  If please close Photoshop and navigate to the location in Photoshop.exe (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2015.5 of CC) and rename Photoshop.exe Photoshop CC 2015.5.exe.

  Once that is done, try to select Photoshop as the default program.

  CC2015.5 being an upgrade, it has not migrated your presets automatically however, you can migrate all the actions, presets manually from the old version.

  Please follow these steps:

  1. keep Photoshop closed and browse to the location: Appdata\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC2015\Auto recover

  2. move all the files under Auto recover on the desktop

  3. launch Photoshop CC2015 and go to Edit > Preferences > Performance > uncheck the option "use graphics processor.

  4. Restart Photoshop and see if that solves your problem.

  I'm having the problem with the installer of cloud.  It will attempt to install the 2015.5 PS and then stops and asks to download me a new installer of cloud asking to install with admin, so I go through the process again ask to download a new installer.
