz quad-core with 32 GB of RAM. I installed a graphics card from Nvidia GTX 960 with 4 GB of RAM after you download the latest drivers from the site Web of Nvidia and them preferring rather than the default drivers El Capitan. Of course, I get no screen, as expected, but I kept getting the dreaded "out of range" error message on my shiny new LG 25UM57 ultra wide monitor. To trouble shoot the issue, I also plugged my 1080 p TV. Low and behold, after pressing the option key to detect monitors, my LG appears. But it works only in the mirror. Now, I have to keep my TV connected to my LG monitor. Is there something that I am on here?

Now you can use your TV a second screen, you're not working 'blind' and should be able to make rapid progress in a solution for your new LG which can be supported.

Try a few "easy resolutions with off mirror until you find at least one that works, then see if you can expand to full width.

You did not mention what interface you are trying to use. If not DisplayPort family, there are some limitations that apply.

I have no idea what browser should I use to open files in Firefox, I used the browser default Mozilla initially which caused me a lot of problems so I stopped using it but don't know alternatives, could someone please because I can't open any files at all now.

Portege R600 - how to use the external monitor on the docking automatically

Hi - I just got a new Portege; R600-102. It's a great machine - very light and fast.

I connect to a Slim port replicator to the office and I wish I could anchor and automatically use the external monitor without opening the laptop. Can someone point me in the right direction on how to do it? This process has worked well on my recently retired Dell X 300.

More precisely:
# I have the laptop closed Portégé and standby mode
# I anchor in the Slim Port Replicator (SPR)
# I press the button 'on' on the SPR
# I see the message "recovery windows" and the bars of the countdown on the external monitor. (So I know it's connected and you can see the external monitor)
# The laptop turns on but use the laptop screen (private) LCD
# I have to open it and manually tell it 'out to watch.
What can be automatically?

Hmm, I think that's not possible, but have you tried to press FN + F5 several times?
Is it only a CRT monitor available?
The monitor CRT, external display and if only that is available, then you could try to choose this.

Otherwise, you can close the lid if you do not use the internal monitor

This function is not controlled by the driver keyboard, but with utilities and tools specific to Toshiba.

Cannot use the output VGA on my Satellite A100

I have laptop Satellite A100 and when I use the my monitor VGA output announcement there is NO signal. I checked my monitor and it does not work.

This that I would like to know because there is no my VGA output signal does that also mean that the * S-video * will not not a signal?

I do not have a S-Video > VGA adapter as far trying to save the cost of buying one if it doesn't...

Is your laptop connected with VGA cable or an adapter on your laptop VGA port?

When the monitor is connected please use FN + F5 key combination to switch between an LCD display and connected monitor.
It work?
