This Canon support page has 10.5 drivers for Intel Macs but not PowerPC:

You have to look at the third party such GimpPrint as options, but those that allow printing, do not scan. I'm sure that you Grand is not going to get full use of this device. I watched Brother MP devices; they are traditionally better as supporting older Mac products. However, their entry-level models now require an Intel Mac and OS 10.6 or higher.

someone at - he found a driver 64 bit Windows 7 that works for Canon imageCLASS D860 all-in - One Printer?

Canon does not support that particular product under Windows 7 x 64.

They argue as well, "Canon imageCLASS D860: this product is compatible with Windows 7 32-bit." There are no drivers for Windows 7 64-bit. "and"No 64 bit drivers are currently available for this product SOHO.

Unfortunately - Canon has decided that this particular product is a legacy.

  • Canon Imageclass D320 All - in - One Printer not install under Windows 7

My new laptop Windows 7 cannot install a driver for the Canon ImageClass D320 printer. The utility plug & play in Windows 7 has failed to find a driver for the D320. I have the installation disc that came w / the D320, but it is also a failure install a driver. (This installation disk includes drivers for only Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 9 X, and Windows Millennium Edition.) The Canon support site @ http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/office/imageclass copiers/imageclass d320/imageclass d320? selectedName = DriversAndSoftware offers drivers the D320, but only for these same 4 OS (that is, only for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 9 X, and Windows Me). Maybe the D320 needs a 64-bit driver?

    Any information would be appreciated.

I certainly do not see 64-bit Windows 7 drivers for the D320 to http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/imageclass_series/imageclass_d320#DriversAndSoftware , and more operating systems you have listed they also show Vista and Vista 64-bit and Windows 7, Windows 7 64 bit.

I use Firefox as my Internet browser.  However if I use exactly the same link using Internet Explorer 9, I see no Windows 7 driver.  If I use Internet Explorer 9 and change it to compatibility view, I can see all the drivers.  (To do this in IE 9 just click on the little icon that looks like a page torn paper in have - in the address bar to the left of the Refresh - button or go to the Tools Menu and select compatibility view)

This is the second time I've seen this problem with the site driver of Canon (where I saw a thing and the person I tried to help him was to see something else on the same link).

  • Canon Imageclass D320 driver for windows 7 64 bit

I tried to download the 64 bit version of the Canon imageclass d320 driver. I have a lenovo T520 running Windows 7. I downloaded the file several times, which runs through several "replaces" driver.

I get an error message stating that the driver already exists and I proceed to overwrite the files... but then nothing happens. I tried several browsers (firefox, chrome, IE)... nothing.
I restarted my laptop. I tried to download with the printer plugged in/not plugged in... nothing!
What's also weird, which is after that I download (e.g. unzip) the file, I can't find it in my programs list to 'uninstall '...
    Any suggestions?

I discussed with the Department of COMPUTING at work, and it turns out that - there are some firewalls and protocols that are in place that prevents the file to download correctly.

I'll close this and have the IT Department. addressing the issue.

The driver is on the Canon site: http://usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/imageclass_series/imageclass_mf3240#DriversAndSoftware

It should be called imageCLASS MF3200 Series Printer Driver Ver.3...

Just make sure that you get the correct for your CPU.  What I would do if I had trouble with this printer is disconnect it from the computer, go to the Control Panel, programs & features, uninstall any software of Canon printer you have there, then restart the PC.

Once restarted, install the newly downloaded driver and do not connect the printer until the software tells you to do.
