Canvio AeroMobile are not in wifi connections

I recently purchased a Canvio AeroMobile (128 GB) and followed the instructions to connect wireless to my iphone 5 s. Everything seemed to go well until I was invited to install the latest firmware, I did.

Since the update, the device is more listed as a Wifi hotspot, so I can't actually connect wirelessly, although it works if I connect through port USB to a PC - but that kind of defeats the purpose of a wireless device.

I tried to push the button to reset (for at least 5 seconds), turned off power, even reinstalled the app, but still the same.

What it actually looks like is that the drive is trying to reset itself, but do not complete the process - not connected to the USB and I turn turn it on, the SD card will blink once, then the wifi led lights (and remains) then the battery light comes on for a few seconds, then starts to Flash quickly (more quickly) - and all this the blue wifi stays on and the battery light flashes. I'm writing this, the same lights last for about 3 hours. I don't see what he listed as free wifi on any device (not only my iphone). If I press the reset button, nothing happens.

Unable to follow the instructions to do a complete factory reset as part of that process is to link to it wireless, which of course, I can't do.

is this a known issue? I can't find anything on the internet.

As you already mentioned, reset must be made by pressing on and holding the reset button for at least 5 seconds.

It is a 'feature' really annoying a logon trigger event is 'CONNECTION' not 'LOGON' that is to say there is a space after the opening of SESSION

    Change your query to

  • Canvio Aeromobile RAW photo support

    Hello

Just bought a Canvio Aeromobile backup photos from my camera when traveling.

I thought that the interesting possibility is that he built in the SD card reader so I can backup without using my laptop. Unfortunately, it seems that the Canvio does not support RAW but only JPEG files.

I have been looking online and found reference to a new update of the firmware that provides this feature.
Apparently, the version I need is 2.000.200, but I 2.000.184.

The support document that I found is on the support site of the Middle East:
    http://www.toshibamea.com/en/wireles...age-AeroMobile

Toshiba UK support told me that this version of firmware is not available in the United Kingdom.
When I use the iOS app or my web browser to inquire online I get the message "no firmware not detected" as I am in the United Kingdom.

My question is - is there a way to do it manually?

With my browser really makes me want to navigate to a file of the firmware on my computer as if I had already downloaded.
    Its all very curious.

    Hello

    I found this document.

How can I get or check the latest version of the firmware for my Canvio AeroMobile Wireless SSD?
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/SPD4B03O30001R01.htm

There, you can find this info:
To receive updates firmware for your Canvio AeroMobile, please activate the WiFi 'Bridge Mode' in the settings menu. If a new firmware update is available, you will be prompted to download and install the upgrade.

and here you can find info how to set the "Bridge mode" option, to provide access to your devices while they are linked to your Wireless SSD AeroMobile Canvio?

Original title: need help with setting up an account

    Hi Larry,
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

From your description, it seems that you are not able to connect to the user account when you try to connect you get following error. The user profile Service has no logon

This behavior can occur if the user profile was deleted manually using the command prompt or by using Windows Explorer. A profile that is manually deleted does not remove the security identifier (SID) of the list of profiles in the registry.

If the SID is present, Windows will try to load the profile using the profile Image path that points to a nonexistent path. Therefore, the profile cannot be loaded.

To resolve the problem with the user account, you can follow these steps:
    Method 1:
    (a) click Start, type regedit in the start search box, and then press ENTER.
    (b) search for, and then expand the following registry subkey:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

    (c) right click the SID that you want to remove, and then click on remove.
    (d) log on to the computer and create a new profile.
You can also check this link:
Error message when you log a computer Windows Vista-based or Windows 7 by using a temporary profile: "the user profile Service has no logon. Unable to load the user profile.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/947215

Important: The above section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Method 2: Also, see the steps in the following Microsoft article:

    (a) error message when you log a computer Windows Vista-based or Windows 7 by using a temporary profile: "the user profile Service has no logon. Unable to load the user profile.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/947215

Note: We strongly advise against making it the standard way to remove the user profiles on computers. Documented and supported approach is using the system advanced settings in the system, "Profiles" settings properties For programs, it is available using the API 'delete profile '.

If the SID is present, Windows will try to load the profile using the profile Image path that points to a nonexistent path. Therefore, the profile cannot be loaded.

  • Network accounts are not available

    Hello

I work in a corporate environment that is mainly based on Windows, but also have a handful of Macs and a Mac server. The question I have is that the MacBook display the prompt "network accounts are not available" when connecting. This message disappears when the VLAN from requiring authentication on our firewall device, MACs are to be excluded.

I thought my our support company firewall that Macs are a kind of test at startup. If they do not have full access to internet NETWORK card wireless goes into a State of semi functioning. It is only when they have access to the internet it goes into a fully operational.

It makes sense when the "network accounts are unavailable" message, I can't SSH in the Mac, but can't ping the IP addresses of our DC, ping any name FULL domain or ping any device outside the VIRTUAL LAN. Does exactly the same as this -after-reboot-no-route-to-host http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/231290/mac-unable-to-login-network-user

Our company firewall just remember exactly what service performs this function on the Mac. Anyone know what it's called?
